I had bought a 1.5 Ton Voltas AC on ____ May, 2022.
On 30th June, the AC suddenly stopped working and I immediately filed a complaint. The AC made a terrible noise and there were sparks leading to the light of the entire house tripping because of it. Not only did I file an online complaint but called the customer care to escalate the issue and send someone asap.
I even called the technician who had installed the AC but he refused to come. I had made it very clear to the technician as well as the customer care representative about the urgency of the issue. I was assured someone will be there in the next hour. When that did not happen, I called a third party electrician and it was shown that the Motherboard of a brand new AC malfunctioned.
The AC being under warranty, I contacted the Voltas team for a refund. It was only when I had to get harsh with my words that they responded.
Over a call on 6th July, 2022 Mr. Ravi Sethi said that the refund is not possible and no further warranty can be extended for any other purpose.
I want a refund for the cost borne of a brand new AC or a replacement along with a formal apology from Voltas.
