I registered a complaint with Voltas on 5th of April for repair of my Split AC.
2 people came on 6th from "Hind Air Cool" which Voltas claims to be officially outsourcing it's repair to. They were saying that Capacitor and Reverser replacement is needed but since it was already 8pm, they said they'll fix it tomorrow and get official parts with bill next day.
However, next day they gave me a Hind Air Cool handwritten-bill without GST number and extremely high price for Capacitor and Reverser. The capacitor was charged at Rs 1900/-, whereas I got to know the cost is just Rs150/-. This too stopped working in 4 days and thereafter the technician blocked my number and refused to answer my calls.
I managed to reach the owner of Hind Air Cool through a number on the "hand-written" bill and he started shouting back and abusing me when I asked him for real bill or getting a refund. When I told him I'll escalate this to police, he said do what you want, I'm not scared of anyone.
Voltas refuses to take my calls and just disconnects the call saying that please call the technician who did the repair.
