[Resolved] Voltas — Voltas AC product and customer support complaint | |||||
This is Amit Gupta. Last year (between April and May(2016), I have purchased Voltas Split AC (1.5 Ton). It is a 5 star rating product where Voltas has claimed for Electricity Saver. I have never got satisfactory performance from this AC. First of all, it's not a Electricity Saver product as electricity consumption of this AC is more than 3 star rating product of Voltas or other Company. Also, I had regular visits of technician from voltas in every 2-3 months for it's bad performance. Also, voltas customer support staff was not able to help me out in a best way. This year again my AC stopped working. First I called a technician who has informed me about PCB fault and needs to replace. The technician informed me that the price for replacing the PCB is 3000rps. I called his supervisor and he settled it for 2500. The technician has informed me that we also need to do a coating in new PCB for its protection which I never heard before. Now, another technician came and I especially asked him about the concept of coating. He informed me that it's not required and suggest me not to got for it. I do not understand where is the GAP. I always received wrong information from voltas. Also, if you called on voltas customer support they only registered a complaint and send a technician, They never addressed your concern and moreover, they do not share any price information of the equipment and do not have any technical support. Whatever you complain to them, they just simply create a technician ticket for visit. So, the second technician arrived and the PCB unit he came up with was looking like a old one and even it was not under in packing unit. When I asked why it is looking old, he said we have many equipment kept in our center which is why it is looking old. Also, it was not correct PCB unit of my voltas so he was unable to repair it. I especially bought this AC for my mother as she is very aged and can't live in more temperature. It's about to complete a month we do not have our AC in working condition. There was no compensation for us from voltas. I got a call today(Thursday July 6th 2017) that lady suggested me to gor repair. The voltas technician suggested me not to go for repair as there is no guarantee for it. They even do not have any guarantee or warranty for new PCB unit. Now, its been a long time I am living without fresh air and having lot of issues with Voltas. So, in short it's like a pain the moment I bought this AC and still having trouble. No compensation for customer as well as no timel response. The last excuse is that part is available but they are not doing sales for it as per new GST. Do nt know what they exactly want. Need help.
