[Resolved] Voltas — Worst AC service. | |||
I have purchased Voltas 1.5ton 5star AC from Great Eastern Retail on 07/09/2021. I explicitly told them that i need the delivery ASAP as my ON-Campus Interview was going on and it was really tough for me to concentrate on the interview with the scorching heat in my room. They did their part and delivered it within a day. Now comes the 'Great' service by voltas, Service engineer visited my home on 10/09/2021, AC and outdoor unit needed to be installed on the First floor, I told them to start the work with Indoor Unit, as i have arranged a ladder for outdoor unit and it was on the way. They told me that they cannot install the outdoor unit with normal ladder (without even looking at the ladder), and told me to make a ladder by tying bamboo sticks, (even though my neighbouring building's Outdoor unit is placed on the same place and it was placed using normal ladder). I agreed and told them I'll arrange the ladder made out of bamboo sticks before 13/09/2021 and asked them to do the installation on 13th, they agreed. On 13th I called them to install the AC and they denied saying that they cannot provide the service due to excess workload, and said that they'll install the AC on 14th. On 14th they called me and told me again that they cannot install the AC due to Heavy Rainfall (even though it was just drizzling) I agreed, and they promised to do the installation on 15th. On 15th I called them again, and they again denied the service assuming that bamboo must have been wet from yesterday's rainfall and they said that they'll not work standing on wet bamboo sticks(even when i told them that it is completely dry from the sunlight since morning). Let's see with what excuse they'll come up with on 16th. I have given 2 interviews during this period and my mind was on wiping the excess sweat thanks to 'Voltas amazing service'. I'll request Voltas to choose their service provider carefully because most of them are third party. Was this information helpful? | |||
