My name is Suman, and my admission number is HPGD/JL23/1955. I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding the recent cancellation of my viva presentation held on 28th June 2025.
As per the guidelines, the PPT presentation was to be prepared using topics from WeTube, WeLounge, and Newswire. I strictly followed these instructions and successfully completed my WeTube section. I then proceeded with content from WeLounge, as per the standard practice. However, during the viva, the faculty informed me that my topic was “out of syllabus” and abruptly cancelled my viva, instructing me to prepare a new project and reschedule once again.
This is extremely disheartening and unfair. I have already rescheduled my viva 2-3 times since the 1st semester, each time paying a rescheduling fee of ₹600. It feels like the system is designed more to collect fees than to support students. Despite following all the prescribed steps, my efforts and time were disregarded without proper justification.
I request the institution to:
Review the decision to cancel my recent viva, considering that I followed the instructions provided.
Waive the ₹600 rescheduling fee in this case, as the cancellation was not due to any fault on my part.
Provide clearer and more consistent communication regarding topic selection to prevent such issues in the future.
I hope my concerns will be taken seriously and that appropriate action will be taken to support students fairly and transparently.
