I had enrolled in the college for the course Post-Graduation Diploma in Management (Hybrid) for Batch JL22, Admission No. HPGD/JL22/2431, and had also paid the fees for the entire semester, for which they provided a loan through Early Salary. However, due to financial constraints, I am unable to fund my son's education, and as a result, I am unable to continue my education; I have not even attended any lectures or exams. I do not anticipate that the entire fee will be refunded, but I do anticipate that the fees for the remainder of the tri-semester will be refunded.
Please cancel my admission and refund my fee so that I can pay off my student loan.

Welingkar Institute of Management customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
With reference to the refund of Fee Policy, we would like to state that as per AICTE Process Hand Book 2023-24 –
“In case, if a student leaves after joining the Course and if the vacated seat is consequently filled by another student by the last date of admission, the Institution must refund the Fee collected after a deduction of the processing Fee of not more than ₹1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) and proportionate deductions of monthly Fee and hostel rent, where applicable”
Our PGDM Batch for Academic Year 2023-24, commenced on August 2nd, 2023 (Mumbai) and August 3rd, 2023 (Bengaluru).
If any student cancelled his / her admission after the commencement of the course, as per the AICTE’s rule we deducted Rs. 1000/-, as processing fee + proportionate deduction of monthly fee and hostel rent (if applicable) from his total fees. Details of it is as below:

If any student cancelled his/her admission after one month from the start of the course and before cut-off date for refund of fee i.e., 15th Sept, 2023 and seat is filled subsequent, then the deduction is double (for two months, proportionate deductions of monthly Fee and hostel rent), calculated, as per the table given above.
Please note that there shall not be any refund after the Cut-off date i.e., 15th Sept. 2023
