West Bengal State Electricity Board — Complaint Against Egra Customer Care Centre

Respected Sir, Thanking you for your prompt reply to make me soothing my hurt. Painfully I write to inform you that the previous disclosure regarding irregularity & negligencies to reading the electric consumption and intentionally harassed the industrial consumers by Asstt. Engineer & Station Manager of Egra Customer Care Centre of Govt. West Bengal. After sending the mail with details to you and most of the Hon’ble persons and officers of Department of Electricity, Govt. of West Bengal, I have received a mail from the Hon'ble Minister-in-Charge, Department of Power & Non Conventional Energy Sources, Govt. of West Bengal on [protected] at 9.00 p.m. On the fine morning at Sunday,[protected], I have received a phone from a corner and the person, Regional Manager (RM) from Purba Medinipur District, Electricity Department. He assure me that the meter reader ( Asstt. Engineer & Station Manager of Egra Customer Care Centre) also meet with me on Monday at 10.00 o clock and close the matter with the help of both side discussion. But I became astonished that after a long time, firstly two unknown person, and secondly four unknown person meet with me and request to smooth ending the matter. I disagree with them as because they was not a reader. I request him to write out and correction the meter reading card duly signed by them. But they refused my proposal. Lastly, The Asstt. Engineer & Station Manager, Egra Customer Care Centre called a meeting in presence of the Viudyut Karmadhaksha & Savapati, Egra-II Panchayet Samity, Egra with us at B.D.O. Office on[protected] at 2.00 p.m. But the meeting vested for their absence. It is also a wonderful matter that what a bravery, encouragement of Asstt. Engineer and Station Manager of Egra Customer Care Centre to deny the Regional Manager’s order Suddenly, I seen that after a few time another 4 person with two civic police and one police personal came to my home and create more pressure to ending the mater. After short discussion had with me two unknown persons from them correction the meter reading card duly signed without any official stamp. It is a question raised that why the Asstt. Engineer & Station Manager of Egra Customer Care Centre taking help the Police personal and local Police Station. Is he try to showing fear with the help of Local Police Station? Is it the right way to solve the problem? Is it helpful to me and a Industrial consumer ? Is it a safe position to helpful a Industrial consumer. On the other side, I have two connections (STW) (one permanent (Meter No.- [protected] and another temporary(Application ID-[protected]) for my Sallow of which Bill totally paid in due time. Once a time suddenly motor of this sallow (permanent connection) is burnt for overheating. So I pray to the Asstt. Engineer and Station Manager of Egra Customer Care Centre to cut out the power temporarily. For this year I pray again to the Asstt. Engineer and Station Manager of Egra Customer Care Centre to connect the power temporarily for another Sallow which is running condition (details copy enclosed for your reference). But suddenly the Asstt. Engineer and Station Manager visit the places and start a case against the permanent sallow, which is now under maintenance. I also pray to him before his visit for discontinuation temporarily. I have no sufficient balance to maintain two sallow. So I pray to him for temporary connection. But, ignored my prayer, get a opportunity to attenuation and put up a case against my stopped permanent sallow connection. After put up this case against me, the office issue a temporary quotation. The payment against the quotation already been paid by me. So a question raised that how is it possible? My, conscience has been hurt. I am seeking your suggestion in this regard in return mail. I am Basanta Kumar Sahu, 80yrs old.Few days ago i was meet to you and commitment & noted on my application that infront my house new 33KV pole heght to be extended before the new line fixing in the pole.But 3days ago contractor was extended the pole just besides infront of my house.When i was asked, he told me'i do not know about it.' 33KV electric line has been fixing .So please do the immediate action and obliged me, also help me.
