Avoid buying their products

AVOID BUYING WESTERN DIGITAL PRODUCTS

WD has the most pathetic support system ever. They don’t even have an office or a helpdesk anywhere in India. THEIR DAMN DELHI HELP LINE OPEN FROM 10 to 6 FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY AND ALWAYS ENGAGED. I HAVE TRIED TO CALL THEM FOR LAST 3 MTHS, BUT THEIR DAMN LINES ARE ALWAYS ENGAGED AND STILL NOT RECEIVED REPLACEMENT OF MY 320 GB ELEMENT PORTABLE HDD.
HERE IS THE NEW RMA NO[protected]...

Not providing replacement since 2 months

I have already submitted complaint against western digital regarding same issue,( Portable HDD replacement), I have been continuosly following up with company via telephony and via emails but most of the time either their toll free numbers are busy or I get response that all the customer care executives are busy and will take my call shortly but nobody do so.

Hard Drive Replacement

I purchased a Western Digital Hard Disk in May 2009 for Backup purpose.
I tried to format the Disk sometime on later 2010 and it got corrupt.
WD provides a 5 years replacement guarantee on external hard disk and hence I requested for same, which was done promptly and it was a good experience.
But, within a month, the new Hard Disk got corrupt, when I tried to format it.
I raised a replacement request on 19th Feb'...

Warranty Replacement not giving

I have purchase a 500 GB WD HDD it was working fine but suddenly its stopped working and I logged complain in their site (RMA 82439403 on 14/01/2011).

After I have so many email, they told me that your HDD send in Speed Man Courier docket no : 21800274, which was dispatched on[protected], when I was try to track docket no (which was carried by speed man courier services) it become invalid !! I was in big shock.

Not yet received replacement

My WD external HDD was not getting detected by the system only after 7 days of purchase so I surrendered the HDD to Intervo shop at T.Nagar Chaennai for replacement..My RMA application no. is 82511475....they are telling that they have already delivered the replacement courier...but it had been 23 days...but i still didnt......

VERY POOR SERVICE- From customer care

Western digital India ltd.. should be punished for being so irresponsible, i filed a complaint for replacement of 1tb wd cavier green hard drive, but till date no pick up was done, moreover after making several calls to the call centre they keep on telling me to send the product via courier from my money.. what a stupid company...

hard disk not getting detected

Worst Customer care

Hi,

I bought a brand new hard disk of 1 Tera byte from a authorized dealer on 28th January 2011. The moment I installed the hard disk, a strange sound started coming out from the hard disk. Later I found that the hard disk is full of bad sectors. I got surprised at the kind of quality testing WD guys are doing before shipping out their product! But I have more to get surprised in the store!

replacement not done

when i have kept a mail to customer care in last 15 days back they have responded for my question and replied that with a couple of days we wil sent back your replacement hard disk but they have sent a parcel naming 80 GB hard disk and i think there was misprinting was taken...

after sales service

Created RMA#82074725 for my faulty portable hard disk on 31/07/10, then after many email correspondence and calling, I a recevied mail saying your new HDD HAS BEEN DESPATCHED on 25/09/10,then they told me that it was a courier problem and a new BOD has been generated and u will receive the hdd in few days, from that day i have been calling them but they are ignoring my calls....
