I have a mybook live Duo that WD advertised to trade in due to recent security issue.

On July 13th, a trade in request was created on WD portal - Request number[protected], providing all the required details for the trade in.

Since July 13, i've followed up with WD on 19th, 20th, 26th of July and the only information i have so far is someone at the higher level in WD eviewing the request.

This is very poor service. Request a quick closure to the trade-in request

    Dear Sir,

    This letter is to complain about a WD external Hard drive that I purchased on-line through flip kart in the year 2019, at Hyderabad. Since the day i purchased this product i have been facing detection problem and iam sure i have received manufacturing faulty hard drive, because of pandemic i didn't see any service centers operative.

    I paid money through my debit card on-line in Flip kart and my external hard drive is still under warranty.

    Iam writing this because one of your technical team executive has intimated over the call that i will be receiving refurbished external hard drive in replacement. Why will i be receiving a refurbished model when i paid for new external hard drive and without any or much usage with manufacturing defect returning back to WD support?, Below are my WD drive details:

    Defective Model Number: WDBS4B0020BBL-WESN

            Hello this is Miss Piyali sharma i brought a WD External hard disk drive through flipkart India. i rearly used this WD HDD but now the data in the HDD got stucked and not getting initialized/ not detected in the computer/Laptop. It's still under warranty hence i request you people to get me a solution to this or else replace the device with new one.

              I brought wd 5tb my passport ultra (wxw2ab0hyhf5)

              I brought wd 5tb my passport ultra (wxw2ab0hyhf5) (wdbftm0050bbl-wesn) from amazon on dated 15th may 2021.

              I registered the product on the western digital website.

              I kept my year-old data on the above-mentioned drive.

              Set a password.

              Now when i trying to open it, an error msg showing your password is not a valid one.

              I would like to open up the drive. And recover...

              While running the hard disk it will makes a noise and unable to detect sometimes and heating a lot. Also unable to copy, delete or edit the files.

                  I am using 1.5 tb external hard drive of your company . I had just (April 2021) buy it by flipkart and using it. And data loss two time. Whenever I am storing the data in drive after some day it is not showing there . The folder and file were empty. I had loss all my data because of that. I am using this hard drive in mac in exFat format. Plz provide me details.

                    I initiated a warranty call with WD on Feb 11. I had a follow up call on Feb 17, again on Feb 22 and again on March 22. The RMA/Case Number is[protected]. I need a replacement enclosure as the fan on my current unit is malfunctioning. I was told by "Chris J" on Feb 22 that I would have to mail my unit with the drives to WD as "removing the drives from the enclosure would void the warranty" As the drives are not only removable but hot swappable, Chris J does not know what he is talking about.

                    I called again on 4/5 at 8AM PDT and spoke with David. He assured me I would receive an email within a few hours with data on when I could expect a replacement enclosure with drives. I would then swap out my drives and put them into the new enclosure, and send you back your new drives with the defective enclosure. I also requested to speak with a manager to convey my issues with several customer service representatives, especially Chris J. I was assured a manager would call back before the end of the day Monday. a It is now Wednesday 10:09AM PDT and I have not received an email nor a call from a manager.

                    I want this resolved, and I want to speak to a manager, not a "Level 2 supervisor as I did on March 22.

                          According to your Shipment Confirmation, the shipment date was 23rd of February 2021. The shipping company is UPS stated that I would receive the SSD on Wednesday 24th of February 2021 the estimated time being 09:00-13:00. I did not receive the SSD and I am still waiting for the SSD.

                          I went to UPS web site to find out when the SSD is to be delivered. The information was confusing which did not make sense, hence I shall waiting a long for the SSD to be delivered !

                          The SSD is to be installed into a project I am working on and I need the SSD urgently. Therefore I want a full refund of £49.99 so I can purchase the SSD from Amazon which will be delivered within 24 hours.

                          Please could you respond quickly.

                            Ordered a 12td internal hard drive yesterday promised 24 hour delivery.
                            it is not here yet, i have been patient. this is a breach of promise here in PA! under law i am entitled to the entire cost of the drive at no cost at all. if western digital breaks that law, , , , i will sue the company for 500, 000 us dollars if the ordered product does not arrive by midnight tonight est standard time. and believe me i have the resoure to do so. I need that drive to do special work. a promise is a promise,

                                Again and again issue in external hard drive my important data is in this hard drive. I want my data and i dont want to pay a money for data recovery. Its a falut of wd company and i will have a legal action on wd india becuase its going on 2nd time. I have lost my data again and again wd company only replace hard drive this is not a solution for coustomer. Why i have purchase a external har drive becuase i want secure my data .But again my external hard drive not working.Please look into this matter on urgent basic.I want my important data back.

                                      I bought the hdd on 19.9.2020 and from the day my drive is making severe noise while writing and it's extremely slow in writing. I was complained this to the retail store where i bought that and they told that might not be a complaint and now it's increasing noise and getting slow day by day. I stored lots of data to it. I don't need to lose that, but i need to replace the drive, because that showing the complaint from the first day. I hope you will take immediate action on this.in hope...
