I'd like to help you based on your post, you may try to create a new partition on the drive where it shows "unallocated". Now the drive is in Unformated state which means there is no file format on the drive. You may try to right click on the disk where it shows unallocated and from there you can create a new partition on the drive. If the data is not there you may try to run the data recovery software to recover the data as you have done before. I'd also suggest you not to copy paste any data on the drive because this will overwrite and it will be hard to recover the data even for the data recovery softwares.If you want to use the drive on your TV you may have to check the compatibility on the TV and format it in the supporting file format which can be FAT32 Or NTFS.

I'd also suggest to take backup of important data in future.
