      This drive failed during the warrantee period and I returned it under a RMA (I had to pay postage). WD confirmed that they received the returned drive on 30 November 2021. It now very nearly two months later and nothing has happened. The RMA status simple says "Received / Processing". I've contacted WD twice. The first time they said it was "global supply problems" and asked me to wait a little...

      My name is Abhay Satyarthi, I had a 2TB My Passport hard disk under warranty. 3 Months ago it stopped working. I have followed all the procedure and created a RMA for product replacement. I have created RMA on 11 Nov 2021 and send product to the Bangalore location which reached on 23 Nov 2021.

      Now today is 20th Jan 2022 and I did not receive my product I have contacted WD many times and their only response is "I will escalate...

      My data is getting corrupted after few days, thumbnail are visible from temp folder in hdd but size is 0 bytes.
      Definately data is getting corrupted in hdd.

      On replacement I need to take backup of existing 1tb of data so i need new hdd for backup or atlist any online drives for few days for backup.

      So please help me I have attached the issue.

      Replacement I am ready but existing working copy of 1tb I have to take backup than only I will be able to hand this hdd, and I don't have any drive which can store 1tb of data.

      Check the thumbnail pic generated because it was present after I copied inhdd but after checking after few days 184 files shows 0 size. Now I am in fear of losing more data so plz provide me the replacement first I will copy the existing data and handover my bad hdd

        Product (portable hard drive) never worked. Sent it back since it was still under warranty. Received by company nov 19 and still no replacement sent as of 12/27/21. I've contacted them four times and every time they tell me it's escalated and I'll be updated in 1-2 business days only to have complete silence from them.
        They need to stand by their warranty....

        I have applied for RMA for my WD two ssd (120gb sata ssd rma no: [protected] and 240gb m.2, rma: [protected]) drive and i've sent the drive through courier and it's been a month now, I have been calling since a month now regarding update of my return and you guys keep saying you'll get a call from our superior and i never get the call. The executive rough behavior with me. i'm in need of drive and you guys keep playing with your CUSTOMER....

        I purchased a WD hard disk (S/N No. WX42A51FNDCF) on Amazon.in on 08/10/2021 for Rs.4589.10. The drive seemed to be working fine but the extended test in the WD drive utility and the dashboard apps got stuck at 90% and it stays there indefinitely. I have tried chatting with them and emailing them for the last couple months but they don't seem to take it seriously. They reply to me once every couple days and suggest me to repeat the same tasks...

          Received a brand new 2 TB Western Digital hard drive from the Western digital store on 9/8/21. Failed on 10/13/21, after 33 days o[censored]se. Was forced to pay for shipping and sent it back under RMA. has been in their hands almost a month and no sign of a replacement. Was lied to in a chat with customer support. They claimed the drive would be shipped in 2 business days and it has not been shipped....

          I sent my two My Cloud PR 4100 for warrantee replacement because the machines stop downloading apps on the machines. One Machine serial number WNAQ29480072 RMA: 88587317 and the other serial number WNAQ29330003 RMA: 88608180. Western has had one machine since the 1st week in July of 2021 and the other August of 2021. The reps are not knowledgeable and they say nothing. I would like to have the machines replaced or given a refund because the support department are not honest players.

            I am very much impressed with WD products while receiving the feedback's from friends and service from the company side. But my side facing major issues while using the best branded product o f WD. I don't no how, why i am facing these types of abnormalities using a such good product.             I had an issue with my WD Element 1.5TB portable hard disk to which I have handed over the faulty disk to the collection center on 17th of September 2021.
            They provided me with the RMA number- [protected] and informed me that the replacement disk will be delivered within 10 days.
            The status of my RMA still has not been updated and still shown as processing.
            When ever I communicate with Support Team they assure the issue to be resolved within 2-3 days.
            The same reply has been provided to me more than 4 times till now.
            But still there is no updates regarding my RMA.
