Hi eveyone!! I had bought a external hard disk from western digital from online shopping as i was getting it cheap from market. Now my hdd has got bad sectors and its still under guarantee. I contacted online shopping site customer care and they say that i have to send it myself to western digital for replacement. Please tell me how to do that? Was this information helpful? | |||

I hope you are doing well, have you performed any test on the drive to check if the hard drive is faulty? You may test the drive on another PC before sending it for RMA.
I'd recommend you to run Data Lifeguard Diagnostics and see what is the result.

If the drive fails the test you may register the drive for replacement (RMA) from our website.
