Westside — membership card fraud at westside(avoiding customer response)

I visited westside (University road, pune) on 30th sept and did some shopping. At the billing counter the person asked me if i am interested in the membership card and told oct is your birthday month so you will get 20% discount on your shopping in oct. I opted for it. The person told me it will get activated in 7-10 days.

I again visited westside (Fc road, pune) on 12th oct and at the billing counter the guy said the offer is not visible yet and it takes 15-20 days and will definitely get activated by 20th oct. I had to purchase the items without any discount.

Now recently when i visited westside (Seasons mall, pune) on 22nd oct, hoping for that 20% birthday month discount and after doing my shopping at the billing counter the person again said the offer is not yet visible. After speaking to the manager, he told that the card takes minimum of 45 days to get activated. I was very frustrated and when i asked to take back the card and return my membership fees he said that can only be done from the store from where you took it.

This is sheer fraud that is going on in westside and they are pandering upon the customers giving them fake offers to sell their memberships.

I want to get an compensation for the loss of time and efforts that gone in vain.

I raised the same complaint a couple of days ago. They asked for contact number and westside card number and stopped responding after that.
