My 1.5 ton Ac is covered by an annual maintenance contract. I lodged a complaint on 26th April since it was not functioning . I was given complaint numberGB [protected].The technician came on 27th April and told me that the compressor is defective and the switch panel of the Ac is not functionig. He did some temporary repair and told me to use the AC and that he would ring me up on 28th morning to check the status. The compressor stopped functioning after 2 to 3 hours. Since no one contacted me I lodged another complaint on the morning of 28th April giving all these details. No one came, so I gave a reminder in the evening. ON both ocassions I was assured that an urgent request has been sent. No one has either contacted me or come to attend to the problem. This callous attitude whrein no one has attended to the complaint for the past 96 hours and we have had to sleep without the Ac for 2 nights speaks volumes of the efficiecy of a company of your repute. I request that the matter be investigated and the Ac be repaired at the earliest.

Whirlpool — poor response of complaint

We have bought a 310L maxigerator new dark grey 3s and its product code is 11086. Several times we have repaired it as it want some thing or other after every few months.We have complaint against it a few times earlier also ,but no serious reply uptill.Even now the body of the refrigerator is also deteriorating .

Whirlpool AC — leaking water in indoor unit

I bought Whirlpool 1.5 ton 2 star AC a month ago from Adeswar showroom, Karkhana, Secunderabad. water is leaking from the indoor unit heavily. I complained to thecompany and the service engineer came but there was no use. indoor unit is leaking water

    I purchased Whirlpoo refrigerator 185l L in January 2006.
    At the time of installation demo, your engineer strongly recommended to use of Whirlpool Duro Max stabilizer for the refrigerator. Based on his suggestion, we asked him to deliver the same which he delivered at the price of Rs.675/= on 31 January 2007 which has been given seven years warranty. Since then, this stabilizer was working satisfactorily. But for the las one month the same is not working for which I complained number of times against the mobile no. [protected]. Lastly a couple of weeks back your customer service centre has sent one engineer named as Mohan (his mobile no.[protected]) for replacing the stabliser. After attending the complaint he started saying that the same model is not existing, not being manufactured so the same can not be replaced but an upgraded stabliser will be repleced for which charges are to beared by the consumer. I clearly do not understand by me that once the stabliser is given 07yrs warranty, why should I bear the excess chargess if the company it self has stopped the manufacturing of the same model. The engineer left back by taking a photocopy of the bill for showing to the mananger. Weeks passed but no solution has been taken for the problem.

    As of now, the status is same, no resolution/response to above problems...

    This is the height of frustration that a customer can sustain with these kind of irresponsible companies and their networks...

    I have purchased Whirlpool duro MAX stabilizer on 15th April 2013 from NIHARIKA, PATNA SUPER MARKET, FRAZER ROAD, PATNA. Just after one month stabilizer stoped proper working andalways show Lo Voltage.But when it beaten by hammer, immidiate become in proper manner. I want to lodge a complaint but never attended by customercare on tel. no.[protected] despit 40-50 times tried.

    Whirlpool Duro Max stabilizer - for this, no stars to be given. that much worst brand. please customers don't buy Whirlpool Duro Max stabilizer. It is very, very... ...worst brand. if you buy, it will spoil ur fridge definitely.

      I have complaint against Whirlpool Company and its servicing Executives/Engineers, who take customers for a ride. I have brought this Whirlpool 0.8 ton AC in Chennai, less than 9 months ago. Suddenly it stopped cooling around three weeks back. I caled Whirlpool customer care, and after repeated calls to their call centers, was able to get a 10 minute visit from their executive on April 6, 2008. This executive informed that my AC's problem is gas leakage and the it has to go to workshop to get fixed. He also said that a different executive will visit me the next day to collect the AC for workshop.
      I have never heard from Whirlpool again. I have called Whirlpool call center in Chennai more than 20 times since then, and they have only given me number of another Whirlpool executives Kumar ([protected]) and Barathi/Sarathi([protected]), who have only given me false assurances of coming and picking the AC, since then. They have asked me to come home from office early on various days (I am a working women) and have not turned up or call. They have also stopped taking my call. I am in a great fix as whom to approach for help and rectification of my problem.The AC is still under warranty period and they just want money.
      I have lost all faith in whirlpool.

      Whatever said above is 100% true. The only differnece in my case is, the AC is less than 1 month old. ACs from this company are unreliable products. Customer's pls avoid buying these brand of products and delears pls avoid taking dealership for this useless produts to avoid getting bad impression from customers. Anyway some legal action has to be taken i'm into that process
      now.

        I bought one Whirpool make washing machine vide model no H65 on 14th Apr, 08 from one of its Dealer M/s. Khosla Electronics, Raja S.C.Mallik Road, Garia, Opp.Garia Andrews College, Kolkata. vide Cash Memo No.GWM 5978 Dtd.14.04.2008.

        The dealer delivered a damaged machine on 15.04.2008 which was noted down by copany's service man when came for installation and reported to the aforesaid company and dealer too. Since then, till date there is replacment received inspite of repeated followups at dealer's place. Moreover, they misdealt everytime whenever contacted.

        Request help immediately.

        This is ridhanya from coimbatore, Tamilnadu... I totally agree wit wat u say.. i bought a whirpool fully automatic Washin machine durin Dec 2008 which created lots of problems.. i was upset with the condition of the machine and also wit the poor service of Whirpool for the past 3 months.. Whenever i called up the customer care and made a complaint reg the non workin of my washing machin, they told that they wud immediately attend by sendin a service executive, but never turned up at anytime.. Many times i was left unattended even without a proper reply.. Due to frustration, i consulted an advocate and asked for a legal advice in order to file a consumer case against the whirpool.. Through him, i sent a legal notice... Surprisingly, within two days of the receipt of the legal notice wich i sent throu this lawyer, the service men came to my house and made my washin machine work properly..Thanks to the advocate...! Now my machine works properly without any problem..

        Whirlpool India — washing machine delivery not received

        i have purchased whirpoool washing machine booked at exibhition on 9.5.10 bill no.[protected] dt.
        9.5.10 dealer vasanth & co. chennai in exibhition they said delivery time 24 hours. but till today (7.00 pm) i
        have not received washing machine even after 100 telephones made to dealer

        i want my machine by tommorow by 11.00 pm otherwise i will cancel

          With due respect, I want to draw ur kind attention towards the compaint of my Whirlpool Top Loader Fully Automatic Washing Machine purchased it on 09.12.2006.

          I have made several complaint to ur customer care (on[protected] as well as authorized service centre but of no use. Everytime when I called them they said that the engineer will come today tomm at this time at that time all lame excuses and by end of the day there is no news of engineer. Its been more than 3 days days now . My machine is under warranty then also they are giving this service.
          So i am very frustrated and facing mental harassment bcz i m facing great trouble with all of this procedure.

          Waiting ur positive response.

            I have Purchased whirlpool refrigerator 250 ltr. (double door) dated on 12/04/2008 (FULL CASH PAYMENT) from M/S. FAIR ELECTRONICS, (BHANDUP - WEST), i got the delivery on 13/04/2008, that full day refrigerator cooling was OK. next day only it means on 14/04/2008 its stop cooling. now its not responding at all, so on 14/04/2008 I call to the manager of M/S. FAIR ELECTRONICS, regarding this problem so he told me that he will send technical person within one day only, so we wait at home that full day but nobody come till date to check the problem.

            today also we call to that shop to send technical person but i got the answer today i. e. on 17/04/2008, whirlpool its self send their technician to check the problem, since 15, 16, & 17 we are calling them to visit our home but nobody come till date. Even we not get the after sale service from whirlpool sales department.

            me n my husband we both are working as we cannot take the leave every time. but these people not even manage to send their technician to check the problem. they not even send their technicians to introduce the functions after saling their product.

            so i got very good exp. of this new brand whirlpool refregerator.

            ITS STOP WORKING WITHIN ONE DAY.

            Whirlpool Refrigerator — Coling coil is not working

            I am M.Suresh residing at No 6, KRISH APTS, Balambal Nagar II street, Virugampakkam, Chennai-92. Complaint have been registered with Whirl Pool complaint cell on 07.01.08 but so for complaint have not been addressed due to non availability of the spares at the Chennai office, it is learnt from the officials that they have sent a requisition to the H.O but there was no reply it seems.
            Please kindly help the concerned executive to attend the problem with the right spares in time and also me for the quick recovery from the complaints.

            Whirlpool Refrigerator — Fridge stopped working

            As soon as i put the Fridge socket into the Powe Board, entire flat's MCv gets tripped.I tries showing to an electrician, and he say's that the timer has been short circuited.
            I think its a problem wires being s.c while being in transit

            Whirlpool, refrigerator — stopped cooling and icing.

            I had got the gas refilled last year only on paid basis and compressor being in warranty got replaced. Now summers have just started and refrigerator has stopped cooling and icing.

            Whirlpool/ refrigerator — refrigerator not working

            i have puchase refrigeator in the month of june 2009 from authorised dealer . after one month my refrigrator are not working i have registered a complain on 29/07/2009 at whirpool service centre[protected] after that a engineer has visited at my house & found that my refrigeator compresser is not working and compresser has some manifacturing defect and he given me assurance to change my refrigetor compresser within two working days but unfortunattly till now company has not take any care.
            again i call today ( 06.07.2009) at local service centre but his response has not satisfactory .

            Whirlpool Refrigerator — Stops working often

            I had purchased Whirlpool refridgerator (F200 GEN XL PREMIER STEEL) on 13 /5/09 from FAIRDEAL AGENCIES, hazratganj, lucknow. Few days after the purchase it stopped working,for which i complained in customer care center of whirlpool. The person who came to attend the complaint told that there is no problem with refridgerator and this problem is due to low voltage and asked to use voltage stabalizer,i would like to inform that there is no such problem of voltage in our locality,and manufacturer also claims that NO STABALIZER is needed, After that there have been several such episodes, i tried to complaint again but i could not contact.
            kindly look in to the matter

              Whirlpool India Ltd. / White Magic Wasing Machine — Authorised service centre not entertaining my complain no. PT-0807003392 dt.30/08/2007

              Dear Sir,
              I had purchased a White Magic washing m/c. of your company on 14/8/03 with two years warranty. The warranty was got extended again for two years vide application form cum receipt no. HPO1-195192 at 13/4/06. The aforesaid washing m/c. was sent to your authorized service centre for chemical cleaning, depositing the charge Rs 350/- to the Patna workshop on 31/8/2007 vides complain no. PT-[protected] dt.30/08/2007.
              Knowing the performance & reliability of your product & company I went to prefer to buy your product keeping aside to other products.
              At service centre the m/c. was inspected by service engineer and I was told that “Agitator & Lid switch” needs replacement due to their poor performance.
              Initially, i.e... On 31/08/07, I was assured that within a week of time troubles of my washing m/c. will be sorted out. And thereafter only weeks went on changing. Now it has become a dream only to me that I would get my washing m/c. in operating condition.
              It is very sad to note that the authorized service centre is not at all paying any attention to get rectified complaining of my washing m/c. Instead, it enjoys running customers pillar to post. Even after several telephonic and physical reminders till 06/10/07/2007 neither I got my washing machine nor any satisfactory reply from Patna office or workshop i.e. service centre.
              At this fade-up juncture, I would like to draw your kind attention & hope that you will look into the matter & try to resolve it expeditiously.
              Please do the needful as early as possible and oblige.

              Whirlpool Refrigerator 340 Icebag Delux Steel — Gift that was promised while purcase still not received

              I purchased a refrigerator from das camp branch. its 340 ice bag dlx model and i paid 22500 rs for that and they promised me that i will get a pendant worth 2300 rs free with it. I purchasded that on 17 sep 2007 and i still have no t received the pendant, whenever i call das or visit them they advise me that whirlpool has not sent the same so wait for 4 days.its been almost 20 days now. I spoke with mr vivek ( sales executive pune division) ph no [protected].he said i will receive that by next saturday.I think its just running arond the bush.I want to know if i will really get that gift that was promised to me when i bought the fridge.and why did das charge me 133 rs for that gift?
              i have required bills with me.

              i have tried to call whirl pool at[protected] and 60008558 since 3 days but not able to contact anyone as it says no not reachable.
              The dealer( das) should have informed me about company's past record of not giving gifts at time .if i would have known then i would have thought twice to purchase that fridge
              I spoke with Mr navel at das camp branch he said this co has a bad record of giving gifts. and he advised me to call vivek ..sales exec of whrilpool and at [protected],, he told me to advise him whatever vivek tells me .
              even vivek could not give me the phone nos of whirlpool pune division...

              Whirlpool India Refrigerator — Inadequate after sale services

              Dear Sir,

              Subject:- Deficient service after sale of product & consumer harassment

              It is to inform you that I purchased the “Fusion Maxigerator 6 sence” of your company from “Next “ retail shop ludhiana on 9th April,07 vide bill no BTC/07-08/74.
              But the company did not bother to depute any person to my residence for installation and demonstration of the refrigerator.
              On 21st September.07, the cooling in the refrigerator stopped all of a sudden & I lodged a complaint with Next retail shop which, in turn, forwarded the complaint to Whirlpool service center who charged Rs.2000 for replacing the freezer despite covered under warranty period & fridge was delivered to me on 30th September,07 i.e. after 9 days. The detail is as under-
              • The representative of the service centre visited my residence on 24th September,07 & after inspection could not locate the fault & informed that the instrument has to be shifted to workshop for locating the fault.
              • On 25th September,07 , he informed on phone that there is a cut mark by knife in the rear portion of the base of the freezer & the freezer has to be replaced. The service centre refused to replace the freezer & insisted me to pay Rs.2000 . As the refrigerator was in their possession. I had no other alternative but to pay the money.
              • On 28th September,07, the service station owner informed me on phone that the refrigerator has been repaired.
              • I went to service station at 7:00p.m. & requested the owner to send the refrigerator to my residence. The owner asked me to pay Rs.2000 to which I agreed with the request that the fridge should be sent immediately. But he informed me that it will be sent next day.
              • I paid him Rs.1000 with the promise that the balance of Rs.1000 will be paid as soon as the refrigerator reaches my residence to which he agreed.
              • But on 29th September,07 , he didn’t send it & when I phoned him in the evening, he insisted that the refrigerator will only be sent after I pay him the balance amount at his office. As I have no other alternative , I went to his office on 30th September,07 paid him the balance amount & then he sent the fridge to my residence.
              In the above context, I may bring into notice the following points-
              1. It was the duty of your company to depute some qualified person for installation of refrigerator at my residence.
              2. We are 3 members in my house & all are literate & know how to use the electronic goods.
              3. Further we don’t require any ice in the month of September when there is no much heat.
              4. If, for a moment, it is supposed that it was a cut made by knife, how it can be made at the rear end of the base of freezer especially when it is covered with a utensil containing ice. As such the plea of service station that the cut been made by knife in freezer is not maintainable.
              5. Moreover, the representative did not locate the fault at my residence & informed me about it only when the refrigerator reached their workshop.

              As such, I had to pay Rs.2000 for no fault of mine though refrigerator was in warranty period & it was duty of service station to replace the defected part but he rather made me responsible for it. Further the service station didn’t send refrigerator to my place even after payment of Rs.1000 with the promise that the balance will be paid after refrigerator reaches my house.
              In the light of above, the company has failed to meet its obligation towards consumers during warranty period & providing after sale services. As such I lodge my claim for refund of Rs.2000 , within one month after which I will be free to knock at the door of consumer forum & claim my refund with the claim of mentally harassing the customer.

              Whirlpool Sensational Deluxe — whirlpool 3rd class compamy

              My complaint no. is ch[protected]. I never ever saw this kind of poor customer care before, not even from any local manifarer. I'd bought this washing machine before two months and on 9th dev I registered a complaint and from that day I am regularly calling your customer care at[protected] to solve my problem but no response from your side at all. Every time I call them they say this time they'll surely solve my problem. I even have last 2-3 conversation recorded on my cell. I am totally fed up. If you can fell shame on you then please do. Previously I was using Videocon W.Machine and I received pleasured service from there side, I think it was my biggest mistake that I trusted Whirlpool (You) . I am sorry but I think you cant survive in industry like this kind of poor service. I think I'll never suggest any one to buy any Whirlpool product at all. this is response after 2 month continuous harrasment by company

              has added up a new feature of creating beep sound after every half an

              hour for indicating that their is a power cut well it was the engineer

              named rajeev working in whirlpool who said that to me and the

              executive who visited in my home was mr sushil well this feature of

              inverter is not mentioned in their booklet nor in their advertisements

              think bout it that you are sleeing next to your inverter which is

              power cut. Mr rajeev told me that he will visit us again after 3-4

They Seem to have a big Communication Gap with the Local people in Bangalore .Some how, I took the number of the local people .Here they seem to be absolutely Ridiculous, there are very careless to Customers .Inspite of giving N number of Chances the Repair is still not done. And its just a matter of a small screw to be replaced.


              If by any chance any RESPONSIBLE AUTHORITIES IN WHIRLPOOL, would get back to be as a last hope .If it doesn’t happen I would spread negative Remarks to my relatives and friends.

              we bought a whirlpool washing machine top loading full automatic 8 months ago. the machine is giving trouble from day 1.the dirt remains in the cloth. new dirt gets added. clusters of washing powder are seen in the cloth. we called whirlpool mechanic through local service center .he said this is because of hard water. he himsel[censored]sed a powder of the same company (Rs.135.) within a weeks time the problem of dust remaining in cloth remains. new dirt also gets in to the cloth.
              instead of concentrating on stars to promote the product, they can try to improve the working condition of the machine too.
              I rate this as the worst washing machine of this century.
              I had been using a whirlpool washign machine. I had a complaint mentioning that it was not working properly. The person who cam for service was more interested to sell the trolley which is suited for the machine as well as a powder which is used to clean the machine.               Whirlpool Neo Sensation — No response inspite of repeated complaints

              I had purchased a Whirlpool Sensation Neo on 08.11.07. The machine was working efficiently. Last month on 29.09.08, i had registered a complaint( Complaint number- KLO[protected] that water was leaking from the machine. On 30.09.08 a mechanic attended to my problem and he informed that the rubber pad on the front loading door of the washing machine had been damaged and that was the reason owing to the leak of water. For the past one month i have been setting a reminder to the service centres and they have been giving promising assurances but i have received no encouraging response from them yet. i m in a dilemma, not knowing whom to approach for help.

              Whirlpool F 30 Elite — Repair Service refused by service Engineer

              Dear Forum,

              We have bought F 30 Elite Whirlpool Refrigerator 285 Liters on 15th May 2005 from Kapila Electronics, Janak Puri. The refrigerator has been working fine since then with no complaints till date.

              Recently on November 3 evening, the refrigerator stopped cooling both in the freezer and rest of the storage area.

              November 4 morning, I had lodged a complaint with Whirlpool Customer Care @[protected] and was provided with a ref # GB[protected] for the service to be provided between 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. I received a call from the Service Engineer, Mr Vijay Singh at 2:35 pm informed me that he will not come after 6:00 pm as it is not their working hours.

              I again informed the customer care but I was assured that the engineer will positively come for the repairs but till 7:30 pm, there was no sign of the service engineer. On calling back the customer care again, i was informed that it is too late now and the complaint will be handled next day as engineers are not available at the given time.

              My complaint to Whirlpool is that How can they fix an appointment and the service engineer can refuse a consumer for not providing a service assured by the company. It seems the service centers have no check on the engineers and they are given the liberty to take any consumer to the task despite understanding the problems of the consumer.

              I am very much disturbed by the attitude of the service engineer and poor reponse level of the customer care. None of the customer care managers were willing to come on the phone to speak to an irate consumer.

              I was promised that Mr Gurpreet, manager will call me back but no call back was recd from the customer care center.

              Please take necessary action on the service englineer as well as the monetary and financial loss beared by me of the loss of the food material stored in the refrigertor and with no cold water to drink in the heated day.

              I had purchased a Whirlpool refrigator, Fusion 230 ltrs. This was delivered on 2nd October'08. The service engineer came to install the same and detected 3 defects.
              1) The magnetic pad of the dor was not working properly.
              2) The door had a crack fron inside
              3) The body of the refrigator had dents.
              Immediately a complaint was logged with their dealer Techno City Great Eastern, and we were told that the same would be replaced in 7 to 10 days time. As usual it was not done and since then I started following up with their service engineer Mr Amit Das, Mob No. [protected], till date every time I called up he had only 1 reply that is there is no stock and the stock will take 7 days to arrive, but as on date nothing has happened. This person even does not give any email id to lodge a complaint. If the service head Mr Kalyan Bose as informed to me by Amit is not deaf or mentally disbalanced then please note that I shall be forced to move to the consumer forum and lodge a seperate case against Amit with charges u/s 420, since I have all the conversations recorded in my cell.

              Whirlpool Refrigerator Genius Premier — Whirlpool Fridge After Sales Service-Trail & Error Basis

              I bought 180 ltr genious premere fridge on 19/10/2006.Compressor is in warranty upto 2010.From 14/10/08 onwards the fridge is giving following problems
              (1) Insufficient cooling
              (2) No ICE
              (3) Over all poor performance.

              The service engineer visited on 19/10/08 and dignosed that gas has to be refilled.He refilled the gas and charged Rs.1450/-for the same.But the problem persisted.After 2 days again I called the customer service and informed the problem.In the next visit engineer replied that gas was not filled suficiently, and he again refilled the gas.There was no change in status.I called again to the customer service center and informed the proble.Third time engineer came and told us that compress was to be replaced.He replaced the same on 1/11/2008. The fridge was still in the same status.We again called the centre and new engineer came and replaced the thermostat.The engineer was asking 600/- Rs.For the same but we did not give the same as we wanted complete solution and satisfaction.Even after changung the thermostat fridge was in the same status on the contrary it stopped making ice completely. On 16/11/2008 first enginner came and changed freezer.Hope it will work now.
              CONCLISION:- Whirlpool after sales service is not at all competent to handle the things. They r doing it on trial and error basis.Whirlpool should take note of the same.

              Worthless Whirlpool / — Water overflowing outside the machine

              Complaint(Chennai) : We owned a Whirl Pool Washing machine and had problem in course of time. Precisely problem of the machine: Water uncontrollably filled continuously inside and spilled out side off the machine. So spoke to customer care and they did send a technician. He said it would be minor problem and we have paid him. The problem would occur with in 15 days to 30 days again. Again he would come and convince us saying that you are no longer going to have any problem in future. Likewise we spent more than 50% of money (Rs 6000) for fixing. But no use, later we realized that technician cheated us.

              We made up our mind to buy new washing machine and we did. The new machine is also having the same problem of water overflowing out of machine and that too within few months of purchase. We are no longer going to use Whirlpool products anymore. Whirl Pool is going to kill its business by losing customer trust.
              I also felt same way. They gave me complaint no. and said engineer will come after 4 days.
              Not sinciere in after sales service, it is very shamefl that a multinational company operates on these lines

              sir, since i purchased refrigerator model no. 6075 WRHA222G27 s no. INA o33100960 on[protected]. but the refrigerator started giving trouble after just six months and i started to approach the whirlpool service centers at jammu and after every check a new fault was arising viz. changing of the compressor three times, filling of the gas twice, thrice... & then the gas cannot even withstand for a weeks time and finally this double door refrigerator had to go for a bye pass surgery & a wire outside its body from top to bottom can be seen. in 2008 a new disease has cropped up "P C B" But it is quite pathetic to write that this disease is very serious and three PCB's has gone out of order & it is lying dead & no response from whirlpool despite a promise from incharge J&K mr. Neeraj for the last 6 months, to replace the set with 20% discount.This company should be banned & no body should use its products.Now i have left with no option to go in the consumer court since i have all the records with me.
              I am Ayappa a customer of Whirlpool from Bangalore. I own a Fp55 Aqua White magic washing machine for which I went in for a 2 year AMC which cost me Rs.2500/- ( App # HP04048576, Plan code # 1023142). I was assured that by going for an AMC I would be given preferential treatment in terms of service and support, but to my utter disappointment I have released that now released that commitments made were all false and I have been CHEATED by Whirlpool.

              The reason for my outrage is that my washing machine has not been fixed for more than 5 days from the day I have raised a ticket with Whirlpool now. I was assured that the vendor engineer would attend to the call the very same day but nobody turned up at all, after calling up the call center multiple times the vendor engineer turned up only Thursday ( After 2 long days!!) to attend the call. After investigating it was found that the PCB is faulty and needed to be replaced, but the vendor engineer informed that they do not have the spare part currently with them and they would positively get it replaced by today (8th Dec 08). Today morning when my wife called up the service center as well as the call center to confirm if the repairs would be completed by today, she was informed that the spare part is still not available and they cannot confirm when it will get replaced.


              I have a one year son at home and my wife is now forced to wash all the clothes by HAND. We are really upset about the mental and physical agony that we are going through. I am really saddened by the kind o[censored]nprofessional support and service being provided Whirlpool. I requested the service center to provide me with the contact numbers of higher authorities but nobody obliged

              I never knew that i am in the distinguished company of scores of victims of whilrpool india's dismal lack of service until i watched this website. i have called up whirlpool call centre any number of times since i lodged my complaint on december 25, 08. everytime the reply is a polite 'i am sorry. i must apologise for the inconvenience 'our engineer will visit you within 24 hours on a priority basis'. we are both senior citizens and cannot wash clothes manually. the house is fully o[censored]sed clothes. the call centre's responses are robotic without any emotion or concern for the complainant. adding salt to injury is the enquiry 'is there anything else we can do sir', as if they had attended the complaint on hand.

              We are facing problem (bearing plat broken) with the machine and we have contacted Whirlpool’s all India supervisor Mr Iyer on his cellphone # [protected] and as per him my washing machine cannot be repaired as one of its spare part is not available with your company.

              For your information, we had first called up your service centre “Seven Star Services” provided by Vijay Sales on 12/10/2008 and their representative who visited my place charged me Rs 395/- thru receipt number 8476 and told us that “bearing plat” is broken and the same need to be replaced against the cost and further to this he informed me that the service charge of Rs 395/- will also be adjusted in the final repair bill. We asked him to go ahead with the repair work since we wanted our washing machine to be repaired back. But, since then he did not respond back,

              After several follow ups, the service center person informed us that particular part is not available and that he has requested the company for this spare
              Tired, we finally approached Mr Iyer on[protected], we followed with him for several weeks, initially he said he is getting this particular sparepart from your Panduchari Warehouse, then he said he will be arranging a standby washing machine, and finally today he is of the opinion that the said spare part is not available and they can’t do any thing and also that the company has stopped manufacturing this particular product..

              I really fail to understand how a branded company like yours can stop mfg. a product and say that the spare part is not available. We bought this whirlpool product as we had great faith in company and their support process, and it is also know that whirlpool brand is known to satisfy their customer and support them.

              We had paid big amount for purchasing T50W washing machine, in just few years company in India is saying that they do not have spare part and cannot do anything, How can a company say that and where a customer is expected to get product support, we have lost almost four months and valued money as well.

              I had complained whirlpool through several mails regarding the quality of water inlet pipe for washing machine purchased thrice from authorised dealers of whirlpool. These pipes get worn out within one month o[censored]se. The original pipe which was given alongwith the machine got worn out after nearly 8 years.

              Inspite of several complaints and requests to whirlpool to provide me the same quality of pipe which was given with the machine, whirlpool is silent on the matter. It seems whirlpool doesn't care to provide after sales service to customers.

              we had bought a new 280 Ltrs double door Whirlpool Refrigerator 2 years back, also all the electronics appliances are from Whirlpool, A/C, Washing Machine at my palce.Previously also we had fridge from the same company.Since a loyal customer of Whirlpool we expected better services from them.

              Two weeks back we called customer service to send some one to have a routine checkup of the fridge along with A/C, as we had taken a contract for our appliances.Our fridge was working fine, He serviced and then onwards our fridge is not working properly and now it has stopped functioning.

              Inspite of repeatedly calling customer care & Whirlpool office for more than 2 weeks they are not ready to resolve our issue.We require a replacement of our fridge, because of the service person inability to check the applicance properly & doing something to it, we the customer are facing problem.

              Now the model is become obsolete & they are saying we will provide u a damaged one from our warehouse some where at Bhiwandi & not a new running product.My question is whose fault is it ? is it our's who trust the company and buy your product with our hard earned money.

              Above all, what about the money which we pay to get the appliances under contract, for its smooth functioning, Now the company wants MORE RS 5, 000/- as the depreciation value since we used our fridge for 2 years to get it replaced.

              Thankfully we didnt buy Microwave fo whirlpool and bought a LG one, its service is instant and a good one.               Whirlpool 6thsence Sensation washing machine — non functional for 1 yaer and no responce from the company

              I had purchased a Whirlpool fully automatic machine from M/S K.K.Sales pvt. Ltd. Civil Lines, Allahabad, which continuously though erratically worked till October 2007. In month of October 07 the machine failed to perform with 'F1' appearing on the digital display panel.

              As I had been transferred from Allahabad to Etawah, I contacted the local authorized work shop of Whirlpool, Super Cool Engg. Works, Old Bus Stand, Etawah for the repair. But after five os six visits their engineers/mechanics were unable to fix the machine. Even an engineer from Kanpur made a visit but could not resolve the problem and the machine still inutile with the same problem of 'F1' persisting.

              The engineers/mechanics suggested faults in different parts of the machine like motor, drain-motor, etc. but even change of these parts could do no better to the machine.

              We wrote the company and contacted the original vendee K.K.Sales, Allahabad and starting from there our chain of efforts via Lucknow Zonal Office to their toll free phone ended again to Super Cool Engg.Works Etawah who did not bother to pay a single visit despite taking an advance service charge.

              It would not be out of place to mention that until this problem, Whirpool was our trusted brand and we bought almost all appliances like fridge, A.C, washing machine etc. of whirlpool brand for our home.

              you are, therefore requested to kindly take the necessary action and also appraise us the course of action we can take.

              Whirlpool Cabrio washer/dryer — Poor Service from supplier Bernies

              I purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio washer/dryer from Bernie's in Waterford Ct. on 01/29/2009. I was interested in this washer/dryer because I saw it advertised in the Bernie's sale flyer. This same washer/dryer combo was also advertised at Best Buys, I choose Bernies because I purchased my old whirlpool washer/dryer from Bernies in Bloomfield Ct. Sales associate Daniel Deojay assisted me at the Waterford store. He was very knowlegable in regards to this washer/dryer, really sold the washer/dryer on the unique features. I left the store to think about it. I returned to the store on 01/29/2009 and purchased the washer/dryer. Sales associate Deojay was off on the day, I was helped by another sales associate. I did inquire if they worked on commission and was told yes, so I mentioned Deojay helped me initially and I wanted him to receive the credit. The items were out of stock and I had to wait one week for delivery, The washer/dryer was delivered Sunday February 08 2008 at around 5:40 pm. I used the washer and found water streaming from underneath, I investigated and found there was a gashed in the hose. Water leaked all over the floor damaging the tile. I immediately called the store spoke to a manager and explained what the problem was. She scheduled a service appointment for Wednesday February 11th with a four hour window from 8:am to 12 noon. The service tech Dave showed up 3:50 pm that is more like a 8hr window. With that said he came in stated so you have a machine thats leaking. I said the hose have a hole in it. He place his gadet on the floor knelt on the floor over this gadet which appeared to be some type of computer, he tapped a few keys and stated, I don;t have that hose on my truck. I will have to order it and you will receive it in 7 to 10 days. I was in disbeif, It was as if Dave had no clue why he was coming, even though I explained in my phone call to the store that it was the hose and it had a gash in it. I wondered what Dave was paid for this 5 minute service call. I explained to Dave he can do what he felt he needed to do, but I was not waiting for 10 days for a simple hose. I needed washer and dryer on 01/29/2009 when I purchased it. I was willing to wait the week because they were out of stock, I called the store after Dave departed around 5:00 pm and spoke to Matt he said "I will speak to the manager and give you a call back. I called the store three hours later because Matt did not call back. Matt answered the phone again I reminded him I called three hours ago and he said he would call me back and did not. He said well it's been really busy. When I told Mr Matt I would like to return the merchandise to the store and how do I go about doing that will someone pick it up or I can drop it off suddenly, they were not so busy to talk to me. Needless to say I have $2195 worth of merchandise that I cannot use because of a hose with a hole in it that Bernie's is not in a hurry to fix. In the meantime who pays for my time that I spend calling the store, who pays for the hours spent waiting for a delivery man to show up. Who pays for the 8 hours spent waiting for a tech to show up for 5 minutes to tell oh by the way I don't have the part. Only in America
              Yes very recently we have also purchased a microwave oven from PANTALOON, Bhubaneswar on january 7, 2009. IFor last 10 days it is not working. So we contacted customer care either to replce the same or to repair the same. We telephoned to many many times to the service centre and also PANTALOON. This is to note that only the shoe I have received.               I purchased a split A/C through DAS electricals on Ahmed Nagar Road In Pune.It has never worked satisfactorily with some or the other defect coming up time and again.Since last two months it is non functional.Complaint was lodged and was told that there is a manufacturing defect with external unit(Complaint Number 0979).I was asked to shell out money for its replacement even though it was in warranty period which I still did for urgency of repair but nothing has happened till date.I am being told since last three weeks that the VP has to confirm replacement however he seems to have no time for customers and we are suffering.It does amount to ballatant cheating and denial of facility inspite of all the warranties and promises.
              What does one do now.Go to consumer court ? or legal action Please suggest as I have got fed up of pursuing the complaint with no result.

              I purchased Whirlpool 220 Liters double door refrigerator 8 years back from Atul Electronics Mulund (West) Mumbai 4000080.

              My refrigerators main door bottom hinges are not working properly.

              I have registered complaint on 6th Mar’09 to Whirlpool Customer Care (complaint no. 2761 ) the lady on the phone was Sonal Sathe, she gave me customer ID as 5555550 and said that the engineer would come to my place.

              On 7th March’09 a person came, he went without proper checking of the refrigerator & said that he has a meeting to attend and promised to come again.

              We have been following it up practically every day with the customer care
              But there is no response from the customer care
              And no engineer has turned up till today i.e. 28th Mar’09.

              The problem became worst as Yesterday evening the entire heavy door along with its contents collapsed down.

              Again today we called up Customer care but the lady (Sonal) is giving the same old reply that engineer would come to my place.

              It has been painful & horrible experience for us & Whirlpool has demonstrated Worst, Shameless, approach towards its customer.

              When I called up again after a week, the third agent told me that the shipment was not yet handed over to the courier. I asked for an email status of my order, which was never sent.

              I had placed the order somtime in Jan 2009. I had Rs 3100/-. After chasing and making number of calls, I was told that kit has been despatched on 03 Mar 2009. The story is being repeated by every one on customer care who by the way don't know anything of customer care . I have made 13 calls to customer care in last almost 2 months. No one has ever bothered to reply or take any action despite numerous promises made by people like Justine Fernandes, Jiten Thakur, Azim Khan and so many others. I have spent lot of money and even more precious time in conversing with so many people without any result. After almost 3 months I am still being told to wait for some more time. I have made certain queries, no one has bothered to answer these

              1. If item has not reached me whose responsibility is to check?
              2. Have you checked even once with your despatch department even once as to whether package has reached or not?
              3. If you have to wait, you wait for how long before either package is delievered or comes back to you?
              4. How is that an item on cash on deleivry reaches absolutely in time and safely but an item for which payment has been made has not been recieved as yet even after 3 months?
              5. How is that I get atleast 5-6 calls in a day to tell me about new offers but despite my correspondence for last 6-7 weeks none of you neither you or customer care has bothered to check up anything beyond saying the same stupid crap?
              7. What is the number of phonecalls made and emails sent by me?
              8. If none of you stupid guys are unable to tell me anything beyond you recorded replies, who is the one I can approach?

              My interaction with the company has been extremely disgusting. Attitude of company is that they care two hoots about the customer. It is amazing to know that after making 12 calls no one has bothered to take any action. I have been sending mails but reponse once in while only repeats the same story that we have already despatched the item wait for some time, without specifying anything. My pointed questions are not being answered. What can we do? Can this company not be sorted out.

              I have bought a refrigerator in december 2007 from Digital Shoppy Guntur. in september 2008 the refrigerator was stopped working.So i complained at the showroom and they have given the auth.dealers phone number.when i called certain dealer so many times they have visited my house and told that the compressor has failed, and we will replace it in a weak.But after my thorough following and number of calls they have completed the work in DEcember 2008 by charging me 1300/- as charges.               I am Madhrigeratoava rao customer at Hyderabad. I have purchased Whirlpool refrigerator model Icemagic FF350 on[protected] at J.D.Electronics, Hyderabad. at a cost of Rs.22, 500. From october 07 onwards it started giving troubleby blinking of the lights on the fron door and a continuous beep sound was coming from the fridge. We opened the door and shut after which it stopped blinking. But the blinking was continuous and subsequently i approached the service centre. After several requests a complaint was registered with HD [protected]. a TECHNICIAN WAS SENT TO ME WHO ADVISED ME TO TAKE A STABILIZER AND ALSO A ANNUAL MAINTENANCE CONTRACTWHICH COSTED ME Rs.1175 and Rs, 3990 respectively.. But there was no improvement in controlling the beep sound and blinking of the lights. No personnel visited my house for my continuous complaints.               Air Conditioner — Unjustified Service Charge for repairing of Air Conditioner

              I booked the services of Sree Aircon Services ( Repairs and Maintenance service provider for Carrier Air Conditioners)) 2/2C Ballygaung Place East, Kolkata 700039 phone no [protected] for repairing of my air conditioner. At the time of booking of services, I was told the following:
              1) Service Engineer will visit the machine first to examine the condition of the machine.
              2) For this visit I will have to pay Rs 350.00 which will be adjusted with the bill for services, if they provide the service for repairing job.
              3) After inspection, they will rrovide me an estimate.
              4) If I agree to pay as per estimate, they will undertake the repairing job for which I will have to pay as per estimate after deducting Rs 350.00 paid earlier on first visit.

              Accordingly Service Engineer visited my residence on 29.04.2009 and we paid Rs 350.00 at the time of that visit.
              I did not get any estimate from the service provider. instead when we contacted them over phone asking for the estimate and repair of the machine at an early date, I was told that the expenses / charges will be around Rs 3000.00. I gave consent for carrying out the repairing work.
              Repairing work was carried out by the service provider on 05.05.2009. After the job was done, a bill for Rs 3419.00 was produced to my wife asking for the money . My wife asked for adjustment of Rs 350.00 paid ealier as agreed but did not get any justified reason for non-adjustment of the amount. Instead they insisted for early payment on the plea that their time is bwasted by raising the issue of adjusting the sum of Rs 350.00. My wife paid the full amount of the bill for Rs 3419.00 and asked for receipt for the same. But the service engineer did not provide any money receipt and stated that they do not have any practice to issue money receipt.
              My specific complaints against the service provider is the following:
              1) Money receipt has not been issued against receipt of payment.
              2) Rs 350.00 was not adjusted from the final bill.
              3) Service Tax amounting to Rs 319.00 @ 10.3% on Rs 3100.00has been recovered unjustifiably as the elements of bill include supply of material which does not attract Service Tax
              The relief sought by me are as below:
              1) Money receipt is to be issued;
              2) Rs 350.00 not adjusted from the final bill is to be paid.
              3) Excess Service Tax amount recovered is to be refunded
              I have experince about the refrigirator I purchased. It is defective. I therefore believe that the above complaints are all genuine and the company should take appropriate action immediately instead of exhibiting these complaints and keeping quiet!

              I have purchased a washing machine on[protected]. Since it was working well after the guarantee period, the company compelled me put the machine under Home Care Plan(Rs. 1820/- for two years). After a long hesitation I’m agreed. I think the company will care for the spare parts that are to be replaced during the HCP period[protected] to[protected]. But the company technician doesn’t change any spare parts with free of cost. They charged for every replacements and only the visiting charges (Rs. 280/-) was not billed. During the HCP period the formal visit of the company staff is 4 visit. In my memory they weren’t attend the machine that much visit. Even they were not cleaning properly and only in the aim of selling company made products such as cleaning powder and hose tube etc. there are many calls to me from the call centre to exchange old machine buy a new Whirlpool products. I have such a bitter experience with whirlpool.

Compressor stopped working after one year, same was replaced by company with a charge of Rs-1250/-( though the compressor warranty period is Seven years). At present the refrigarator has stopped cooling as the timer, bimetalic swicth and the heater are not working. So i paid another Rs.1350/- for the replacement of the same. Within the three-four years, all the main components of the refrigator have been changed on chargable basis.

                Complaint(Chennai) : We owned a Whirl Pool Washing machine and had problem in course of time. Precisely problem of the machine: Water uncontrollably filled continuously inside and spilled out side off the machine. So spoke to customer care and they did send a technician. He said it would be minor problem and we have paid him.

                The problem would occur with in 15 days to 30 days again. Again he would come and convince us saying that you are no longer going to have any problem in future. Likewise we spent more than 50% of money (Rs 6000) for fixing. But no use, later we realized that technician cheated us.

                We made up our mind to buy new washing machine and we did. The new machine is also having the same problem of water overflowing out of machine and that too within few months of purchase. We are no longer going to use Whirlpool products anymore. Whirl Pool is going to kill its business by losing customer trust.
                I have taken whirl pool Refregirator on[protected] model no is 11255 and serial no INC[protected] at Produttar Andrapradesh, on[protected] Refregirator cool effect gone all stuf kept inside was spoiled.complaint given to the shop owner and local service person of company, after two days service machanic came and taken the Refregirator, still[protected] he has not returned the Refregirator, He is telling that copressor dameged, company is not having stok, when company sends i will give the Refregirator, Shop owner is not at all responding properly, he is telling give complaint to CONSUMER COURT, I am fed up with calling coustomer care, service Engineer, and shop owner.                   I have purchased brand new double door refrigerator of whirlpool 280 L from Sales india ahmedabad in sept 2006, after 1.2 yrs suddenly freezing stopped, they have charged 1200 Rs for sevicing. ( they have replaced relay switch & gas) Now after 5 months of service again freezing stopped.

                  I am experiencing great service & product failure by WHIRLPOOL.

                  I purchased Whirlpool Icemagic 280 litre double door fridge in July 2005. In September 2008 its compressor was said to have been burnt and was replaced free but with other charges summing up to about Rs 1000.00
                  After about 6 days of repeated calls it was done and sent back to me It never did satisfactory cooling and repeated calls were not answered.Ultimately a technician came on 24/04/2009, gave me a bill of 1344.00, took a cheque of the same amount and there is no news from them till now. Today is 28/04/09 time 17:45 hrs

                    I bought brand new whirlpool refrigerator (MasterMind 260 Litre elite model) from Dass Electric Trading co.(P) Ltd, wanowrie branch pune on dated 9 March 2008 .
                    From the day one of delivery, I am getting ELECTRIC SHOCK from the body of lower door of this refrigerator and I complained to DASS as well as whirlpool customer care support with Complaint No: 4825.
                    After a day whirlpool engineer(Mansoorkar-:[protected]) visited to my place and he himself observed the electric shock and concluded with the fact that it is manufacturing defects you should replace your refrigerator.
                    After that i approached to DASS with this problem and had spoken to its Manager named Bhuvnesh([protected],[protected]/24) and he sent his senior engineer/manager named Riyaz[protected]/36/37) to investigate this problem but again he even could not find out any solution to this problem and so relentlessly replied with shrewdness that this is normal and low voltage electric shock that is not hazardous so bear with this but DASS AND WHIRLPOOL WILL NOT REPLACE THIS REFRIGERATOR.
                    Finally I again requested to DASS Manager, Bhuvnesh, as well Whirlpool service centre senior engineer name Anil Patil([protected]) to replace this defective piece of refrigerator but they abused me and even threatened me for consequences.

                    I am continuously calling to whirlpool call center and there some senior lady named Shifaa already aware about all this but she said she can't do anything.

                    Basically they all know very well this is defective piece and sold this out to customer anyhow, which they did and now they are trying to mesmerize me .

                    I request whirlpool senior executives to come upfront and provide me justice.

                    I already sent my grievance to whirlpool: [protected]@whirlpool.com l.
                    I would not be satisfied until and unless they don’t give me replacements and if this not done within a week I will copy and file my grievances to CONSUMER COURT as well as telecast this to CNBC Awaaz channel but i wont let them to escape up to my last RIGHTS.

                    On 10.3.2008 it stopped cooling so i reported to your authorised service center Roli Electronics, Govind Nagar, Kanpur paid Rs. 225/- as inspection fee. The fridge was taken to workshop on 23.03.2008 for repair and returned on 01.04.2008 after filling gas & patch repairs.They charged Rs. 1500/- and Rs. 200/- cartage. But the fridge was not working. So i again complaned and on my repeated calls to service center, the man came on. 25.04.2008 and told that compressure is defective. there fore it is not cooling.

                    I want to say that my complaint was made on 10.03.2008, the warrenty was upto 30.03.2008, the fridge was taken for repair on 23.03.2008. why the compressure was not changed. Action shows that they are making fool to the cutomer they took money but service is NIL,

                    Whirlpool Refrigerator — AMC Service is sub-standard and dismal

                    I have lodged a complaint for problems with my refrigerator on Monday 17th June 2008. Their internal guideline says that the complaint should be checked up within 24 hours. Today on 19th June 2008 after 48 hrs have passed and after making more than 7 reminder calls, no technician has yet visited to look into the complaint. The call center professionals give mere lip service and dont care if a complaint is not addressed within the given time frame. Each time they give a standard response, the engineer will visit today. Even tho I called more than 3 times each day, only 1 reminder is sent to the service partner.

On our complaint with their customer care the engineers repaired to their best at least twice, but couldnot set right the defect. The complaint was lodgd by me on 13th June'08. Every time i ring their customer care, a new assocate picks up the phone and wants me to explain what actually happened.I have lost my cool now and find that the company is a hopeless organisation which can't redress problems of its customers. Their customer care then assred me they r going to replace the machine, but nothing is moving in the desired direction.I am left with no option but to fret and fume and approach different forums for replacement of my fridge as i have paid for a new fridge and not a repaired old fridge.                     I have purchased Kelvinator Fridge 200L from a dealer in Varanasi. Since its delivery we came to know that the bulb inside is not working (lighting). We registered complaint with customer care centre. A person came and said that the bulb is fused and I am replacing this, whereas the actual problem is in the switch placed at the inside of the fridge where the upper portion of the door fits after closure. Next, when the polysheet started detaching from the door, I noticed the deep cut and scratch marks at just left side to the handle. I again complaint to the dealer and the customer service centre. They told me that the person will visit the house very soon, but no representative either from the dealer's side or from the service centre turned up even after 20 days of lodging the complaints. It shows there nonserious and unprofessional attitude. I am thinking of approaching consumer court through a consumer forum.

                    I have purchased Whirlpool Professional Refrigrator 450L DLX Model 11058 DLX from MS Vijay Elecronics 4, Jayanti Market Jaipur in August 08 vide invoice No 552. Since the very first day it started making much noice when in operation and created bad smell in side the deep freezer as well as in the storage portion both.
                    Anyway, I made initial complaint to the dealer from where the refrigerator was purchased. Some service centre persons visited after few days, they agreed to the problem but could not solve and went back saying that they will send their senior personengineers. Some sr persons visited and after looking to the problem they went saying they will send their subordinates for opening some parts of the newly purchased refrigerator to which I never wanted that my new refrigerator should be opened .
                    However after some days, as told, some junior persons visited and opened some part of it. while opening they damaged that part, however, he tried and told that he will visit again after a weeks time to check whether the problem still persists. I kept on waiting for about 15-20 days but no noe attended.
                    I than started complaining regulatrly to the manufacturer and the dealer but no noe has attended to my complaint till this date.
                    To day while lodging a reminder to my complaint both the agencies intimated that my complaint has been closed. But no one could tell as to why and how my complaint has been closed without attending and without mycustomers satisfaction.I dont know if this is the quality control and after sales service of such a renound company.
                    I am quite dissatisfied with this product and under lot of stress as I have incured a huge amount but could not get satisfaction rather I am much tensed.
                    I want that the amount paid be refunded to me along with the compensation as I have suffered lot of stress, as well as inconvenience caused to me and my family.

                    It got problem with thermostat on 10.12.2008 & got replaced from AMAN SERVICES, Boisar.They charged Rs.570.00 with 6 months guaranty.
                    The thermostat got problem in March, 2009 (within 6 month of replacement).I called AMAN SERVICES, Boisar.They came to check & assured me to replace next day.
                    But they are not replacing & not answering my phone.

Even after technician's visit for three times fridge is still not repaired and lying dead for weeks. From my observation the technicians hired by Whirlpool who visit us are not competent at all in repairing fridge.
                    The company should understand that this behaviour will cause damage to their reputation especially in household products.

Working good for four months thereafter it developed with lot of problems.service center was informed, their service engineer visit after a week or ten days from the date of complaint, rectify and go.not more than four days it works good.the same effect of no cooling.So far the following accessories are changed
                    compressor- 4 times
                    cooling tray -2 times, gas filling-4 times . still the service is going on & still there is no cooling spent around Rs.6000 for the replacement of parts which is half the cost of the price service rendered by the centre is very poor they are not responsive to our call rude & arrogant reply recieved from the service centre.
                    my comment is they should be taught a lesson, a very harsh one.

But in January the sliding cover of my semifreezer of model No. FF 400 Elite got broken.I lodged the complaint in the service centre.                     I am shocked to read about whirlpool products. I have dropped my idea to purchase one whirlpool refrigerator this week.
                    I am also the victim of the Whirlpool product and its customer care centre at Hyderabad. I have purchased the DD 210 Ltr cap fridge from TMC, ASRAO NAGAR, HYDERABAD which was sent to me without the coolant gas and after protracted deliberqations, the gas was filled. I have also purchased the stabiliser for this fridge in January, 2009 (Model No: DI1404) which starts malfunctioning from 13.07.09. I have immediately given acomplaint to the CC centre on 14.07.09 vide C.No:5166 dt.14/7/09, but till date nobody has turned for replacement of the stabiliser. Such a crass attitude of the employees of this worst company was never seen in my lifetime and I suggest that nobody should purchase any product from this company as their service is the poorest of poor.
                    The redressal of service related complaint is disgusting.I have bitter experience with authorised service agent namely Pinnacle Services, RZ-^, Sayyad Nangloi, New Delhi.Firstly, their representative has changed my compressor without proper diagnosis.It resulted into bursting of coil.Now, they are not responding despite repeated calls.Hopeless Whirlpool service.

                    Whirlpool Refrigerator — Body defect

                    I had purchased a whirlpool Refrigerator 185 Ltr vide Invoice No._6285___from your local Dealer Alaknand Electronices RJM Plaza Dehardun.which is still under warranty period.

                    Whirlpool Refrigerator — Not working from the date of purchase

                    I bought Whirlpool refrigrator from Vasanth & co, North usman Road on Feb 2007. With in a year the compressor burst happen and we extended the product warranty for a year after it happen to be on the saferside. But, nobody attend the service when we call in the warranty period. I have spent more than 5000 rupees just for servicing the refrigerator in span of 2 years from the date of purchase. Now my refrigerator is not working again fro the past 1 month. when we call the Service center they demand for 4 years extended warranty ( Rs4500 )otherwise they say they will not guarentee for their service. I am struggling having this refrigerator and using it as just a cupboard.Please be careful on the product you by from whirlpool and also with the shop from where you buy.
                    The cooling in my whirl pool fridge was slightly less. I lodged a complaint in whirl pool call centre. One service engr came to attend, but to my surprise he removed all the gas from the fridge, so the frudge is now not working at all. The engr said he will change the freezer & fill the gas & wiil charge Rs3070. IAGREED FOR REPAIR BUT HE HAS NOT YET COME TO REPAIR MY GRIDGE WHICH WAS WORKING ALMOST NORMALLY.

                    I had purchased Whirlpool refrigerator, in May'2007. Its less than 2 years, compressor is not working now.I had given my complaint to service center of the Whirlpool, they came and they are charging me of Rs1400/- and total expenditure comes to around 1600/-.

                    Belive me even today also i am expecting the call from customer care.

                    I had logged a complain#GB[protected] on 25/10/09 for my Whirlpool refrigerator (bought on 28/05/2006 Model#8267, SR.No: INC[protected] that had later closed without resolving the issue and even without informing us.

                    Again I logged a new complain#183 on 01/11/09, now everyday I’m calling to customer care at 60008558 and everyday they say that the engineer will come next day but no one there to take care. Your customer care manager is also a wonderful guy he/she not bothers even to talk to the customers. I tried 100 times to reach to customer care manager “KAMLESH” at number#[protected] (his details given by Whirlpool customer care) but he/she didn’t pick the phone.

                    Strange people are seating in their customer care, today they said that Shankar (Engg) has been allocated for this area and he is on leave. Whenever he will be back will attend the complain and when he will be back no one knows.

                    I have purchased a whirlpool 1.5 ton Split AC on 1st Sep 2008 from Orient Electronics, Dharampura Bazar, Opp. Midtown Plaza, Patiala-147001, Tel. No.[protected]. This AC has never worked properly since day 1. There was leakage in it from day 1. I submitted this complaint against it, but nothing was done. We were not given coupons for free services as well. When we submitted complaint for these issues with company's call center at chandigarh at number[protected]. They started blaming dealer's installation and also asked us for payment for visiting us to see faults in AC. We are not being given any after sales services. Due to leakage from front panel of AC in room, my father's health suffered a lot. Mental harassment is also there. So, we are looking for proper action against dealer and company for such malpractices.

                    I bought brand new whirlpool refrigerator (Whirlpool 340 DLX iceberg ST model) from Bansal Tele Shop Pvt Limited, Hargobind Marg Mohar Singh Nagar near CMC Chowk Ludhiana on dated 25 March 2006 .
                    From the day one of delivery, we are telling the dealer that water trips into the body of the refrigerator and it stinks badly.
                    They told me that there is some manufacturing defect and will get it well soon. Number of engineers have seen the refrigerator but no solution has been found. I request whirlpool senior executives to come upfront and provide me the justice.

                      I went to buy a Whirlpool fridge from Manoj Electronics Ltd, 8-Netaji Subhash Marg, Location - Darya Ganj, Delhi-110002 on 12th JAN 2008.
                      The fridge I selected was F-30DX-Graphite
                      The model was not available at that time .And they promised to deliver me the fridge within 2 days. So I paid Rs 4000 as token money on 12th JAN 2008 and the remaining Rs12900 was decided to be paid by me on delivery. They gave me a Invoice number A: 5083.

                      As I waited for the fridge, I was informed that due to non availability of color it will be delivered to me within next 15 days.
                      On 30th Jan, on calling the dealer I was again told that the fridge will be delivered to me on 5th Feb. But there was no sign of the fridge on the said date.
                      After so much frustration I called Manoj Electronics and told them to refund my money and told them that I can't wait any longer as my old fridge was not working at all.
                      They paid no attention to my calls and again on 17th Feb I called them and they promised to deliver the fridge next day.

                      Till then a scheme was started by Whirlpool fridge on 15th Feb 2008 which stated assured gifts, air tickets for 2 and a scratch card gift for all those who bought the fridge between 15th Feb 2008 -31st March 2008.
                      The fridge was delivered to me on 20th Feb 2008 after a threat to the dealer from my side that I will go to consumer court.
                      On delivery of fridge on 20th Feb 2008, asking about the gifts they told me that the fridge was delivered to me on 20th Feb but token money and invoice was prepared on 12 th Jan, so I am not eligible for the gifts.
                      I felt cheated ‘cos I think they knew previously about the scheme and that’s the reason they made me wait so long.

                      Moreover the fridge I received was not having the company logo and the legs of it are a little crooked.
                      On delivery of the refrigerator, I told them that I am not accepting the fridge as it didn't have the logo .They informed me that Whirlpool service engineer will paste a new logo for me and I have to buy a trolley worth 1400 Rs to make the legs straight.
                      Nothing has been done by Whirlpool Service engineer till date.
                      I really feel I have done a big mistake by buying the fridge from MANOJ ELECTRONICS, NEW DELHI.
                      They are a big crooks and frauds.
                      They irritate there customers and cheat them.

                      Please see to it and help me get my gifts and teach those frauds a good lesson

                      whirlpool/refrigerator — nothing is being done

                      our refrigerator had already bean replaced but this one is also having a defect in it ... the door does not close completely ... we have talked to the dealer also but nothing is being done the say that they have forward our complaint but it has been three to four months but nothing is done ...

                        We had purchased a Whirlpool Double Door Refrigerator (Iceberg 340 Steel) on August 11, 2007 from M/s TV House, 25, Main Market, Kingsway Camp, Delhi 110007. The piece supplied to us was defective. This was brought to the notice of the Company, whose person came and inspected the machine and accepted that the fridge needs to replaced. The replacement came after about 40 days after innumerable reminders. As the temperature outside starting increasing by March 10, 2008, we discovered that food items kept in the fridge are getting stale because of inefficient cooling. Complaint was lodged to the service centre of the company on 18th March. A service person came and told that the defect was in switch which had been rectified. However, as the problem persisted, we again got in touch with the company. Again another service engineer came and told the the problem is with the vent which gets clogged due to a manufacturing defect. He promised he would get the parts to be replaced and would set the fridge right by 21st evening. The fridge is still lying switched off since than. In between, we have made numerous calls to the company. Last response from the company was on friday, 28th March. The person on the line told that in a week's time a team from Quality Control of the company would visit our residence and after inspecting would decide further action.

                        From the above detailed account of our experience, anybody can make out the callous attitude and befooling tactics of the company. How can one beleive that a simple machine like a fridge requires so much deliberations for deciding the fault? My request is either company should replace the machine with a working model of similar type or should refund me the cost of the fridge along with compensation for the amount of time wasted by us in pursuring our complaints and the mental stress to which we have been put to in this process.

                        Whirlpool/ Iceberg refrigerator — Poor Make Quality and Service

                        My father Mr U P Srivastava Purchased a Whirlpool 310 litre Iceberg refrigerator on 26/12/2005 for Rs 17990/- from air care engineer, Llal Bagh, Lucknow. Ever Since purchase the refrigerator has been a source of problem rather than be an asset. Immidiately after purchase there was a problem in the cooling system and water had started coming out. After a lot of persuing company representative finally repaired the fault. Of late the outer casing of freezer door has suddenly caved inwards without any external pressure/ shock. After lodging complaint with the call centre and giving the cmplete details of the fault, all that was done was that a service engineer turned up, charged about Rs 300/- (as visiting charges) and simply noted the defect. He added that the complete door of the freezer costing over Rs 3000/- would have to be replaced.

                        It is indeed pathetic state of affairs that a reputed brand such as Whirlpool provides such appliances having poor build quality. Quite a lot of effort and money has already been spent on an appliance that is supposed to ease household functioning. It would be appreciated if the Company goes beyond the terms and conditions of Warranty and does the needful to rectify self devloping faults in the appliance.

                        It pain me to see my parents troubled with the fridge when ever I come to Lucknow on leave.

                        Whirlpool/ Fridge — Poor after sales service

                        We had purchased a fridge last October considering Whirlpool not only the best but also best in after sales services also.
                        This May end the fridge door had started getting heated up and the door gasket got loosened. I lodged a complaint regarding this at Chd call centre on 01/06/2009 they gave me complaint number CH[protected] . But to my surprise no one has turned up since then. I have called the call centre at least 6 after that, every time they say matter has been referred to Head Office and they personally shall highlight the matter. They gave a landline number which no one picks up at calling.
                        My friends have feeling about Whirlpool that they pass the warranty period like this only.
                        I am writing to you as my last hope. I had mentioned the complaint number CH[protected] . We never had ever thought of such bad after sales services. This fridge I had bought for my parents, now I have a buy a new fridge for my use at my job place, and with much regrets I say that surely I may not go for Whirlpool.

                        Whirlpool — Poor quality and service

                        I feel i did a blunder mistake by purchasing a refigerator from Whilpool, i wanted to change my refrigerator in the month of Novmber 2009, i thought Whirlpool is multinational company and thier quality may be better than other companies and i bought the fridge, with 3 months after the purchase fridge stopped working, i gave complaint to their service centre, they cooly responded after 3 days, that too after serveral requests over phone and filled GAS, exatcly after three months, Fridge again stopped working, i gave a complaint to their service centre, the response was similar, this time they took 4 days to repair, now after 3 months after the last repair, Fridge stopped working, i gave a complaint yesterday and asked them to replace the unit as it is coming for repair every now and than, may because of the poor quality.

                        The company should undaerstand few things,

                        1. Fridge( Refrigerator) has become very essential house hold item, when a complaint is registered, it should be addreesed immdiately as food items are perishable
                        2. When you get complaints of repir frequently, they replace the unit instead of repairing, since it is connected with their reputation and customer satisfaction.

                        I suggest, think twice before going for WHIRLPOOL brands.

                          Complaint no 8859, dtd 21st feb, no responce as on date. As on date given 4-5 reminders on toll free no. but still no body has visited our house. The service engineer give a feed bk to the company that the house was locked. The same is not true as our mother( A house wife) always remain in the house.
                          From the day one ( oct 07) we are not satisfied with the working of the machine i.e the quality of washing is not good. The service enggr sold us a costly washing powder by saying that the it will solve our problem but it remain same. He promised a lot but none of them got filled up.
                          We request the company to take it bk and refund our money. I feel no body is thare to look for the complaint. This is the worst company I hd ever delt with. I feel I hv got cheated. I request others to not to purchased any product of the company.

                            I purchased 2 Air conditioners 150 Ei and a refrigerator 350 L from Whirlpool Authorized dealer M/s City Audio Vision (P) Ltd. on 11th June 2003 for Rs. 64,700.00 .( copy of bill enclosed ). The same was paid to the Dealer vide pay order no 182179 dt 10th June 2003 payable at Bank of America Connaught place.

                            Sequence of events:-

                            On Feb 27th 2008 I lodged a complaint with the Whirlpool call centre no +[protected] regarding my refrigerator. The problem was that the refrigerator was not working and there was no cooling in Freezer and the main cabinet.

                            On 28th Engineer visited my residence and recommended that they will need to change the compressor gas to rectify problem.

                            On 29th he visited again at our residence with the gas kit , opens the compressor and tried to rectify the problem however was not able to rectify the problem and suggested that they will need to take the refrigerator to workshop as there is a blockage in the pipe which needs to be cleaned with nitrogen.


                            Despite continuous reminders the refrigerator was ultimately lifted from our house on 3nd March 2008 for the repairs with the commitment that the repaired refrigerator will be replaced within 3 working days. I was continuously following up with the Call centre however they were not able to deliver the refrigerator until 8th March 2008. On delivery I paid Rs 1230 for the repairs although my refrigerator is still under warranty.

                            During this period I had spoken to no of Whirlpool executives including Vikram and Gurpreet from the Home Care Centre..


                            To my surprise when the refrigerator was returned back at my residence, I noticed that the base of the refrigerator freezer has been burnt while doing some welding in the process of repairing the refrigerator and the clip of the back tray has been broken and on top of it the refrigerator is not working at all. I called up on no +[protected], and logged the complaint again. I spoke to Gurpreet and he gave me assurance that some senior will give me a call and give me the full details and a Service Engineer will visit my home within 2 hours. Neither I have received any call from any senior nor did any Service Engineer visit my residence.


                            I now and totally dissatisfied with service and given the mal intentions of cheating I request yourself to register the case and charge the Whirlpool India under Consumer Protection Act 1986.

                            Claim:-

                            Replacement of my refrigerator with new one as the base of the Freezer has been burnt and is nor repairable.

                            Compensations of Rs 50,000.00 for the mental trauma and the stress I and my family had gone through the whole week, My old aged mother who is suffering from Herpis at this point on time and for that matter my whole family had to live without refrigerator for a week in these scorching summers.


                            Request your good self for the speedy redressal of the dispute.

                            I find companies paying scant respect to the complaints registered. I have a problem with washing machine now. I bought a washing machine WM Splash Light Grey, Serial No: INB[protected], model No: 10437 on 16/2/2008. On 24/3/2008 it developed problem with scraping noise from the bottom.

                            A person attended on 25/3/2008 and said a part has to be replaced. Till now there is no sign of him. I have called call centre on 26th and today 3 times. They assure to send somebody within so many hours but nobody turns up. I was even informed by the call center person that one of their service engineers had reported that they come on 25th. But we are very sure that nobody has visited us after the first visit. What surprises me is that how can a machine stop working within a month.

                            Their service is very poor.
                            I am narrating below my experience with the Whirlpool and its refrigerator. As anybody can make out that my experience is worst than that of Mr. Koul, as I have been having problems with the fridge right from the beginning and had to manage without fridge for about 40 days after its purchase on August 11, 2007 and now for 12 (don't how many more) days. I suggest that my complaint too be appended with Mr Kuldeep Koul's Complaint to the Consumer Court.

                            I am an aggrieved senior citizen regarding tarnished service from the Whirlpool India.

                            I am using Whirlpool Whitemagic Hot wash under AMC for past some years.

                            My complaint regarding non functional heater vide serial 7791 on the 24 Nov 08 is yet to be solved, instead the so called engineer from Dehradun Chawla Electronics has left evn the PCB useless and the machine is standing non functional for last one month.

                            Thank you for the visit from your Calicut Service Centre.

                            The service personnel was not very helpful in resolving the issue, his response to our query were not specific and answers very vague, he was trying to avoid the job, and not understanding crux issue

                            The issue is the refrigerator has got rust,

                            We had purchased a whirlpool model 1210-220lt in 1997, we had opted for anti rust package offered by Whirlpool at that time and we had paid for a 5 year term ( Receipt available) and renewed the same for a period another 5 years and subsequently Whirlpool came up with Home care Plan

                            Product No : CO/P/0907/44726 purchased on Sept 19, 2007 and we availed of availed Home care Plan Registration NF-0810-24m Plan code No. 1023171 . We were told that the Home care Plan overides all previous plan and rust coverage is also covered in the plan.

                            As per the plan Whirlpool service had to visit us for preventive maintenance on the following dates : 19/3/2008; 15/9/2008; 14/3/2009; and one for 10/9/2009; because of lack of support from Whirlpool service or Homecare the refrigerator has developed rust on the door and the frame .

                            The visit on Friday ie July 31st was the first visit under the plan

                            Your Calicut Service Centre, is one of the most Customer Unfriendly centre that i have across, they are not bothered about customer query, and well the moto seems if it is old model avoid all services at any cost.

                            I request you to sent your Service Manager for the region, to look into the issue and advise accordingly

                            As per the plan whirlpool service had to visit us for preventive maintenance on the following dates : 19/3/2008; 15/9/2008; 14/3/2009; and one for 10/9/2009; because of lack of support from Whirlpool service or Homecare the refrigerator has developed rust on the door and the frame .

                            We regret to inform you that in spite of our calls and visit to your Calicut Service office, no one turned up for any maintenance work, also we had requested or certain parts on the refrigerator door, which was not made available despite assurance. Now we understand that we have been sold an obsolete model in 2007, the reason for service centre not to take up the maintenance of this model.

                            We request you to kindly replace the rusty refrigerator at the earliest or we will be compelled to file a case against whirlpool at consumer forum.

                              I BUY A WHILRPOOL WASHING MACHINE BEFORE A MONTH
                              WHEN COMPANY DELIVERED THIS MACHINE THEN AFTER SAME DAY WE FOUND ERRER IN THE MACHINE SO WE CALL TO WHIRLPOOL CUSTOMER CARE AND THEN ENGINEER CAME AND OPEN THE WHOLE MACHINE HE ALSO FOUND ONE DAMAGE PARTS IN MACHINE HE SAID WE CAME BACK WITHIN TWO DAYS AND WE WILL REPAIR IT SOON. FROM THE DAY TILL YET NOBODYS COME BACK TO REPAIRE THIS MACHINE AND NOBODY GIVE US PROPER REPLY FROM HIS CUSTOMER CARE.NO BODY HAVE VISITED.AFTER CALLING SO MUCH CALLS. ANSWER WAS THE SAME " YOUR COMPLAIN WILL BE SOLVED WITHIN 24 HRS.BUT NOBODY WILL COME AT OUR HOME.

                              WHAT I CAN DO ???

                              IF ANYBODY HAVE SOLUTATION THE PLEASE HELP ME.

                                I have the honour to remind you that a whirlpool refrigerator of model no. F-23 DX steel was purchased from MANGLA ELECTRONICS with vide cash memo no. 444 dated 11th June 2005.
                                You assured me about its functioning and praise-worthly quality. That's why we purchased it.
                                Having used the refrigerator about two months, i find that the freezing section is not working at all in summer days. we complained under the IMPULZ HOME CARE SERVICES. And after this we have complained three times but no result found. Now we have totally dum refrigerator.
                                Hopfully you will be take imediately favourable action.

                                We would like inform to you that, your servcies is not good after sale, very poor, not satisfied, for last two or three months your engineer visted in your house for checking the refrigerator, but they are not doe well, and they are change the some parts but its not working also well, I thnk its manufactruing defect in this refigerator, we request to you kindly take this refigerator back and refund our money, we are not take more tension for this system.

                                  I purchrge a whirlpool refrigerator of 250 liters (model Elite ice megic) eloctronic from Mastana Appilances Sector-16, Gandhinagar bill no 15112 dt.02/12/2003. My cliant ID no 1814710, In 4-year I register my complain in yr company by phone to..[protected] pl check.I taken a conract for services.Due to contract company has replced (in warranty)

                                  new compressor in last year n replaced circuit board 3-times ..Till now my freez is not working

                                  properly...Till my complain is pending..no is 542 dt.02/02/08..Now a days we are suffering.. Realy I affaraid to purchage such type or product...If this piece is defected than replace it or rebate against such product...other wise I complain to consummer society of india, ok...pl do needfull action regardind this matter...

                                  Reparing process is too much...pl try to understand my problem...

                                    Whirlpool appliances Authorized Service Partner SRI MARUTHI EMGINEERING , situated at No 47-3-35 , 5 th Lane,Dwaraka Nagar,Visakhapatnam-530016 phone No.[protected] , whose Head Office is situated at Hyderabadad 1-10-240/ C,D -Ashok Nagar , HYDERABAD-20 .
                                    I accepted their offer for ANNUL MAINTAINANCE CONTRACT for two years and paid Rs 1560/ and their bill No 372 dt 12 Jan 2008
                                    of the contract refers.
                                    I have been trying to get my Refrigerator problem fixed & done up, for the last 15 days and each time i contacted them , they say that they would send the team for rectifying and no one turns up. They are trying to evade the customers and they disregard the commitment undertaken by them.

                                      Whirlpool White Magic 5.5 kg washine machine was bought inDecember 1999. During the warranty period some minor faults occured and they were got rectified by service personnel.

                                      In July 2007, as loud noice was heard while washing, contacted the service centre and they said, Main PCB is faulty and replaced it, by paying Rs 3500/- InOctober 2007, water was not draining properly, and all the accessories - drum, bearing, hub, were replaced at a cost of Rs 4000/-.

                                      Now, again the very same condition repeats, water is coming as drop by drop eventhough overhead tank is full. Even after washing is started, water dripping is not stopping.After rinse and spin too, water is entering to the drum so that we have to drain it again manually.

                                      When contacted the service people, they are of opinion that water inlet may be faultt. What to do? How can one bear the recurring expenditure?

                                      The dealer's approach too is not good. How can we scrap this after spending Rs 7500/- recently? Please suggest a solution.

EVERY TIME TECHNICIANS COME MAKE US SPEND SOME AMOUNT TELLING THIS WILL BE OK AND AGAIN SAME PROBLEM OCCURS. LAST VISIT ON[protected] WHERE WE WERE OFFERED WHIRLPOOL STABILISER FOR RS.1450/-. WITHINTWO DAYS FRIDGE STOP WORKING AGAIN. I WAS MADE TO TAKE PEACE OF MIND PLAN FOR RS.3800/-.VIDE FORM CUM RECEIPT NO: HG02 257307. ALSO APPROACHED SNEHANJALI FROM WHERE APPLIANCE WAS BOUGHT FOR REPLACEMENT. BUT NO HELP. KINDLY ASSIST US FOR REPLACEMENT OF THE SAID APPLIANCE WHICH WAS SUPPLIED TO US WITHOUT OUTER CARTON PACKING AND HENCE WAS SECOND HAND APPLIANCE.
