I bought a Whirlpool refrigerator 11 years back. In the course of time its freezer gasket got damaged as it became hard, consequently cooling is lost and now electricity consumption is so high and things stored in it get damaged quite often.
I wanted to repair it and contacted Whirlpool customer care and hence technician visited my house and identified that the gasket to be changed and it has to be ordered in the company. Advance payment was also done. Since i didn't get reply for more than 2 weeks, i contacted customer care again on 23 jan 2022. Then i was informed that the product is not available in company so cannot be replaced.
Coming to the matter, it is a pity on you Whirlpool, for such reputed company to admit that you don't manufacture the spare for your products. It is the invitation that your products should not be bought anywhere, if bought the customer is trapped. How can I throw the refrigerator just for the matter of a simple part (door beeding? I'm extremely sorry to say that you don't believe in your own products and you have no commitment on your customers. I'm not asking you to give your service on a free basis but requesting you to produce quality appliances and take responsibility on customer satisfaction.

    I have purchased Whirlpool refrigerator in 2015, now the compressor gone but compressor has the warranty up to 10 years.
    To claim that warranty they are asking purchase bill. Since i missed my original bill and Ezone showroom also closed every where (where i purchased ). Based the manufacturing date pasted on the refrigerator they are not claim the warranty..

      My washing machine model 123 650h stopped working. On checking the SR mentioned that the PCB board melted.
      Even though it’s 10 years old we would have not used it more than 30 times and it was kept indoor with no impact from weather.
      I still don’t understand how it could melt.
      I had to pay Rs5000 to have it fixed.

          Registered a new compliant on 05-01-21, because of the plug is burnt.

          The customer support told that the plug has to be replaced that costs 300/- and they told me about the service charge of 450/- which is totally unfair.

          The part itself costs less than the service charge. The washing machine cost is less than 15k when it was bought and its not even been 3 years since the date of purchase.

          - parts of the product while manufacturing doesn't comprise of good quality
          - unfair customer service charge
          - frequent repairs

          lost trust in buying this whirlpool Brand products.

              Dear Team,

              I have a genuine grievance here and it is causing me some agony and regret over my decision making and I need your kind
              help to overcome the issue. I am an Army Officer and I purchased this machine through the Canteen Stores Dept. from
              Amico Agencies, Pune. All my last 3 machines over the last 20 years have been IFB (each serving me for 6-7 years without any issue)
              and this is the first time I changed my trusted brand and opted to buy a Whirlpool product when persuaded by the Amico Agency sales person stating that the machine was manufactured in Europe and was of the best quality amongst all machine made in India.

              I agreed and purchased it but within 2 years, the manufacturing defects have been exposed. Pune is neither a coastal area, nor is my washing machine kept on the open terrace or exposed to rain, moisture or bad weather in any way. Moreover, I use a washing machine cover and stand purchased from an authorised dealer to keep the machine protected in every way possible at all times.

              So it is clear that it is not the handling but the defect in manufacturing/low standard of material used that has led to the problem.

              Please find the invoice of my washing machine and the service report attached herewith.

              Also find images of my washing machine attached herewith for your reference. You can see the cabinet area around the top where the
              control panel fits and the area behind the detergent/softner tray is showing clear signs of rusting.

              You will understand that these areas usually get covered behind the detergent tray or the washing machine cover.
              The extent of rusting clearly shows that although I saw it only a few days back while cleaning the machine,
              this has been developing and would have started much before September 2021 when the warranty would have expired.

              I am sure the quality and performance of your products is a matter of pride for you also and such issues coming up are not great
              for the reputation of a big brand name like Whirlpool.

              I urge you to understand the issue in its entirety and see that the rusting has not happened overnight but has been happening for a while,
              likely much before the expiry of warranty. Please check with the technician who had visited my house to inspect the machine
              and he will inform you about the actual condition of the cabinet and other facts.

              In view of the above mentioned facts, I earnestly request you to provide me with a replacement for my machine/machine cabinet
              if only that is faulty at no extra cost to me.

                Our Whirlpool Top loading washing machine water inlet become feeble, upon complaint there was a service agent from SREE CARE visited and changed the inlet valve. After that the water inflow is working fine.
                My complaint is about the price they have charged for the spare part was 1950rs whereas the similar product is available in Amazon between 400 to 700rs. Why did this service center charge me 1200rs extra? This is called ripping off the customer.
                On top of such high charge there is a service charge of 450rs as well.
                Is there a way i can raise this as consumer complaint on such a high charge towards a spare part?

                  I had placed a single door refrigerator on 13dec2021 through whirlpool website and full payment with order no #31652 had done and they had confirmed the delivery will done within 3-4 business days .
                  After so many follow ups the delivery received on 22DEC2021 that to with wrong order i.e washing machine instead of single door refrigerator.

                  But again after so many follow ups, it was picked up after 1 week of receipt and as on till date we had received the actual delivery.

                      Hi,
                      Our whirlpool Top Loading (Full automatic) Washing machine was facing water inlet problem, so we called the whirlpool Official customer care number and they sent technician. The technician said issue in 1-water inlet unit, 2- shock Absorbers, & 3- Board (he took board for checking by connecting to computer at their store), he told us it will cost us around 4000/- RS Approx. Next day morning they called & said it will cost us around 8000/- RS, After some time they said it will cost us around 11000/- RS -do you want to proceed ? (they have dismantled all components & taking consent from us)
                      Finally with the negotiation, he took rupees 10, 500/- from us.
                      There is full sense of cheating in this service and I am very disheartened by this huge amount i have spent for even smaller issue,
                      PS : I am very unsatisfied with this service of whrilpool

                        I have a complaint regarding my double door refrigerator repair. Problem was that convert mode not working due to wiring cut issue . I filed a service request through whirlpool customer care. A person (technician) came on 30/12/2021 checking refrigerator and asked me to pay Rs 410. I paid him but he didn't provide any bill. Also refrigerator wasn't repaired by technician . But next Day on 31/12/2021 service center executive said that u have come with refrigerator our service center derabassi location and on same day am called to technician he said your refrigerator is OK .but after that technician demand Rs 500 for wiring soldering or wire joint. Technician said that u have to pay Rs 500 for wiring repairs charges and also time charges but I paid 500 + 410=910

                        Your technician misbehave on call 📞 when am asking for bill details of this amount . He said to me remove joint and wire when am asking for bill and also use bad language with me ...

                        I find this way of company like Whirlpool quite unprofessional. I cannot expect this level of service support from whirlpool.

                          I have been using the Whirlpool top load washing machine since July 2020. 2 years warranty.

                          Was working more or less fine

                          In July 2021 I had to call whirlpool technicians to fix a "de" error. Thereafter machine was working fine.

                          In 29-December-2021, I had to call whirlpool technicians again as the clothes were not drying. They were coming out wet and dripping.

                          Technician came on 29-Dec-2021. Said he has fixed the problem and left. I didn't wash anything that day. When I started my washing load the next day on 30-Dec-2021 for two bed sheets I found the machine shaking while its drum was rotating during the rinse. Issue was that clothes were collecting on one side making the weight in the drum to one side which made the drum beat around and as a result the noise is high (as if the machine is going to break down or explode) and the entire machine shifts out of its location.

                          This complain number MUM[protected] is the complaint I filed on 30-Dec-2021

                          Technician came on 31-Dec-2021 and said that maybe the bed sheet I had put into the washing machine was put in by me on one side and that's why it stayed on that one side and caused the lopsided weight on the drum making it all wobbly while rotating and that pulled the machine away from its stationary position.

                          Issue not resolved. Technician left after showing me all is well if I do not put clothes to one side.

                          My question to design and quality department of Whirlpool is that if the above was true why did I not face the problem before 30-Dec-2021 when I have been using the machine since July 2020.

                            and technician came and charge 450rs didn't fixed it.
                            and also they said your fridge is will not fixed so need to replacement,

                            i think this is scam between whirlpool and their repair franchise
                            and
                            whirlpool company said i need to pay 60% of amount then they will provide new fridge.

                              We have purchased double door whirlpool fridge on August 30th 2021. after 20days o[censored]sage we have observed that inside of fridge we are getting small small insects and those flying inside of fridge. when we have contacted the support team they are very very rude at behavior and we have requested 5times. till now issue is not resolved.
                              uneducated technicians are saying fridge we can't place in kitchen like that. and even just they are coming for visit they are not doing anything.
                              We need a solution for that they are very very rude at communication.
                              fridge life time is only 4months but i don't know why these issues are coming.

                              We had a conversation with whirlpool area service manager his name is Naresh.. he said unable to resolve the issue. and he is saying that fly's are not inbuilt one in fridge.. i don't know how they are giving this answer i don't i flyes are not coming in fridge means how we are finding insects and facing heavy cooling and sweat issue in fridge. That person dont know difference between flyes and insects atleast..its better to suggest that person to google difference between fly's and insects.
                              i think they are thinking like customers are fools..
                              1. we are asking one how insects are entering into a fridge if fridge every thing fine..?
                              2. There is a issue with heavy cooling.
                              3. inside of fridge we are getting full sweat when fridge is on by 24/7 also. We need solution for this..

                              Before saying we dont have any issue with fridge whirlpool people need to answer for this question.

                              If there is no issue with fridge how insects are entering into fridge and why it is giving heavy cooling and why it is giving sweat and black ness in fridge you can answer for this questions..

                                I bought whirlpool washing machine 3years ago and the bearing is gone so soon. What sort of a quality is maintained?
                                I called customer care and the inspection was done which costed 350, the guy who visited said I don’t get it replaced in 2 days then I will again have to pay 350 for their visit after 2days +?The cost of the bearing is mentioned as 6000 which is so costly upon that they want us to take decision on spot. Now I tried calling that guy who inspected the washing machine he is no picking the call. He won’t as well cause after 2days if they attend again then they will be paid 350 again.
                                What great scammers you are, making money in what ever way possible.

                                  HI, my registered mobile no #[protected], our Whirlpool refrigerator was picked by the service agent on our complaint to the customer care center. The service engineer visited and suggested taking the refrigerator to their service center in Mohali. We paid for the freight and the labor charges as well the visiting charges. Now I received the call from them to pay the repair charges and only then the refrigerator would be dispatched for our home.
                                  I fail to understand why the service agency insists to pay even though the delivery is still pending and the product has not been inspected by us. Please provide the solution at the earliest. The rude behavior from the service center is just not called for, by such a reputed multinational company.

                                    I have a complaint regarding my Washing machine repair. I have a top load washing machine of whirlpool brand (Model No.31108). It was not spinning from 12/12/2021. I filed a service request through whirlpool customer care. A person came on 13/12/2021 and he said I have to replace the gearbox and he said it will cost Rs. 8000. He gave me a bill (TSP set suspension roads+ Tube assembly+VDI fee= Rs 8000) and I paid it on that day itself. On the 18th another person came with parts and he said the brake also needs to be replaced and for that, I had to pay Rs.1350 extra. But the part he replaced and the old one looked the same. and he said if I need a bill he will charge Rs 1350, otherwise Rs 1050. So I doubt if they changed that part unnecessarily for money. And the first person said I will get only 3 months warranty for the replaced part. I just want to get clarity on the bill, and if there is a fraud, want to get the refund. Because Rs. 9350 for a washing machine repair is bit high, that too with 3 months warranty.

                                      As per service request no kol[protected], one unskiled worker name: Biswajit Halder of your company come to house and nothing made any solution instant to my problem and left my purifier open stage and incomplete setup stage on 15/12/21.
