I, debayan mukherjee a whirlpool customer, would like to ventilate out my disappointment with an issue and the harassment that i am facing since past 2+ months, that is beyond one's imagination. It feels like i made the biggest mistake of my life by purchasing a whirlpool product. And i am also ashamed of calling myself a whirlpool customer from now.

I had purchased a fully automatic washing machine of model whirlpool primer 652sd/6.5 wine (Model no.: 31181, sr. No.: inf[protected], billed under the name aparna biswas mukherjee, from great eastern, barasat on 30.06.2017. However, the product was delivered after 15 days from the date of purchase, that is on 15.07.2017 by the dealer. The reason stated by the dealer for such late delivery was due to gst implementation (As stated in their mail that they have sent me as well to whirlpool kolkata authorities).

First demo installation was dated on 17.07.2017 (Satisfaction code: 432, sr number: kl[protected]) by palash saha (Cell. No.: +91 [protected]), but was not conducted successfully due to lack of proper water as well as electricity source in order to operate the washing machine. This is what was explained to me by the engineer. The product was not even unpacked on that day. He cancelled the demo service and suggested me to make the necessary changes (I. E. Proper water as well as electricity source) and requested me to make another demo and installation service from whirlpool again.

After making all the necessary changes as suggested by whirlpool engineer, i called for second installation and demo service on 28.07.2017 (Satisfaction code: 332, sr number: kl[protected]). This time too the same person (Palash saha) came for demo and installation. During this installation the product was unpacked for the first time but was found with dents and marks as well as scratches on the product. An appeal for product replacement was made. I waited for 20 working days (As mentioned by the customer service) but no call or notification came to me on this matter. My product was not replaced. After making repetitive calls to the customer care number, one of the person (Customer care executive) told me that my product replacement has been cancelled. When i asked for the reason they could not provide me with any further details. They said i would receive a call from the company's end within 48 working hours, unfortunately none called me. I called another time to whirlpool customer care and heard the same old story. When i informed them that i did not receive any call from their end, the person provided me with a phone number of mr. Arindam nandi. (Cell no.: +91 [protected])

I contacted mr. Arindam nandi (Ph no.-[protected]) and he stated me the reason for the rejection of the replacement of the product. He mentioned that it is there in the company's policy that for any product replacement, the complaint has to be initiated within 15 days of the purchase of the product. According to him (As it was showing in his system) i appealed for the replacement after 15 days, hence it was rejected.in reply to this i stated that i received this product after 15 days from the date of purchase. Then technically i made the replacement call within 15 days of their company's term. He asked me to show him some documents for proof.

I went to great eastern and collected a copy of the delivery challan. I whatsapp-ed all the documents along with the delivery challan to mr. Arindam nandi on 31.08.2017. Sadly, nothing till date changed or happened. He kept on adding hopes that the matter would be resolved. But nothing changed yet.

Meanwhile i contacted three landline phone numbers (Ph no.[protected] miss debashree,[protected] &[protected] mr. Diptesh ghosh) as provided by the whirlpool customer care but none picked it up.

I also contacted mr. Uttam of jain appliances sales & services (Cell no.: [protected]). (Even this phone number was provided from the customer care). He mentioned that he does have any authority in this matter. He can only help me by emailing to the higher authority. Hence, i provided him with all the details and photocopies of the documents. He asked me to contact him after a week to know the response of the mail. On 22.09.2017 i contacted him back and his response was negative. He suggested me to contact mr. Arindam nandi. According to him, only he (Mr. Arindam nandi) can help me with this issue. I re-contacted mr. Arindam nandi and his response was as usual. (Hopeful but fake, that's what i felt.)

My dealer, great eastern, barasat too have mailed from their part on 19.09.2017 but they did not yet receive any response from whirlpool's side.
I would also like to bring light on this fact that i have spoken to whirlpool customer representatives multiple number of times and every time they have assured me of a call back from their internal department / higher authority regarding this matter, as they are not much aware of my problem but till date i have got no calls nor any emails from whirlpool's end.

The washing machine is yet packed, just the way i received it from the dealer. Could not use it since the day i have purchased. Its boxed up, lying all dusted in a corner of my house. It's a matter of shame that i have paid for the product that i have never thought of and getting the service that i will never imagine to give someone.

It's a matter of fact that i have many whirlpool appliances in my home and using whirlpool products over 15+ years but this time, company's after sales service, response and customer care is unimaginable at its worst, is indifferent, non-responsive, reluctant, unprofessional and non-customer friendly behavior, that saddens me and shocks me to my core. I believe that this will be my last dealing with whirlpool and would happily like to detach myself as a customer from whirlpool's family and will never recommend anyone, rather suggest other brands.

I will never forget and never surrender on the service that whirlpool has provided me on this issue.

Current status (As on 09.10.2017):

Waiting for approval from the branch level (As per whirlpool customer care information).

Arindam nandi does not respose to my calls anymore despite several try.

    I have purchased a refrigerator 4 year back. Whirlpool provide most worst service i ever seen by any company for any kind of product. Apart from that company provide poor quality of accessories due to this plastic part usually
    Break on daily basis.
    1. It freezer door three times i have pay 800 rupees each time
    2. It freezer locked through ice so i not able to use freezer last 2year
    3. Many plastic part are. Broked like chips
    Very poor plastic material used for internal
    Plastic assesary

    I am fed of this product.

      Sir,
      I am ganapathi. U, i have purchased double door whirlpool fridge on[protected] with model no. 14814 and s. No: ina[protected]. I have raised a complaint in march 2017 (Under amc) to attend as there is no cooling at all. Technician visited and opened the fridge and told there is a leakage in the in the circuit, we have to replace with spare for that they took photos and told it will take one week or two weeks to get the spare, without repair they have closed my complaint. I was not in the station for the last three months, after coming back, i have once again raised complaint but nobody attended the issue still now. My complaint number is mr[protected]. Still the fridge is in opened condition. Daily i am calling customer care but nothing has happened. Please resolve the issue immediately.

        The refrigerator is not functioning properly. The compressor gets overheated and there is no ice formation in the freezer compartment. The service that the company claims to offer is very poor. The servicemen that the company sends are incompetent having no knowledge about the appliance. I have been calling multiple times at the customer care centre and still there is no reply from their side. The refrigerator is within the warranty period and still these guys are paying no heed to our complaint. Disgusted and disappointed with their service

          Washing machine has a recurring drainage problem. Company's customer service is very poor, i contacted the authorised dealer of our district, fatehpur, up. But the person supposed to come by, hasn't come yet to attend the complaint. It had been 4 days already, everyday i have been calling that person and he assures to come in 30 min or so yet he never came.

          As the company was notified of the complaint, there was a quick response from the company via telephone. The problems coming in the machine and about the poor servicing were listened and promptly responded. The problem was solved within 4 days and further assurance was provided.

            I had purchased whirlpool washing machine three days back still waiting for installation and demo. Mr. Varun from whirlpool had given a call to attend but didn't turn up. This is the worst service i ever experienced. I had number of choices but i selected whirlpool it was my bad luck. If you can't install and can't give demo then just return my money. I don't want such kind of worst response from a worst brand. I had purchased whirlpool washing machine from patra electronics, bhubaneswar, bapuji nagar..

              Bought a fridge from whirlpool it turned out defective there was water dripping issue. They exchanged again another fridge with same issue my vegetables get spoilt. The water accumulates in the box behind the fridge. The ice droplets form in the freezer.
              Fed up of the so called now again they have said they wil exchange why don't they quality check before despatch

                Wire that was connecting the board was bitten by rat, therefore gave a complaint to your third party service center (Trifold multi services) to address the issue, but till now they (Suresh service center manager) claims that the spare is not available and the way he is dealing with the customer is pathetic, i suppose whirlpool is not suppose to give there service to third party, this is completely spoiling the image of whirlpool, i request you to address this concern asap, i am loosing my piece of mind because of this issue.                   I purchased washing machine from whirlpool and is under amc/warranty. From last 20 days, 7th of sep'17 my machine is not working. I raised complaints on 12th of sep'17 with sr# hd[protected]. Till date no repair done by whirlpool and now they are asking to pay and exchange the machine with new one as spare are not available.
                  Multiple complaints raised via toll free number, sms, local call to tsp, bsm whirlpool team but still they are not responding with right approach.
                  Upon asking they are saying that my an unnecessary talking and asking for thing.. It is ridicules for such a big company to behave like this with customer.
                  Machine purchased in fully automatic -360 model which is supposed to be latest and the best model this company launched but surprisingly, it doesn't work for a year and now we are getting multiple issues.
                  From past 20 days we are washing manually and the investment made for this huge machine is useless to us. We are seeking for your help as we see not concrete commitment from service center. Pls, help.

                    I had extremely good faith and belief in the goodwill of your products and after sales services being offered by your company and why i had purchased a number of electrical appliances.

                    I had purchased a refrigerator "3200 - whirlpool ff refrigerator 300l fp 313d pvt roy alpha steel". I had purchased this on dated 07/05/2017 from lotus, bilaspur (C. G.) pin 495001 vide bill no. 94r1700379.

                    But, just within 3-4 months of its purchase, the lower part of the refrigerator's body had gone cracked automatically. Immediately i complained the matter to your service personnel at bilaspur (Chhattisgarh). The service personnel attended the service and said that it can not be replaced and suggested to repair through applying quick-fix or else. Another service personnel (M. No. [protected]) also told that it can't be replaced. But, i want to replace the new one.

                    I hereby attached the photo of damaged body of fridge and a bill copy.

                    Therefore, i earnestly requested to look into the matter & replace the fridge with new one in view the goodwill and reputation of your esteemed company.

                      I purchased the machine of 7.2 boom wash 360 top load on 10/01/16.
                      From last one year there is a problem with machine showing ss1 error during rinse cycle. Several times mechanic visited and changed motor, motor belt, sensor cable two times. Still problem is there.
                      Now the recent development is as mentioned below. I have raised the complain again and, today service engineer is visited to attend the complain. As per him the machine is to be shifted to whirlpool workshop. When i quiry who will shift the machine, they told customer has to shift the same. When i called over [protected] at 3:02pm on 22 sep 17 to confirm the same, whirlpool executive told i have to shift the machine to the service center at my own cost and risk.

                      As per user manual under limited warranty section, any damage to washing machine during transportation by purchaser is not covered under warranty, so how i can shift the same.
                      As per my transporter, cost will be rupees 4000 for to and fro, as service center is 45 km from my place, so who should bear the transport cost when machine is under warranty and problem is from last one year, which is purely technical and no operational fault.

                        We have purchased a whirlpool water purifier on 19th august 2017. It has been delivered and installed on 29th august 2017. On 30th august 2017 we have identified a leakage through the tap. The satya people asked us to contact the customer care whirlpool. We did that and in 20 days the service person has attended the problem 3 times. He changed the tap 3 times. The 3rd time it was yesterday 21st september 2017. Today when we called him again as the problem has not been sorted, the service person told to call satya enterprises for a replacement. It seems the product is having some defect.in this regard, i am writing to you for an appropriate action. This product has been completely changed our opinion about satya enterprises.

                        Very sad that i am not in a position to suggest any of my friends to purchase this product (Whirlpool water purifier).

                        The reputation of satya which has been created over years will be spoiled by selling such products.

                        Looking forward to an immediate and appropriate response.

                          We bought whirlpool 360 full automatic washing machine on 29.10.2015 (Product serial no. 221195) and within two months the water started gushing out from the bottom instead of the pipe. Twice we called the retailer we bought it from and next two times toll free customer care number of whirlpool. Each time the technician refixed the drainage pipe and said it wont happen again. It has happened again the fifth time within warranty period. Either they dont know wat they are doing, or the fixing point for the pipe is defective, result is flooding and my mother has to take a broom and clean the room. Understandable she would rather not use the machine at all.

                          On top of the substandard machine, the technician asked for money even though it is still in warranty phase, and the reason he gave was shocking. He said since we bought the machine from reliance retail (Axis mall, new town, kolkata) we will not get the warranty, since whirlpool has had a falling out with reliance retail. So every time we call for customer care, or if replacement of parts is needed we have to pay for it just like when machine is out of warranty period!!

                          This is highly ridiculous. First, the product is defective. Then, we are told this nonsense. Why should the customer suffer for issues between the two companies? Why does whirlpool make their products available at reliance retail, chroma or other such retailers then? Do consumers have to buy directly from their factory? We have bought a whirlpool product from a legitimate seller with proper documents, we were promised 8+2 years of warranty on the product and we expect to receive that.

                          I do not take kindly to being tossed between whirlpool and reliance every time i have to call customer care. Whirlpool should take responsibility for its product and should honor the terms of warranty. Infact, since its clear its a defective product that cant be fixed even after four attempts, i demand it be replaced with a properly functioning washing machine. This whole process has been so frustrating that since then we have bought half a dozen appliances and not one of them is whirlpool.

                          I was contacted by whirlpool and they contacted the service head of reliance retail also. Turns out they do have a policy where the servicing will be provided by the retailer and not whirlpool. I still believe it's a ridiculous policy and the servicing should be the responsibility of the company that manufactures the appliance.

                          Anyway, the technician sent by reliance just re fixed the pipe like the last four times and informed us that the pipe fixing mechanism is faulty but was very reluctant to write that in the report. I have no confidence that the problem will not recur.

                          Either that part needs to be replaced or the machine needs to be replaced by whirlpool we will not wait for the same problem to occur for the sixth time.

                            I did a contract with whirlpool for the washing machine of the same company at the time of contract they committed lots of things like cleaning of machine with powder provided by company and now service contractor deny the same.
                            Now as a customer i don't know what to do.
                            Whirlpool told our telemarketing contract with cyrus and authorised service center contract with shreeji marketing.
                            I did contract with cyrus and paid the charge in the name of whirlpool. But service provider did not agree with service contractor and company did not reply just politely says go and contact where you did the contract.

                            Kindly suggest me from where i recover my money back. Whirlpool cheated me.
                            But from now i never use whirlpool product or never suggest any one.

                              We are facing bitter experience by buying whirlpool products. Now scared about quality of your products. One ac problem we booked and we put amc done on 04.08.2017. More than 100 time s we asked your team they told everything comes under amc including coil. They told coil to be replaced under amc it will be done. Later that engineer told amc not punched wait for some more time. We called that engineer continuously. Finally after 20 days he came and told coil no stock wait for another one week. Again he didnt turn back then we called continuously he told no stock then later he told he met with an accident so contact customer care. Again we called customer care within 24 hrs engineer will come like that they told but engineer not came. Again we called customer care on 04.09.2017 and 07.09.2017. Finally another one team came today and they also returned back. We got call from service center that coil wont cover under amc. We really surprised our workmanship of whirlpool.
                              Then we have got call from service center anna nagar stating that amc not covered for coil then we argued with them. They finally accepted and told that within a week solve the issue under amc on 31.08.2017. Then we have called continuously and everyday they told that today problem will be solved like that, but finally they have not attended the call.
                              So totally their entire team cheated us by false commitment.

                                How to complaint aganist whirlpool perumbavoor service center
                                I call perumbavoor whoirlpool service center for repain my whirlpool washing mechine. There was defect in spin... Technician come and check he said wirekit need to change (Only complaint spin section) wash section was working properly... Technician agreet to bring wire kit and change.. Later same technician call and said should bring to workshop. And i delivered the mechine after that they saying very expensive to repair spin section.. Better buy new instead or repain.. So i agreed ok return.. They deliver on 19 spe 2017.. Mechine totaly spoil.. Now washing also not working

                                  I purchased the whirlpool refrigerator 215 litters single door on 30/06/2017 at bajaj electronics, boduppal branch hyderabad.. At the time of installation technician found it has no compressor he said. It will be replaced to you, i will send the complaint to the higher authorities he said. After that i met at branch and contacted executives, i appealed to replace another (Color) they agreed and they said to me it will be replaced in one week. After that i called to them but not responding properly. So till this day i did not received the refrigerator so kindly solve my problem as early as possible.

                                    I bought wirlpool refrigerator in last month, it is single door.
                                    From starting day one i am getting different issues with this product. All time company send a person called technician, he checked something and then told us there is no any problem.
                                    There is problem with transistor (Excess cooling happens in freezer)
                                    But technician decline just by looking fridge from outside.
                                    I am not getting proper service from wirlpool company and not getting replace product though it is under warranty.
                                    Whirlpool India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                      We bought a refrigerator proton on 2 weeks back.it is found that cool air from freezer is leaking from the corner.Due to the cool air leakage water drops accumulate inside the freezer always.we complained to the shop were we purchased it.they replaced it but the new one also has the same defect.we are fed up with the proton model of whirlpool fridge

                                        We bought top loading whirlpool fully automatic washing machine in jun 2015.
                                        It worked well for two years as mentioned in the warranty. But from the last month there was a heavy sound in the spin tub while rinsing and spinning.
