Product: Hooper premium gold electroplated Ss floor lamp standing
Ticket No: 127443
Ordered for the above mentioned product on 14th Jan 2024 and after not getting the same delivered after regular follow up requested for cancellation and refund of the amount.
I received couple mail stating that they are verifying certain delays within their own department and why this issue happened and then they will issue the refund.
23rd feb onwards I was stated that refund will be issued in 1-2 business days but the same is pending till date. Whenever I follow up a new person gives a false narrative and just buy in more time.
Please help it is stressful to just get the refund of own money.

    I have purchased a hydraulic bed, sofa set, lounge chairs on 19.06.2022 from their store in Andheri, mumbai for which the they delivered of sofa set and lounge chairs on 04.08.2022 and bed on 22.08.2022 for bed installation after continuous follow up they have send their carpenters for installation on 13.09.2022. On 31.08.2023 I have raised a ticket in their website with regard to the bed where is a sound for which I have received an email stating that product is out of warranty later on 31.08.2023 evening I have made a call to their customer care and I informed to one mr.garvit that though the bed was delivered on 22.08.2022 but it was installed on 13.09.2022 hence my claim is valid and it is within the warranty and it was accepted by then and he said he will send the carpenter for rectification later carpenter visited and said there is an issue with bed frame where there is a bend and it needs to be replaced and I will inform the same to my carpenter team and do follow up with the company and the issue has been dragged in between when I raised the issue again on 26.09.2023 and 27.09.2023 with regard to the same issue with ms.shirley and one person said to be a managers of carpenter department at their corporate office in udaipur and they assure that carpenter will visit and ask them to do video call to them directly later on 08.10.2023 they have sent the carpenter and we informed the same to do a video call to thier team for which he said he will not have any details to whom he will do video call instead he will take a video and share with their carpentry team. On 09.10.2023 I have also received a mail from wooden Street that they will be going to check with the carpenter and update me but there is no response. In between I have send 3 mails but there is no reply hence I made a call to their customer care again on 28.10.2023 where in i have informed all the story to one ms.trisha she said she will be arranging a carpenter and escalating the issue to the carpenter team after half an hour I have received a call from their carpentry team manager ms.shirley she is telling that sorry that your concern on the bed issue is out of warranty.we cannot do anything now. Even I explained her that warranty will start from the date of installation not from the date of delivery and you have charged for the product including installation but she is not agreeing and said sorry sir we cannot rectify the issue.

      Furniture Order

      I am a customer of your organization Wooden street. I had placed an order for a couple of items on 24th of March of which one of the item delivery is still pending. I have reached out to your customer care but in vain as they are never attending calls or giving me a strong time line for delivery. I was a big fan of your company and have purchased a few item for myself and my family in the past, I understand for big orders a delivery time...

      I had ordered for a wall rack, and paid the site in advance after that there was no communication from thier end, also no delivery date was given.

      I have been going to thier site every second day and placing a inquiry for my order but they have not replied back with any details, and when I tried tracking my order on thier site it showed that it was not even in the "In Process" stage.

      It is now over 9 days and they did not respond it was only after I informed them that I would be placing a complaint against them through this platform did they respond back today stating logistic issues, this could not have been the case because after waiting for 9 days for them to respond

      I placed an order for the same piece, thru a different furniture site and they immediately processed the same, also the vendor for both the sites is the same so logistics could not have been a issue.

      I request to please take some strict action against this company - mine may have been a small amount but there are others also whom they have harrassed and whose orders they have delayed for months and then have sent either damaged or undervalued products.

      Sites like this who have no consumer responsibiltiy shoudl be taken to task since we as consumers have no way to get through to them as they operate through BOTs and even the phone numbers showcased on the site is always answered by a machine. The consumer after paying is left at a dead end in such cases and has no other option but to take what they receive.

        Delivery is delayed without any given reason

        I had ordered a sofa on 7 Aug from Wooden street. The delivery timeline was given 5 to 7 weeks. Now its almost 9 weeks and the customer service people are calling and saying that the delivery will be delayed. They are doing this everyday and when a reason is being asked, they can't answer. This is the worst service and customer care service that we received from the company. Strict action should be taken against them....

        I ordered decorative plates. 7 total for over 5000 Rs. They forwarded my order to some company called quirky india which makes the worst quality of products. The print on the plates was poor thick pixels, incoherent, non-symmetric. Half the designs sent to me were wrong and not what i ordered. The entire order was just complete garbage. Nothing looked half as good as the images on their website. Just completely got duped by them. Its been over 4 weeks and my complaint has not been resolved. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. Just another garbage Indian scammer out there to loot people.

          I paid 44000 and placed my order on 22nd dec 2021 for a dining set. It’s been 1.5 month and the dining set is undelivered. The product is not shipped from their factory and the status is unchanged. Every time I call customer care, they give the standard answer of 1-2 weeks. They get the full money and don’t deliver products.

            With great agony I have been left with no option but to raise the immense mental harassment I and my family have been going through since the last 5+ months after ordering products worth close to 1 Lacs Rupees from Wooden Street.

            Detailed below are the various issues and the interactions that we had with Wooden Street lousy non-supportive customer service team:

            1.) Allan TV unit – Order ID: 168231 – Cost = Rs. 22, 549 :

            a. We ordered this product on 24th July, 2021 which was finally delivered on 13th Aug, 2021. This was ordered through guidance from Wooden Street Whitefield Showroom executive Mr. Abhishek.

            b. We have been trying persistently to get replacement for the TV Unit since August as the drawers were severely jammed and the top was broken.

            c. We contacted Abhishek and even visited the Whitefield Showroom and met him in person for raising our complaint and for helping us resolve the issues. But we were directed to the Customer Service Team and were informed that the only option is to call and raise a complaint on the customer care numbers or raise a service ticket on the website.

            d. Never experienced such an apathy from the Brands own Showroom/Experience Center where they are not at all bothered to help the customer.

            e. The carpenter who attended our complaint on 25th of Nov, 2021 after persistent follow-up and multiple tickets raised for the same instead of resolving the issue broke the drawer, the drawer handle and the drawer base unit sides were all scratched and a prominent crack was also now visible.

            f. We were informed by the carpenter that the Top replacement will be done in a weeks’ time but till date no one has bothered to attend to our complaint even after making calls to the customer support again and again.

            2.) Prima Kitchen Cabinet – Order ID 178214 – Cost = Rs. 22, 449:

            a. This product was ordered on 25th Aug, 2021 and delivered on 10th Sept, 2021 and damaged product was delivered. The door of the cabinet was shaky and had pathetic alignment because of which operating the door has been very difficult. The entire cabinet shakes while opening the door. This was raised to the delivery person at the time of delivery itself and he reassured us that Wooden Street will send a carpenter and will resolve the issue being faced.

            b. On further verification of the product we found many places there were cracks and big holes making us realize that Quality Check doesn’t seem to be an area that Wooden Street has invested in or the people who have been allocated the work are as shoddy as their customer service team.

            c. We finally raised an online complaint ticket on 1st Oct, 2021 when all our calls to the customer care team for sending a carpenter were not actioned upon. Its should be shameful for Wooden Street CEO to know that their customer support team who were supposed to take action on the complaint deleted our ticket without even trying to understand the ordeal that we have been facing or taking any positive action.

            d. We then raised another complaint ticket on 19th Oct, 2021 after which a carpenter finally visited us on 25th Nov, 2021.

            Hope Wooden Street is ASHAMED of this as well. Their super inefficient team took exactly 76 days to attend to the complaint of the customer. I want to ask them a question: Is there any TAT that they have mandated for their Customer Support Team to answer and resolve the customer complaint. Would like to gladly enlighten them that most of the companies that have ventured in the Online shopping arena follow a clear process for handling customer complaints and have a defined TAT for the same. I had to write ‘MOST’ because the ordeal that I have been going through clearly shows that no such process are being followed by Wooden Street since people like you who are at the helm of the affairs do not seem to be bothered about providing good customer service and have not ensured that firstly, a good quality product delivery is required to be successful Online Shopping Company and further an efficient Customer Service has to be in the DNA of the organization. Wooden Street r team have failed miserably in both areas.

            My wife has undergone Herniated Disc Surgery in Sept month this year. Can Wooden Street CEO Lokendra Ranawat and other sensible people in his company understand what will happen to us if the shaky cabinet falls on her while opening the door or how her health is at risk because of the misaligned drawer which requires full force every time it has to be opened?

            We have been pleading for replacement since a long time and it’s already January which is 5 months from the time that we ordered the products.

            We now do not trust Wooden Street company and your products and want a refund for the products now. It was disheartening for us when Wooden Street team itself told us that there is no guarantee that the replacement product will be of better quality than the one delivered to us.

            We want to return both the products and get refund and also compensation equal to the cost of the products i.e. Rs.22549 + Rs. 22549 for the mental harassment and the physical pain borne by my wife (who had her herniated disk surgery in September 2021) in trying to operate this broken and defective products. Its really sad to see our hard earned money go to waste because of the sub-quality and damaged products and services provided by Wooden Street and because of the lousy attitude and no resolution provided by the company we are unable to replace this product which is lying idle and taking space in our house. So we would ask Wooden Street to pay us rent for dumping their broken products in our house at the rate of 100 rupees per day for each product since the day we made the 1st complaint to them.

              Hello Vinay,

              First thing I want to mention about your service is very very very bad. Your customer service representatives out of the mark by giving worst service.

              I ordered laptop table and it is damaged. I requested to cancel my replacement order.
              Because your product is very poor and quality is poor.

              I don't want to use your service again and i don't want to use your product as I loosed your trust.

              So kindly cancel my replacement order and refund my money back to my original payment method.

                I have purchased sofa and sofa cover from wooden street on 17th oct.
                Sofa delivered in damaged state.
                sofa cover is not delivered yet even after 40 days.

                I have created numerous complaints on site but they are not fixing or return the product.
                Also they are not delivering the sofa cover.
                They are misbehaving with us when we complaint that the product is damaged.

                  Product delivered is damaged one, they need to reverse pick up and deliver the quality one BUT, they are not at all responsive, Since 2 months struggling to get the right product, whatever they deliver is a damaged and quality is absolutely 0. they kept the product in my room like in dump yard and the package smells very bad, getting health issues with that pathetic smell since last couple days, aged person at home getting affected as well. Been sent emails, WhatsApp messages, call to helpdesk 'N" number of times but no customer service.

                    Out of great difficulties, after 2.5 months we received the product on Monday 18.oct.21 with damaged pack and with poor packing without any plastic sheet to protect scratches on the laminates (please check the delivery slip mentioned about damage )..
                    21.oct.21 two carpenter from wooden street furniture came for assembling. when the carpenter opened the package, we were shocked to see poor quality of the flimsy furniture (study table)with scratches, stains, chipped mica lamination, broken table bushes and even top writing board was with lots of dirty stains, scratches and edge beading damaged ……very very pathetic. I don’t understand what quality check they carried out ??
                    As per specification mentioned in the website - plastic edge bending mentioned as 2mm but in actual no edge beading was seen!! Instead of that - mica has been pasted all around with 0.5mm edge beading only which was totally against as per specification mentioned in their website & that sharp edges causing damages to my child now… and only for the door 2mm edge beading used. This is purely cheating the customer by giving poor quality finish!!
                    It’s totally not worth for the money and we wasted the time for 2.5 months to receive such defective kind of product, we asked the carpenter to take back but Anna Nagar wooden street manager promised to replace the furniture totally in brand new condition and with the said specification (plastic edge beading 2mm all around) or else they will refund the money immediately but till now[protected]we have not received proper response from wooden street furniture about our refund many mails and phone calls exchanged but no use... instead they have sent again couple of MDF board which is useless for us..

                      It was our first-time order with Wooden Street with discussion along with a sale representative.

                      During sales, they drive you crazy with follow-up and ensuring to take 100% down payment with a commitment of 5-7 weeks.

                      This is when your worst fear come alive. Once they receive money, the only thing customer is left with is frustration.

                      1. No commitment to keep customer order as per schedule.

                      2. No courtesy to inform/update customer of his order status/delays or any process there upon.

                      3. No customer support nor any mobile number provided respond on time or within first 4 to 5 calls (ringing).

                      4. No calls backs or response to help desk tickets for days (one of my tickets was auto deleted from portal).

                      5. You are left with your order amount out of your pocket and empty hands with no product.

                      6. Contacted Ankush, Rohan, Rahul (all are never aware of status). Only response you get from them is: "System is down", "I will get back to you in 1 hour or give us time till tomorrow to revert".

                      7. They never call back or revert with details ever.

                      8. It took me 32+ calls and waiting time till October 1st for my order to be delivered. Booked on 25th July 2021 (approx. 2+ months).

                      9. Then starts the new phase of challenges: Order delivered not as per order (order removable cushions with additional covers).

                      10. No removable cushions provided (sofa delivered with fixed cushions) and no additional covers which were ordered.

                      11. It took another 6 days to chase down to finally to manage a final resolution of accepting a defective sofa as they cannot change or repair the problem with credit note for refund for covers. Additional 1 hour of discussion and finally agreed to refund to account rather than credit note.

                      12. This was evening of 6th October as confirmed by support person and to agree to acknowledge this on an email within 1 hour.

                      13. It’s been more than 12 hours and no response from wooden street or support team.

                      To end this all I don’t have an idea when the refund will be deposited back to our account or how many days or follow ups will be needed to close this case with wooden street.

                      Our advice: run away from these people or any of their contact points. You will get in to a vicious circle of problems and more problems.

                      My brother too had similar problems but lucky for him, he had his problems sorted out in somewhat less time.

                      Never in my life dealt with such a bad customer services, delivery challenges and post sales service.

                        Worst Worst Worst - Totally Crap Platform. They are just making money by showcasing good photos of furniture.

                        I have ordered a chair 4 months ago and it has still not got delivered. Poor customer service.

                        Don't buy anything from Wooden Street.

                          I placed a study table online from www.woodenstreet.com on 16 Aug 2020 and as per their delivery policy it take 5-7 weeks but, it is more than 10 weeks I have not received my product. Delivery continuously delayed and even after so many follow up, there is no response from wooden street.
                          On 19th Oct 2020 they came with product but, that too was defective and immediately informed to wooden street customer care team. And asked them to resolve all issues before delivering. Now to my utter surprise there is no revert and call from wooden street. I requested them for my refund but, they refuse to refund and I have to take product whenever they feel like to deliver the product.

                            We ordered furniture through Wooden Street on 30th May 2020. The order was for Centre table, Sheesham wood wardrobe and TV unit. The total value is Rs.60, 246.
                            We got a confirmation call next day and we were told that it will take 5-7 weeks. We got the centre table today and I was so disappointed to see the quality. Though they promised the wood would be treated, but the quality is received was pathetic.
                            The table top was cracked. The metal base was bent. Metal discoloration of the legs at multiple places and they badly had sprayed some yellow colour on the golden legs.
                            The table top alignment was out of proportion - In some places, the legs were protruding.
                            I had called the customer care to express dissatisfaction after trying multiple times and was promised a callback with resolution but didn't hear from them. My emails are not getting answered. I want my money back with compensation for the entire order as I have lost trust in them.

                              I purchased furniture from Wooden Street website on[protected] and paid Rs 22, 804.

                              It's been over 53 days and I have not received the product yet, I need a refund for this product.

                              I ordered a chair and a Table to setup the home office as I am working from home for the past 2 months, wooden street is not delivering the product and due to unavailability of the proper home office setup, I have started to have severe neck pain, my health is suffering because of this situation.

                              Wooden street is refusing to refund the amount and not delivering the product, their customer support is very poor and unhelpful. I feel like that they have stolen my money and I cannot do anything about it.

                              I do not want to wait to wait for delivery of product anymore, I need a refund from Woodenstreet ASAP.

                                After ordering a bar from the online furniture store, wooden street. It has not been delivered even after 9 weeks. Promised time was 7 weeks and customer support team doesn't answer queries and misleads you. Before ordering, they make false promises and after ordering, didn't inform about the delay. Takes 10 calls to get someone on the phone and when they get on the phone with you, they lie to you. Even if you want to cancel the order and get a refund, they don't allow that. This is completely illegal and unethical. Please avoid buying furniture from them.

                                  Dear sir,

                                  i had placed an order for a wooden chest online on[protected] and paid over rupees 15989/= for it by amex card. Till september 10th i have not received the product. Their chat line gives false assurances. Their customer care phone also is using delaying tactic. Customer id is 35132. I want to lodge a strong complaint as i feel they are probably defrauding a lot of people. Also please guide me as to how i can lodge a legal complaint against this company.
