cod shipment — unable to deliver at the promised time

BLUE DART is unable to deliver the complaint on the given time. AWB NO :[protected] from delhi to hyderabad as is received the sms stating that the shipment will be delivered on 1st Nov 2010 when I called the customer care dept they gave me the status that the shpt is still lying at delhi and that they do not have any thing to do regarding the delay. When I enquired the sms that was sent to me they claimed that it was the mistake. The funniest answer that i got by a no.1 company thats great. Even other courier companys deliver the shpt by the given time.
