Ingram case [incident:[protected]]4 the matter has not been resolved to our satisfaction. The communication with xiomi and bhatia is still open. The statement by xiomi which reads as "xiaomi shall provide free of charge repair and/or replacement services within the warranty period". The above statement is not fulfilled on the grounds of misleading/confused and incorrect statements from valsad and surat xiomi service centers. Valsad service center states that the circuit is burnt hence warranty has expired and surat center states that phone has been opened at unauthorized center and hence warranty has expired. Both the statements are baseless even if true as phone is under warranty period and by no means the company mi can claim/ask for repaiting/service charges. Without wasting any precious time on fruitless and baseless communication, the company has take ownership to get the phone serviced/repaired at no extra cost.
Company remark : as informed customer earlier through e-mail, the handset was opened by at unauthorized sc. Hence, the same was not covered under warranty. Rajith

Xiomi phones are the worst phones and the services are horrible with paid services despite warranty. The service center staff including business heads are unco-operative. They does not understand the language of peace and courtsey. Simply bycot redmi phone and spread the message through all social medias like facebook, instagram, twittter and local newspaper.
