Xiaomi India — Brand new redmi note 3 | |||
After reading rave reviews on ndtv i purchased a new redmi note 3 32 gb silver directly online from mi store. Imei no of the phone is [protected] and its serial no is 12664/20095251 and i received it on 02 august 2016. Within 15 days the phone showed hardware problems. On carrying out the test informed by xiaomi mi customer support, speakers, blue tooth and some other tests too showed hardware errors. On using an apple headphone with it, it went intol ock mode. Xiaomi mi told me to go to their service centre. I was shocked to see the crowd of people demanding service in the service center and complaining about the quality of and numerous problems with their new or in warranty mi phones. When finally my turn came. I was asked to wait for almost an hour and then told that the motherboard was faulty, would have to be replaced and will take 25 days. No replacement. The total disregard of the customer is shown by this. This with a brand new phone. Inspite, of their limited warranty statement posted at their site they do not replace the phone, or will do so only within 10 days of purchase.in my case the delivery took place after 12 days of purchase/payment, hence no replacement!!! I will never recommed this company to anyone and would like to dissuade others from buying their products. Nishat Was this information helpful? | |||
