This is nitish Kumar from Hyderabad India. I purchased one MI Max Gold at the beginning of November 2016 through online shopping portal Amazon.
The device accidentally fell down from my hand recently and screen cracked immediately.
I made one visit to MI Authorised service Center at Begumpet and submitted by device for replacement of screen. The customer care executive issued me receipt for the same and also informed that they would be charging me Rs. 7500 for screen replacement. Post my agreement she informed me that replacement would take minimum ten days time. even she informed me that the service charges would be payable post service only.
Post my arrival at my home, I received one SMS from service center that my devise is not under warranty and accordingly I should contact service center again.
I lodged the matter to Xiaomi on their service complaint email id that I have not been informed that I have to make advance payment and I would pay the service charges post service. It is also difficult to make round and round of service center But I got their reply that I should compulsory make visit to the service center today and should make advance payment.
Accordingly I made a visit to the center and to my utmost surprise, center was closed for the day. Here please note that as per SMS, email and web portal center should have been open today.
Post coming back to my home, I again requested to service my devise and I would be paying the service charges when I would be back from my official travel on 24th But I received another reply that I should make advance payment then only devise would be serviced.
Here I am feeling as cheated by Xiaomi as niether phone met its commitment of quality of glass and exploitations being made by service center. Was this information helpful? |
