Xiaomi India — mi max 2. apps not opening

This is a 1 month old purchase and i am facing a lot of problems with it. Most of the apps are not opening or taking ages to open. Songs are not getting played.net connection is okay and i have even updated to the latest software version which was available in the phone settings. Please help. I have been a mi customer for a long time now.
