I had Purchased MI TV 4X 138.8 cm Ultra HD in october 2020
In May 2022 the TV started giving colors on the screen. I raised a repair request through XIOMI help line Number on 10 May 2022. I was told the technician would visit us and repair it. But to my surprise the technician called and said that if you bring the TV to his repair center he would repair it fast. We took the TV to the repair center but he quoted a exoberant rate and when aske why such a high cost he insulted us and said you are 1947 era but the cost of the part (board) he said should be replaced was costing 8900 INR precisely as per the Xiomi Helpline number. We took back the TV and request was not at all ateended.
After a week I raised a compliant with the helpline number, the complaint was closed without being attended by anyone from Xiomi stating that the customer was not available
After 15 days from This i raised a second complaint, and requested not to assign the same engineer but the same engineer came with a board which was not matching and said he got a wrong board. Again the complaint was closed stating the customer was satisfied
I raised a third complaint on 10/06/2022. I was informed that i had updated the wrong serial number hence a wrong board has come. To my surprise i Had never given any one the serial number of the TV. It was the technician who had updated. I was also informed that within 7 days they would repair the TV
I gave the correct serial number of the TV S/N : 25622/[protected]. The same technician came with the new board again the same out come. He took back the board.
After 7 days that is on 18/06/2022 i called the same helpline number. I have been told that by 23/06/2022 the TV would be repaired. This time i got 3-4 calls.
My complaint is
1. Does it take one and half months to repair a TV
2. Is XIOMI service so worst
3. Is Xiomi service under a service engineer
4. Does Xiomi have any Complaint redressal mechanism
5. Should customers Trust Xiomi
