Xiaomi India — not happy with the response of service centre and backup team. | |
Hi, We are brand customer of xiaomi phones. Me and my wife both are using smart phones of your company. Two months back i had given mobile at one of your service centre in hyderabad (Pin-500015) as my mi a1 mobile was immersed in water and display screen was broken. They charged me rs. 5500 and changed the display screen and dried out the water. They told me that now it is under 3 months warranty. Almost after 2 months, my display stopped working while all other functionalities are rendering fine. I took it again to same service centre. Now they are saying i've to pay rs. 7500 more as display connector is not functioning due to water clog and hence whole mother board need to change. My concern is, 1. How did they dried it in first service if water was still remain there and made the connector non functional? 2. What is the use of getting 3 months warranty if they are not ready to repair/replace it back? 3. They are saying, as per comp policy even if small defect happen with any part of mother board (Psb) whole mother board need to change.in open market display connector cost is just rs. 35, why i should bear the entire cost of mother board just due to customer unfriendly policy of company? I request you to please address this issue or share the details to concern authority to sort out my grievance. You help in this regard will be highly appreciated.
