[Resolved] Xiaomi India — Redmi note 3 - battery draining problem - replacement not processed | |||||
Bought a Redmi Note 3 (Gold) on 5th July (Order No : [protected]) . The phone was delivered on 11th July after which i started noticing the battery draining very fast requiring charding everyday. I enquired with other friends who had the same phone and they were having 2- 3 battery backup. I called up customer care on 18th of July and complained about the same and i was asked to do the test below 1) Wait until charge comes to 15% 2) Recharge phone fully till it is 100% 3) Switch to Airplane Mode 4) Wait for 6 - 7 hours 5) If Battery drops below 85% then it is an issue. I did the above test and the results were worse than expected as the charge went below 75% in 6 hours itself. I then raised a complaint[protected] on 20th July. I was told that a replacement would be processed and i received an email on 25th July asking me to pack the phone and keep it ready for reverse pickup. Since then till today i am still waiting for the Pickup. I have called 15 times or more to the customer care but i keep getting the same answer as below - issue has been escalated to the concerned department - i am personally escalating this issue - it will take 24 - 48 hoursa - someone from the concerned department will get back to you - i understand your concern but we will surely help you Was this information helpful? | |||||
