I had bought redmi note 3 in oct 2016 from amazon. Phone started giving problem of not charging since feb 2017. Visited customer care center and got the mother board and charging tray changed. Same prob occurred again in april and same process of mother board changing happened at customer service center.in may again the phone stuck with same problem and i got that fixed by changing motherboard at a service center. Got agitated with this phone and requested the company to replace the phone but they refused to do so by saying we are servicing you free of cost and that is the best we can do. I told them very categorically that this problem will resurface again very soon as there is some prob with this handset but to they did not heed to that. Now today on 14th june again i faced same problem of phone not getting charged and visited their esteemed service centre only to be told that the motherboard needs to be changed. I just do not understand what this warranty means in legal perspective and customer service perspective!! Warranty doesnt mean i visit every month to the service center for repair of a product with same problem... Just in case when the warrannty will expire in oct 2017 and i get this same problem the it will cost me huge 6500 rupees to get the motherboard changed... So on a phone of rs. 11k can xiaomi suggests one person from their own company who can afford to spend 6.5k every month to change the motherboard for the same problem??? Hope to get the resolution... Ad surely i would not take the same phone back this time.. It has to get replaced or else i will take a legal recourse and take it to the conclusion..
