Xiaomi India — Redmi note 3 display complaint | |||
Sir, I purchased my redmi note 3 last july 2016. I had sky high expectations on the performance and to be honest it was highly performing upto my expectation level. Very soon display had a colour change of yellow and start spreading in the top left corner. Since it was not disturbing my day to day phone activities i didnt bother. Couple of weeks ago dispaly started hanging up, taking photos as its own like abnormal things started happening and i went to service center at thrissur, kearala which is nearest to me. It was around 2 weeks back. They checked my phone and said it has a display problem they will replace it free of cost. They said they dont have the display in stock and will contact you in a week. By that time my phone was unusable and could not do a single function properly. I patiently waited and i got a call from them two days ago saying that display stock has arrived. Unfortunately yesterday something dropped on my phone display and it broke. Today when i went to the service center they are refusing to do free of cost as it is broken. I told them when i came and checked last time, you had agreed the fact that display is complaint and now they have a reason to charge me. What kind of ethics is this? I am supposed to get it free of cost two weeks ago and just because u didnt have the stock, i had to wait and now it has been picturing like it is complete customer fault and to be paid for the service. Just make a case against service center those who made a fault. Also at the time of submitting your phone in service centers they would give the job card for your service. In that they must mention that whether it is manufacturing defect or consumer fault. If you have the same means suite them a case in consumer court and explore the feasible solution against this issue.
