Xiaomi India — redmi note 4 hanging and not functioning properly

My redmi note 4 is not functioning properly. i am unable to even open my phone and use it without the phone hanging. the apps are opening and closing on its own, the phone keeps vibrating whenever i open the phone. The messages are automatically getting typed and the phone is making calls on its own. though its been only 8 months, it is getting very problematic for me to work. The serial number of my model is [protected], X000SU007D. Product model number 2016100. this incident started from 1st of september, 2018 and its been recurring ever since.
