Xiaomi India — Sold defective product | |||||
Sir i have purchased mi5 phone from your website mi.com.The phone started giving problems from the very first date.Firstly phone was heating too much, then after few days phone it rebooted by itself a many times.i told the customer service of mi about the heating issues on the very next day they told to update the phone.first of all the update was of 1.5 gb and it was not getting updated on a normal connection, i have to update via 4G net.After updating the phone the problem still persisted after usage of 2-3 days.And now today 7 august i noticed another problem that the gps of phone is not working. My concern is that i have been sold a defective product and this is not expected from such a big company. I have requested mi customer service to replace my defective phone but they are denying saying that u should have requested for replacement on the day when i told them about the problem on the next day of purchase.i again told them about the problem on 11th day of purchase now they are telling that i should have told for replacement on the day when i told about the problem. I[censored] r selling a new product and problems are coming in your phone so u should automatically grant grace period to check that the problem is still persisting or not. I have request please replace my defective product. Or i have only option to go to consumer forum.
