Xiaomi India — unable to connect mobile hotspot to laptop

I recently ordered redmi 6a and receive my parcel on 4th dec. Now i am unable to connect my mobile internet through hotspot inspite of all settings required for wireless connection. My new mobile hotspot menu do not have device identification option so can't search for laptop wifi, while my friends redmi 5a connect automatically. My mobile hotspot connects with other mobiles wifi but not with laptop. All laptop setting are as per required for wireless connection. I called mi customer care but my problem is not resolved. My phone s charging port wasn't working within 3 months of purchase, repaired it once. Same problem within 4 days of repair. Now the earphones slot is not working. I'm completely unsatisfied about my phone. I need replacement asap.
