Xiaomi India — unwarranted locking due to wallpaper carousel

I am using no note4 for over a year. On 02nd february, 2018 unfortunately did the sin of downloading wallpaper carousel for lock screen. Since then it is not accepting finger print. It is asking password. I typed what i remembered. But it got locked and i am asked to format. It ruined all my meetings. I deeply regret buying this hopeless device from cheap minded company.
