Xiaomi — Mobile replacement refused!!

I have been a consistent customer of mi. i recently ordered a phone redmi 3 note (gold). it was a gift for my sister. i was not satisfied with the color. i could not compromise the gift so i contacted service for replacement by honestly telling them this situation. (many fake the replacements.. but not me)..
They brutally refused.
I am even ready to give extra bucks for a different color. but they said it was "not in their policy". their policy also states customer satisfaction. irony...
