[Resolved] Xolo — Opus 2 not working properly from Day1 of Purchase | |||
Mobile no. [protected] IMEI no. [protected]/[protected] I purchased a XOLO Opus2 on the 16th of August, 2014 from the “Mobile.com” store in Vasai West, Maharashtra. The same evening I encountered a problem on the Play Store of the phone, and the phone started malfunctioning. I went to the store, Mobile.com, on the 17th, where the store executive, formatted my phone and gave it back to me saying that it was because of some virus maybe and made me buy an anti virus pack. On 18th, I again encountered the same problem and this time, I could not even use my phone to make a call, because the error message was constantly blinking.. Went back to the retailer on the 19th, who directed me to the service centre in Vasai. Reaching the Vasai service centre, I came to know that the service centre at vasai was closed and that, I would have to travel 40 kms to Borivali to another service centre. Anyway, my experience at Borivali Service centre was not bad, as the staff, Prakash in particular was very courteous and was also very prompt in his services. He reloaded the play store and the handset started working properly. 20th August, the data connection of my phone is getting switched off automatically, frequently. I called up the Borivali Service centre for help, who welcomed me to the centre again tomorrow. I would like to know, that do you think, I made a mistake by switching my loyalties from Sony and Samsung to Xolo. I purchased, two Xolo handsets, a 1010i and the other Opus2. I bought the Opus2, because I did not get a 1010i in black color. Please give me some relief from this pain, as visiting the service centre means a day off from work for a reason not good enough.
