[Resolved]  Xolo — Pathetic After Sales Services

I bought XOLO A500S Lite phone on June 14, 2014. From Day 1 the phone has issues with touch. I contacted the service center and they updated the software and gave it back to me but there was no fix for the issue.

After that they told me that I have to submit the phone for which they would need original bill and a Xerox to attach with the complaint sheet. Since I was not carrying the bill with me I had to return that day and then again I went and submitted my phone on July 12, 2014 and the technician at service center told me that they have to submit the phone and touch would be replaced. I have submitted the phone and Notification No for the same is [protected] and have not received any update on this.

Service center I have submitted the phone at is in Laxminagar, Sagar Plaza behind V3S Mall, Delhi. this is the worst service center I have visited in my life. I keep on trying to call them at[protected], either they do not pick the phone or they will pick the phone and keep the receiver away so that if after wasting your [censored]ing time if you call these [censored]ing people again your are screwed up and get the message "Line Busy".

This is not the first incident of appalling services from XOLO Service Center. I have Xolo Q700, Q800, A500S and Opus 1000 used by my family members and they all purchased this brand on my recommendation of good performance and I do not have any doubt on that but I swear that I would never ever recommend XOLO to a single person now due to their after sale services.

In Feb 2014, I went to the same [censored]ing service center as the battery of my XOLO Q700 had swollen and they submitted the battery and it took complete month for this Brand to replace my battery and give me a new one.

In June 2014 my XOLO Q700 had a charging problem and I again visited the same service center as to my [censored]ing luck that is the nearest to my location and they advised that the motherboard would be replaced and guess what gave the same time frame "one month", they gave me the handset back and now the charging problem was gone but the SIM 2 slot stopped to detect my SIM and I went to them again and they said that I have broken the pin of the SIM Slot due to which it is not working and repairing would cost 3500 rupees. I do not know how can a person in a time of 30 minutes break the SIM Slot pin. I was so fed up that I gave up on that phone and have replaced it with Micromax Unite.

I am moving over with this brand which has the worst after sale service of all, it takes a month for them to fix any issues with any model phones in their brand and if you ask for standby handset that is not in their policy. Their repair factory is in Noida and still it takes this much time I wonder if it was in Banglore what it would have been?

It seems their strategy to keep the phone for a month so that your warranty period for that time is lapsed because if you would use the phone much you would run in an issue and within warranty they would have to fix it.

Last but not the least, I have decided to move to court against XOLO for A500S Lite and sue them for this pathetic consumer service and I promise by heart would not even think of any more XOLO phones and would suggest all of your to purchase if you are ready to spare the phone for months in service center if the problem arise which is a definite positive with XOLO brand, after 7-8 months you take any model you would have charging problems. I have with all the models I have but now have no time to spare on these stupid technicians who take months for all issues with phones and have given up on going to them for the same.

PLEASE BUY XOLO AT YOUR OWN RISK, CONSIDERING THE SET AS OUT OF WARRANTY CHINA PHONE
