Dear all,

This is to inform you (Hyderabad People) that the service center located in somajiguda named "Venkatestwara Servicing Center" is providing a very bad service and even careless too. they not even clean/wash the bike on delivery(that's not what i mean).

People first start looking up whether it is a sevice center or a typical local mechanic shed.

I met with an accident and my bike's handle has been bended. I have informed about it to the service center person. while on the delivery time they convinced me that they have solved the problem it is straight. But that's not true.

And here is the new way to put customers to think about TEFLON COATING.
There is no wonder to use that coat, as these people insisting to go for it saying it protects from sunlight and scratches ...etc. Off course it does for 3 -4 days and then the bike's color goes dim.
So i suggest you not to use Teflon coating at all (as original Teflon coat is not available everywhere).

I go servicing for my two weeler FZ 16 in Andheri, mumbai but they are say your servicing time finish but RC book Shows 20/12/2008 & I give two servicing in malad in that Dt .They shows motor byke booking Dt . but My RC book show selling dt, in that case I want my third servicing If you not giving my motor servicing period I says to media for yur bad servicing.

    the motorcycle which i purchased was having improper alignment of front wheel.its handle was tilted to the left.i went to service centre wakdewadi and told the manager nitin but there was no response from him.even i kept the bike for the day but still he didnt make it right.he told me that now ur bike is in proper condition.he was fooling me as if i was new born bike rider.i expect some action to be taken because i have paid the price rs73049 for the bike.

    I bought bike YAMAHA FZ 16 in january 20th, in a while my rear aloy wheel and tyre cracked, we are given to local yamaha service centre i.e Nataional motors, siliguri, west bengal, service centre agree this is manufacturing defect but company not replace on it.. or it will take long time for process... my bike now lying at service centre from 09.03.09 .. why we suffering this type of manufacturing problem .. i think company get replaced on immediate basis..

    plz help me out for this problem ...aloy wheel and tyre shuld replace on immediate basis

    i agree with what the others have been sayin . i bought a yamaha fz-s on 26th june and within a week the digital instrument cluster stopped workin, i was told that it would take 10 days to replace . i am seriously dissapointed with yamaha's customer care as i can understand if it takes 3days or so but 10 days in todays age, come on yamaha !!! they really need to pull up their socks in terms of service as if they dont whatever respect their Fz n R15 models have earned will be lost .As for me i am begining to regret my decision of goin for the yamaha instead of a pulsar 200 .
    YAMAHA REALLY NEEDS TO IMPROVE THEIR SERVICE...THEY TAKE ALL THE COMPLAINTS VERY LIGHTLY...EVEN I HAVE STARTED BELEVIN DAT THEIR MAIN AIM IS TO JUST SELL BIKESSS...

      I have bought FZ16 from yamaha dealer from Vikhroli Mumbai and after 2 services i had a problem regarding speedo meter not working so i visited dealer for complaining for the same but till now i have recieving only fals commitments always saying that "parts in transport it will reach soon" "we will call you soon" but we have never recieved any possitive responce from there even we visited service station at Thane but still same, now it almost 1 month gone but my yamaha fz16 speedo meter not working.

      very disaster customer service.

        Sir,
        I purchased yamaha FZ16 on 4th of jan 09 from vanraj traders rudrapur in uttarakhand.
        the chasis no. isME121C[protected] and engine no is 21C1026493.When i went for 1st service of the bike then i only feel the worst service experince in my life. Iam riding yamaha since 1992, and this is my 4th yamaha bike till then.In 1st service the vanraj traders has neither changed the oil filter nor tightned nutbolts, they do not have the air pressure. they have not washed my bike with soap and polished, they did not lubricate the clutch, brakes and other points.their RPM meter is also broken down. and even worst they ahve charged Rs.70 for washing and lubricating the chain.
        I request you to make proper service arrangements for servicing the expensive bike like yamaha fz16 in your dealers workshop.this kind of experience make a bad image of yamaha bikes among their old customers.

        Yamaha - G5 (Libero) — Misappropriation of Collector

        I beg to inform you that I have purchased the two wheeler from Auto Champion, Howrah. on October 2007, finenced by GE money. for 2 years. 1st year-Rs.2388/- and 2nd year Rs. 1090/-, 1st year which is already fullfill simply by ecs of HDFC bank, 2nd for the change of my office salary account has been change to ICICI, Due to less my time I cant make the new ecs for, so, its about 6 month I paying the rest installment by yours representative or collector whithin the write time.
        The month of June Your collector simply forced me to pay the amount on 29th, June 2008, when ever I told that the amount I will pay with next month july on 05/07/2008 for the month ending.
        He repply me like a ediat/scoundral that (timely you are not paid the amount then why you have purchased the bike?),
        Who is the person talk to me like this?

        I want to seating for full and final sattlement with GE money,

        Your early action should be soliciated.

        yamaha-gladiator ss — very bad service

        i purchased yamaha gladiator from patny motors secundrabad last month, when i given my bike for the first servicing, they didn't reported my bike in good condition before it was. before giving to the service my bike is in very good condition except mileage i reported them regarding that thing only .I AM VERY MUCH DISAPPOINTED WITH THEIR SERVICING. I AM REQUESTING YAMAHA MOTORS TO TAKE ACTION ON PATNY MOTORS SECUNDRABAD, REGARDING BAD SERVICE.

        Dear Sir/Mam,

        To Whom soever is concern,

        This is the complaint regarding my bike(FZ 16) bought on 12-dec-2008 on the name of Gayatri Singh, from J.M Motors, sec-10 Noida(u.P).

        The problem which is occured is by the second day as i start up my bike, I found the bike is puntured, I found for punture guy that guy told me that it is not possible for him to resolve my problem because he is not having the equipment to make the punture, then i made a call to the concern person in J.M Motor, they return my bike as the punture get repair but the second day again also i have face the same problem there is no air in the tyre. i again speeak to the concern person in J.M Motor after checking the tyre they found a punture repair from inside the tyre. And now on 21/dec/2008 i receive the call from J.M Motor that they arrange the tyre from some where and i have to pay them Rs1471 against the tyre, Why should I go for this amount when the fault is from company side when they already aware of the fact about my situation and aware about my tyre . Please resolve my problem and make a kind attention to my problem. Waiting for a favourable reply.

        I bought Yamaha R15 from Pick Up yamaha dated 10 September 2008.
        i have been undergone three free services from them at their specfied showroom.
        they have no service standards the free services that they have provided its no use. they are just cleaning the bike and give it to the coustomer.
        they dont have any trained specialist of the product they have sold.
        please suggest me the ways so i can cope up with this.

        This is Mr.T.Radhakrishnan from karaikal, TamilNadu, India. I bought Yamaha Gladiator bike on 2nd June of 2008 from the dealer HARVEST GOLD in karaikal. I got a problem with the alloy wheel of my bike. It has got some bend in it. If i ask with my dealer to repair, their response is not so good. They refuse to replace the alloy wheel. But i've got warranty period for 6 more months for the alloy wheel. Also they are not good at service. I kindly request you to process my complaint soon. Thanks.

        i`m parminder n i`m from jammu. i drive yamaha`s R15.the bike is good but my experiences with your dealer here in my city are not really good.My bike`s light and horn is not working since three months back. And in these 3 months i`ve visited yamaha`s showroom for more then 40 days.         I have a yamaha Crux model bike, which i have purchased in year 2005., last month i have an accident in my bike, than i went to yamaha dealers workshop for purchasing some parts of my bike, but they told me that, yamaha dosen't make the all parts. I feel very bad that time and purchase all complete assembly.

        We all customer are requesting you to kindly make all spare parts of yamaha bike so that people will not face this type o[censored]navoidable circumstance, make proper service arrangements for spare parts of all model in your dealers workshop .this kind of experience make a bad image of yamaha bikes among their old as long as new customers.

        I have bought fz 16 on 20 feb.after one month i have given it for servicing in sri motors, one of yamaha service dealer in chennai.my bike was running very smoooth and there was no vib.this is my 1st yamaha bike, after service it got very noisy and a lot of vibration is there.I have bought this bike for his smooth riding but it is givinig me the worst filling of biking, what should i have to do now kindly advice me...

        Dear Sir /madam,

        I own yamaha Gladiator, 2006 june model.
        There is no problem with the bike except for that the silencer has rusted, the muffler is giving out sounds and today the last part of the silencer fell off from where it got rusted. All this despite of 6 teflon coatings in 3 years.

        I spoke to Venkatesha Yamaha in Hyderabad from where i got the bike. They say its a common complaint and nothing can be done except for replacing the silencer with a new one. But I dont see any other Gladiator's silencer with rust.
        Can it be replaced from company free of cost. Is there any recourse for me.?
        Kindly advise me.

        I have purchase one Yamaha bike Gladiator SS on 23/ 01/ 2009 from M/s Green Valley Motors Pvt. Ltd, Guwahati. My Bike details are Chassis No. - ME135B[protected], Engine no.- 35B1032168, Registration no. - AS01AJ1638.

        I had my second servicing on dated 29/04/2009. But sorry to say that the servicing was not proper. There was mud on the engine. When enquirer I was told that they did not have the person who washes the bike.

        I think that a multinational company like you should not have such improper services. I think I should get better service from your end.

        i bought yamaha fz26 in the month of february from austin distributor .kolkata. since then i have been facing problem with the starting problem.i cannot start my bike in the morning that is everyday and i have to roll in the gear than have to release the cluth with the accelarator.i m really not satisfied due to which i had lot of problem, i cannot even off the engine in the red light signal im scared, that it would not start again .
        i have been thorough to workshop but till now im not happy as well as not satisfied.i have adviced all my friends not to buy yamaha fz16 and will continue to do that.yamaha has already lost 5 clients from me and may be more in future.

        Whoever reads this should be ready to face the music from a hardcore yamaha fan. I represent all those yamaha rx/rd lovers who have bikes which are dying a slow and painful death due to the lack of spare parts even when these bikes were in production. Yamaha is one company in which we trusted sometime back but now it is as good as the bajaj`s and the hero hondas of the world. Yamaha is a name which used to be associated with performance motorcycling but now its all about fancy plastic bikes aka FZ16.
        I am ready to drag Yamaha to the court of law for the negligience on their part as they have not given enough service assistance. YAMAHA SUCKS...
        Yamaha has turned terribly worst towards customer complaints and after sales service.
        I have purchased Yamaha FZ-16 in the month of December 2008. Since then there has been noise in the engine. I personally visited the service station 5-6 times and the engineer first refused to accept the noise. But after I proved the complaint to be genuine he took my Bike to Greater Noida for 3 days . I trusted the company but after the engine being opened for 3 times and problem not being resolved I am quite unhappy and greatly dissappointed with the so called brand name of Yamaha.

        My hard earned money is in vain. Kindly resolve it on urgent basis or I will escalate it to higher authority.
        Anyone having a missing for yamaha gladiator SS while giving full accelerator or going above 70 KM/h ?
        i had bought a r15 a month before and the bike was given to me in very bad condition ...with lots of scratches in the tank and they assured to change the parts and i keep on calling them and asked them to change the parts but they didnt respond at all ... they keep on saying that the stock has not arrived ... i bought the bike from CAG coimbatore ... i wish the yamaha would something to change the parts ...my contact no was ph.[protected]
        yamaha is a great company with great products. but there are certain dealers who are just out to make a fast buck. and if yamaha india does not do something soon, all the goodwill generated over years starting from rx100, wil go down the drain.
        i bought an fz16 (KL 40B 7365) from SHINRAI YAMAHA, cochin. at the first 2 services, all they did was clean the air filter and change the oil. i thought maybe at the 3rd service they would do justice to the company checklist and my money. but the story is the same.
        i had a fall from the bike and the front end was really unstable. so i said, 'take your time, but fix the front perfectly.' i got a call saying the bike was ready that evening itself. i was surprised. on seeing the bike, i asked the service head to test ride. he asked the mechanic to ride.. the mech rides n gets back.. speaks to the service head.. and the next thing i see is the service head giving 2 big kicks to the front tyre! he then siad the bike is perfect. that's without bothering to ride, with 2 kicks!
        it was like he kicked me up my backside.
        while i love my bike, i seriously regret buying it from shinrai. my advice to all Kochi-ites; BUY THE FZ.. BUT NEVER FROM SHINRAI

        Recently I purchase Yamaha FZ16 (Dec-08) the bike is running perfectly but at the time of service I really demoralized when I see the Service engineer he is only cleaning the Air filter & changing the oil after that put some mobile in to the chain after that they give a bill of Rs.350/- But still I have to bear it after that I have some problem in my Clutch spring then I go to the service center they said that they have not in stock of that material's then by default I break my foot rest & they make the bill & include the money of foot rest in my service bill. with regular communicatin with them they said after two month's that the material's are not provided by Yamaha motor’s, so they are helpless.

        But I already paid the money which I still not received the part's.

        I really cried internally by my Heart & said myself that I am really fooool & suggest other's that never purchase Yamaha bikes.

        My name is Carthik, i Purchased a Yamaha Fz16 From Orion Motors Bangalore, The After Sales Service of the bike just SUCKS! They just wash your bike, I don't know whether they change the engine oil? But they charge you Rs 400 For Free Service! What the Hell?

        Recently I met with a bike accident, and it was not my fault. They made me Run behind the cops to get an F.I.R. Acutually an FIR was not required in this Case. The Cops too Rs 700 From Me for the FIR and Orion Motors Take Rs 250 to submit your claim form! Its Ridiculous! Yamaha's Bikes are good No doubt. But its just Plastic parts! nothing more and 75, 000 For a Bike Like Fz16 is too much!

        I agree with Sushant, Never Buy Yamaha Products! They just suck and they extract money from you! Even i felt like crying when i was made to run for the insurance. And People talk so rudely to you!

        Hi i am Francis from Goa. I am a die hard lover of Yamaha Bikes. I already have a yamaha r150 which is quite an old but best bike. Now i thought of buying a yamaha Fz 16 i visited the showroom KARPE YAMAHA and found that there is only 1 Fz 16 in black colour which i was looking for so i hurried up found the price of the bike and issued a D.D of the total amount to the showroom owner in the name of KARPE YAMAHA and he promised to deliver the bike the next day after realization of the D.D. when i went the next day i found that the bike was already sold to some other customer and the owner gave exuses saying the bike had scratches which was a lie and promised that the bike would be delivered within 2 days.
        I HAD ISSUED THE D.D TO KARPE YAMAHA ON THE 20th JULY 2009 AND TILL DATE ie 5th AUGUST 2009 I HAVE NOT GOT THE DELIVERY OF THE BIKE YET

        KINDLY TAKE SOME ACTION AGAINST THE DEALER KARPE YAMAHA MARGAO GOA OR ELSE RETURN MY HARD EARNED MONEY BACK PLEASE DO THE NEEDFULL AS SOON AS POSSIBLE OR BE PREPARED TO FACE THE COURT.

        i owned fz-16 4 months ago, and i think yamaha moters sold me a rejected bike (faulty bike)

        i am facing this problem and company is doing nothing for me, my bike still in warrenty period.
        and also i had problem with rear tyre, but thanks to MRF company, i got changed that tyre from MRF.

        This Is sunil i have booked a bike of Fazer last 23rd of Aug but till the date i have no proper reply from dealer its too bad.

        From the day of delivery of my bike i am facing a problem. My bike stops while down shifting the gears.
        Sometime it shows some missing as if the fuel is getting blocked.. Sometimes it makes a bursting sound from exhaust and cutoff the engine, even i ride my bike at 40/50/60 KMS or above when ever downing the gear it gives a missing problem or sometime cutts off the engine..
        I went to service more than three times & what they told me was FZ normally has that problem..
        Now after the 3rd service its even Worse..
        Really i am not happy with the service guys of Shinrai... What they do is simply wash & Oil change & give it back ... No Carbuerator Cleaning Electrical checking Nothing...
        I would suggest Every Kochites not to service ur yamaha bikes At Shinrai...
        Now i am Roaming with this Bike as A Dog Got Full Big Size COCONUT... What to do ? What to do?

        i have a yamaha fz16 and r15 as well.the eem pee motors in chandigarh are the dealers of yamaha.this is a true occuring with me when i went to the yamaha showroom..the staff was drinking liquor with the owner or the manager of the showroom.moreover when i enquired about the yamaha rider jacket, the manager was not only rude but started with a statement'its for 7200 Rs, as i asked him of xl size, he sd before he can get it for me he would like to see 7200 as advance, to my surprise.disgusting attitude and manners.he sd no one buys jacket in chandigarh cos people here dont have balls to pay 7200 rs for a jacket.i was shocked to the core.i had never met someone in my entire life such as the manager of the eem pee motors.before i went out i told him politely showing him 3 c/c cards including american express, 10, 000 cash and also told him what positin im working on.before leaving i also told him, people like u stand outside my house..if that was no yamaha showroom i would have shown him what happens when u dis respect someones integrity..i have filed a complaint in yamaha n im sure they will take some action on him for sure..also the service of eem pee motors is very bad...dont go there cos they change things to worst so that u keep comming back.even if the part is ok they would make u sweat..biggest chor in chandigarh are eem pee yamaha motors.

        Yamaha Motors India Limited — Damaged spare parts

        Brought R-15 mirrors on 3/10/2009 from Muthoot Yamaha and found one of them to be broken. They are refusing replacement even after reporting back in 10 mins. It was about 5:30 PM on Saturday and they closed shop by 6 PM and it was holiday on Monday. When called on Monday they are totally avoiding me. Contacted the customer care and no response from them too.

        I Have Just completed my 6 service on 27 Nov @ Mahakali Caves rd in Mumbai, My vehicle# MH-02-BK-8001 Model is FZ16 ( Jan 09 ), the front fork is leaking with oil, I think the oil seal of the front fork is broken or some mess happen with it, will that be done within the warranty or I have to pay for it.

        I have purchased a yamaha FZ16 from M/s George maijo Motors inc.Kollam dist Kerala state.They provide the worst service you ca nimagine. The bike after service is worser than before. not sincerity in the part of serviced section.Recently i Got with one acdcident claim and had a small work. only small body parts needed to change and dnt have even a crack in other important parts or engine.They took about more than a week to get it ready after my continous call from the tech staff to the management top. We expect the yamaha standard from the dealer.but its unfortunate to says the worst is what i got. Please do something to help the customers.and give some check on you servicequality.

        i purchased yamaha limited edition fazer on 28/10/09 from venkatesha motors hyderabad. & chasis number is me145s[protected] & engine number 45s3002211.when i gave it for 1st service on 26/11/09 in vijayawada, i complained about the fork screw & and they said there is a manufacture defect and said that they had placed an order for the spare to replace it...and it will be replaced with in 15 days.recently i went there to enquire about the spare the said that they did not place any order till now and it will take another one month to change the part.i was feeling shoulder pain & back pain due this problem and not able to use my bike..this service centre is under good will agencies vijayawada...so please take action so that i can get my problem to be solved...thank you for this ...awaiting ur reply...

        starting problem but they never addressed my problem.on 6 dec.2009 i've done my last service again i complained for starting problem, they said after service it wiil be okay but the problem is lying till now.
        on 31 dec.2009 they told me that your battery is weak so change your battery.they 've given me the address of AMCO the battery mfg.co.now the AMCO is saying that your battery is manufactured
        in 2007 so we can not give you warranty you ask warranty from yamaha and the shiva motors because
        they've given you old battery.shiva motors is not co oprating so kindly guide me how can i sort out my problem.

        Yamaha- Gladiotor — Yamaha- insurance claim and service

        Me and my bike Yamaha Gladiator met with an accident in march 09. I left my bike with Trichy dealer SS agencies for repairs. I got my bike back in may 09 serviced and fully paid by me. They obtained my signatures in the claim forms of insurer- IFFCO TOKYO and assured me that the claim would be forwarded and I would receive the same in two months. I've been calling them reg the claim and they repeatedly lied that the claim would come thro'. Finally I decided to check with IFFCO and I was shocked to find that the claim was no submitted at all. Further, on riding the bike after service I noticed that the brake disc was damaged. when I enquired with the mechanic at SS Agencies I was told that he had replaced my original disc with a with a damaged one as per the instructions of his floor supervisor Mr.Karthik. When I checked with Mr.Karthik I he informed me that this was possible and he would pay me for the disc since I had replaced the disc thro another Dealer of Yamaha. What do I do. The response from the owners of SS agencies is extremely irresponsible.

        Yamaha Services Center — Damage done by Yamaha Service Center

        HI this is nadeem here , i have taken Yamaha FZ 16 in the month of July 09 from Paras Yamaha Vasai. Engine No 55216 & Chassis No ME121C[protected].LAst Service i given in the month of December 09 were they have damage my Right side Panel of Fuel Tank (Remove Paint ).They have committed me that they will change my bike fuel Tank in the month of dec but till now they are just giving me false committment that it will be done by next week but till now nothing happen. Whenever i called them they only say PARTS HAS NOT YET, IT WILL COME NEXT WEEK.I have in written for the same. Please reply me for the same.

        Also i have lost my services book and till now i have done only 3 free services and 3 are balance. I have given Written application for the same in december but till now no reply for the services book. I have taken concern person No. from Yamaha (MR Sameer) and he has Guarantted me to give the book in 10 to 15 working days after getting the written application but from yamaha (Mr Hussain) he has not submitted the letter yet to Mr Sameer ,Even in submitting the letter they are delaying.

        I purchased yamaha Fazer on 12th of jan 2010 from Shiva yamaha Warangal Andhra Pradesh
        the chasis no. My T/R No is SY0444 .When i went for 1st service of the bike then i only feel the worst service experince in my life. Iam riding yamaha since 1992, and this is my 4th yamaha bike till then.In 1st service the Shiva yamaha has neither changed the oil filter nor tightned nutbolts, they do not have the air pressure. they have not washed my bike with soap and polished, they did not lubricate the clutch, brakes and other points.their RPM meter is also broken down. and even worst they ahve charged Rs.70 for washing and lubricating the chain.
        I request you to make proper service arrangements for servicing the expensive bike like yamaha fazer in your dealers workshop.this kind of experience make a bad image of yamaha bikes among their old customers

        I purchased fz-16 on Aug 4 2009 from perfect rider Bangalore, from last 2 months I facing problem with bike rear tyre and rear break.         Dear sir,

        I want to inform you that my YAMAHA FAZER customer ID NO [protected]J14 was purchased from dealer LAXMI TRADING COMPANY JAGDALPUR CHHATTISGARH. On 14-10-09 my vehicle reg no is CG15 CD 4509. 1st n 2nd free service was performed by above mentioned dealer.my bike was having problm regarding self start. , it is being informed to company also. The problm is not solved.due to un availablity of spare part that time.

        Now I am transferred to Ambikapur chhattisgarh. My dealer told me to get replased part at CHANDRA ENTERPRISES AMBIKAPUR. Today (24/04/10) when I took my bike for servising , the manager at service centre CHANDRA ENTERPRISES told me it will be replaced , the part is very cheap. I told him it is under varrenty. He was arruging me it will be changed if paid. And the service man told me that this vehicle will be servised 4th but u have to pay for it as the vehicle is purchased from other place n not from us. Then I called my Jagdalpur Dealer n made him to talk to Ambikapur service manager. When the dealer shouted at him, he agreed n took my vehicle for servising.

        The excuse was that your dealer has not entered customer id in service book. and we have no time to search customer id.

        Finally my vehicle got serviced without washing. As the service centre is not having washing facility. When I forced manager for washing he agreed to get washed from outside on Sunday ie 25/04/10.

        Finally I had to pay total charges of Rs 515 for servicing

        I am very much un satisfied with the service provided by Dealer of Ambikapur Ms Chandra Enterprises .

        If this condition is followed here there is no use of getting vehicled serviced.

        I want to ask from the company whether the customer has to send notise from consumer court to get proper services. If I take my vehicle to next convinient service station bilaspur which is 250 kms from Ambikapur. Who will bear the financial as well as personnal losses?????

        YAMAHA ( FZS) — COLOUR CHANGES ON THE BIKE

        I had purchased yamaha FZS from on 11.02.2010 from Ideal Motors located at kandivli west mumbai 400067. The delivered vehicle is Red Silver in colour but the Colour Mentioned on the Registered smart card is Yellow & also the vehicle is registered as FZ inspite of FZS . While confirmed with Yamaha it is registered as yellow .
        please help me in the above case. Who cheated with me The Company as Yamaha the Dealer ( Paras Yamaha ) or Sub Dealer ( Ideal Motors ).

        My name is Joel from Bangalore. i am posting my worst experience with Panache Bangalore. i am using Yamaha Enticer, i had some problem with corberator. first i gave service to Marathahalli branch, there they took 3 days and told me that they can't fix the issue and charged me 1600 and told me to check with CMH Branch. my bike got more worst than before giving for service. i can't even ride my bike, so i gave my bike to CMH (Binnamangala) Branch. They told that they can fix the issue, they kept my bike more than 11 days and gave it back said they fixed it and charged me 7500 Rupees but while coming to my home itself i felt the issue is still not fixed. i called them and said the complaint is still remain same, they coolly said come for service again we'll fix it.

        The main problem here is similar that they did a operation on stomach for the patient came for headache. No experienced mechanics in panache both the branches. they do only water service and keep on swapping parts among vehicles. so nobody know what got changed while free service i myself saw that while they do service for my bike. The real problem is with the corberrator but these stupids worked on Engine and belted me with unnecessary bills.

        Please dont go to panache ever in your life. no matter free service or paid service. they are the biggest looters in bangalore.

        I hav yamaha FZ16 model sep 2008 my front disc break was not working i have complaint about this to my yamaha dealer in faridabad haryana but its not available. After one week i again get back to them he said the same reason that it was not available from yamaha from the factory itself.
        I wander why this [censored]g small consumable is not available in yamaha as they call them selves a racing giant, in my opinionyamaha is nothing in front of a handful electric scooter maker in india even they also aware of customer service.
        I advice to not to yamaha global but yamaha india that please provide consumable items to dealers otherwise they are dissappear in the indian market, learn customer satisfaction with your competitote i.e HONDA

        I have purchased a motorcycle Yamaha Fazer (Red) Chassis no.ME145S01X92013962 from M/s. INDIA YAMAHA MOTOR PVT.LTD.GF 01-04, MGF MALL SAKET.NEW DELHI -17 on 15th October 2009.Vide Inv No. IYM/SK/09/000160.
        I regularly carried out services of the vehicle as per guidelines as recommended through Ahthd service center.
        I started getting lots of problems in this bike as

        1. Battery acid leakage problem occurred within 01 week caused body damage.

        2. Pick up problem & white smoke from engine with in 6 months & replaced the rings piston.
        3. Oil leak from head 3 time same problem with in 1 month its white smoke from engine after overhauling I sent my bike at ADARSH YAMAHA authrized service center for repair on 10/01/2011, but according to the manager no parts were available.
        4. On 10/02/11 it was re sent to workshop till date I have not recd back after repair & even the bill of repair has been paid on 16.0.11 but vehicle is not delivered because they have lost my key which was having a remote of centre lock also.
        5. Now I am not in any status & without vehicle.
        6. With all above I am forced to approach Consumer forum for my harassments & compensations.

        RAI Motors — Replace new parts with old one

        I have a Daewoo car. The company is closed and it is tough to get parts.
        Got my car serviced in Hyderabad and spent close to 15000 changing bearings, drive shaft etc. It was new one and could feel the smoothness. I drove to Bangalore and had a bumper dent because a motorbike hit.
        I too to RAI motors and wanted to get this dent removed. They did it and cleaned my car too. They took 2 days. I took the car back after paying 8000 and a little later started feeling gripping sound when the wheel rotates. Was worried but continues driving. Sometime later, car's alternator developed problems. I too the car to another known mechanic and he inspected and said that alternator needs re-winding. Bearings are gone and drive shaft in front needs replacement. i was shocked.
        Their modus operandi is to loot cars with newly changed good parts for spoilt one for two advantages . . . one they could replace other vehicle's parts with this and bill them. The car which is looted would return to them to rectify the same.
        I contacted another person who also owned a Daewoo and met him there when he came for servicing . . . He too felt the same and it was his second time he had come there. He vowed not to even go close to RAI motors near Hebbal for the fear of loosing his hard earned money. If you value your money and car, please avoid RAI motors . . this is my personal experience and suggestion.

Road showroom)..on 14th i hd given all the money company require from me for registration..they told me (sales manager Gautam roy and sales executive Krishnendu Ghosh) my car will be ready within 4 days... but it has been two wks after that dey didnt even borther to cl me once..i caldd them repitedty,,, both this two person is compleatety avoiding me n ignoreing me,,,last wednesday on 3rd od this month they said ur car in ready u can take it.. i went to showroom on friday 3rd june,,,n seen they hv given me temporary registraion.. i refused to take delivery at that time.. but again they told me to tk the car and ur registration vl b available on monday plz bear with them...bt it hs been again one week they hvnt contact me yet... i cl dem on tuesday bt again they r not reciveing my cls ...... i am totally fade up wid tata motors....

        After sells service

        Speedometer changed 3 times in 1and half year (first replacement was only in 7 days from the date i purchased )

        Bothe tires (rear changed at 18000)

        tires are not easily available - you need to puchase them in black (with extra cost)

        kamal motors could not fix up new tire to rear wheel which they bought it on their own)

        they again changed the tire and sent me another one and for all this fix up i had to pay for transport charges even though they made the mistake of bringing different size tire.

        Battery was gone in 7 months
        (but got the new one from them in one month till i was starting by bike by rolling it and leaving the clutch )

        now my chain kit need to replace.

        tale often goes off, head lamp flasher is not working

        Often liners gets jammed

        color is not shining now (just two and half years)

        Anyway -

        i am ready to pay for the maintenance of the bike, i can spend lot on my bike to keep it in best condition but this bike just drags me down whenever i am planning to go out with it and the dealer is just too good not to help you.

        This is sharath from Bangalore, and I’ am sharing my bad experience with Yamaha Service, Orion Motors Bangalore.
        I bought FZ-S from Orion Motors Bangalore – (Opp to Forum mall). And I gave my bike for first service and I got it back on the same evening after I pay 720 (Oil + polishing). But I didn’t noticed during the delivery that the head light frame (one with the glass finish) was got cracked, and due to rain the moisture formed Inside the headlight. The very next day I visited the showroom to report about the damage but they simply said ‘we are not responsible for that and we don’t know how it has happened!!!’. They were very rude and irresponsible. I suspect that the damage happened due to the laziness of the technician or improper way of handling the bike, as the headlight frame is of plastic it could break in one single mistake during service. And I trust Yamaha quality that it shouldn’t break so soon without any external load. Still they were not ready accepting their fault, but the supervisor gave me a bull- solution that ‘we will replace the damaged part by another bike wait for 10 more day’. Is this the kind Service doing in Yamaha? Or it’s just a fate for all Yamaha buyers?

          My Yamaha FZ fell down on 24th December 2008 and some parts like Handle bar, headlamp reflector, Tank cover on one side needs replacement. I took the bike to Yamaha dealers in Coimbatore(ORPI and CAG) the very next day, but both didnot have these parts and will come only come after January 10 2009. I waited for that date, but till now the parts haven't been arrived. When asked yesterday, they say it will take another 1 week. I'm very frustrated with this.

          Hi i got my new Fz16 bike which meet with a serious accident, i need both front and back wheels and some parts of front portion.
          I contacted my nearest show room in Vizag they says that they dont have any spares of it and they needs us to wait till next two months or to visit Delhi.
          I'm working as Tech.Asstt. in BHARAT ELECTRONICS ltd.(a defence ministry enterprises). I purchased a fz16 engine no.[protected] chasis no. me121co11a2086816 from arsh enterprises 43 gandhi road dehradun dated on 16.3.10 on cash payment.
          point 1-) At the time of selling the dealer told me that the power of engine is 160cc. but when i came to home with bike i saw in the manual the actual power of bike is 153 cc.
          2-)The dealer was fail to provide me all the documents (rc, sell letter, insurance etc.) till date 03.4.2010
          3-) Due to the unavailabilty of documents i had to pay Rs200 bribe to policeman at the way of cervice center.
          4-) At the cervice center (arsh enterprises) my job card no. was 45.they serviced two bikes who had came later from me.
          5-) washing of my bike was not done good, no cleaning reagent or liquid was used to clean the bike..
          6-) when i asked them for feedback/complaint form they behave rudely and refused to give form.
          7-) they charged me Rs.45 for cleaning the chain and Rs15 service tax on Rs 45. is cleaning the chain seprately chargable from the customer?
          the behave of service center and the dealer was very bad...
          how can I suggest other to go for yamaha product in my circle?

          bike is very good in porformence but the Service of our Show room is very bad.... I have finished my 4 free Services... one month back my bike got accident... even now also iam not changed Side tank cover and silencer cover...... am really husted from this.

            We had bought a Yamaha FZ 16 in October. But the bike was defective.
            1. Both alloys are bend.
            2. The quality of alloy is very poor. It’s colour has started fading now.
            3. Rarer tyre gets flattened after every 3-4 days.
            4. Due to the flattening of tyre the silencer got scratches.
            5. Handel gets loosen every month. We have to get it tightened.
            We have complained to your distributer ‘Gupta Motors’ in Jalandhar (Punjab).But no one is taking action. The defects are there from the 1st day of purchase. Further we pleased to take the necessary action as early as possible. Hoping for your positive answer.

            i bought yamaha Fz last sept. but im not satisfy with the performs of the bike.

            1.dealer told me the price of the bike 67, 500. but on the net it is shown 65, 000 only. and i paid him 67, 500.

            2. dealer pay me customer referral benefit amount when i complaint head office for that.

            3. bike pick up is going day by day very low. and the dealer has no solution for this.

            4. its mileage is 28-30 ltr /km. to improve the mileage dealer installed new spark plug for the Rs.120. but it make no difference.

            5 . bike chain is non lubricant.and the dealer is still using used engine oil instead of some other recommendation. plz solve it

              HI, my self sudhakar singh, working in Hotel Country Inn & Suites as a house keeping executive in Goa. I gave my Yamaha RX-100 for Servicing( Full Painting, ) in Mapsa Yamaha WorkShop on 14/10/08 in Goa. 1st thing they took 3Month time for servicing, 2nd thing They are keep saying that we will call you when it's done But they did't call me, 3rd thing is After 3Month When I said that i thing i did a mistake to give my bike Servicing in Yamaha Workshop then they are saiying that we are waiting For a Parts, 4th thing is when i came to took my bike that time they said that in your bike No Battery, 5th thing is they Broken my Bike Seat from In side and saying that is like that, After servicing Light are not working, Bike Hore are not working, Oil are Leaking and so many thing Which is not acceptable . Next Day i took my bike and went to local machanic and get it done all small thing which is Yamaha Workshop not able to do.                 I have already purchased Yamaha libero from M/s Gotadki motors Belgaum. Thou I have not faced many problems with bike i am not happy with the service provided by the dealer.Since there is no correct and quick response from the dealer which led me to service by bike with local mechanic.Many of my freinds and others are willing to by Yamaha bike but are going ahead with other companies because of dealer service.Dealer has lack of man powder, good customer relationship neither zeal to sale bikes.

                Would you help on this matter since I am a big fan of Yamaha bike and also planning to buy new Yamaha FZ.

                Should let You know that I have Purchased a FZ16 from Gotadki Motors and was thrilled at getting such wonderful service.First of all there was a waiting period of 15 days and when I mentioned that I would like to have the bike in 3 days as it was a special ocassion in the family, they took a lot of trouble and arranged for it to be delivered on the desired day which me and my family will never forget in our life. I also saw that the showroom owner was personally interacting with customers there which I have not seen in other companies earlier like Honda.
                Unfortunately, the very third day after I bought the bike there was a problem with the speedometer and went there. They got it checked and replaced immediately and I was out of there in 15mins flat! Moreover
                I was not even carrying my Owner's Manual which is so much essential in other places.I shudder to think of my past experinces in other companies for such matter and have decided to go to Gotadki Motors in future for all my dealings.

                  i m Gaurav Choudhari from Amravati, Maharashtra. I purchased Yamaha FZ16 on dated 24/10/2008 From Tajshri Motors Nandwan, Nagpur. But the day i drove it to my home its front disk is making some kind of noise. And 2-3 days after 1st servicing which only include washing and Engine oil change i found that the black color of front alloy wheel is removed at the corners of wheel and also handle bar color is vanishing. now the alloy is looking like, it is painted from some local painter.and when i complaint this issue to the service provider they say me that " Ab yeh To gaddi hain, 2-4 mahine main toh color niklega hi. isme main kuch nahi kar sakta. " Means its a vehicle there is no guarantee of color.i cant do any thing in this matter. and also there is leakage of oil from Engine. But the shop owner says u must applied some chemical to it or some sort of acid. they are not interested in solving my problem rather they are telling me that its ur mistake. I m Engineer by profession n i know that what care should be taken while maintaining the Bike.Now can anybudy help me out of this matter ?? what should i do??

                    Myself, Bhavin Shah, working as Assistant Professor at L.J. Institutes of Computer Applications, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

                    I had purchased Yamaha G5 Motorcycle (With Alloy wheel & Self Start) on 17/10/2008, from M/S. Citywide 2 Wheelers, Sarvoday Society-1, Opp. Agrawal Tower, Bhuyangdev Cross Road, Sola Road, Ahmedabad, Gujarat(Phone Number :[protected],[protected], Fax Number :[protected]. I had paid Rs. 45, 100/- to M/S. Citywide 2 Wheelers for the same. Following is the details of payment maid by me .

                    Bill numbers (of Citywide 2 Wheelers) : 5831, 5833, 5939.
                    Billing Name : Bhavinbhai Manharbhai Shah
                    On Road Price (dealing was done with Mr.. Ashishbhai) : Rs. 45, 100/- .
                    Chassis number : 5TSC002208.
                    Motorcycle Description : Yamaha G5 with Alloy Wheel, Auto Start, Black Color.

                    Till date, documents issued to me is only the warranty card of battery. More than 10 times, I had requested personally to the following persons, to issue RC Book, Service Book, Warranty Card/ Guaranty Card, User Manual, Insurance policy and any other documents. Kindly note that even after 50 days of purchasing the bike, no document (as mention above) is still issued to me.

                    List of the persons to whom I had requested to provide documents:
                    1) Mr. Chandreshbhai Tiwari(Owner of M/S. Citywide 2 Wheelers, Ahmedabad )
                    2) Mr. Ashish Tiwari (Manager, Bhuyangdev branch, Citywide 2 Wheelers, Ahmedabad)
                    3) Mr. Shani (working at Bhuyangdev branch, Citywide 2 Wheelers, Ahmedabad)

                    Following is my complains:
                    1) No support for the first service even after 1383 KM : As on today, my Yamaha G5 motorcycle’s meter reading is 1383 Kilometer. I already know that, during 500- 700 K.M, or within one month of purchase, I must give my bike for the first service. If I am not able to do so, no warranty / guaranty claim can be possible. Even the performance of the bike can be decrease due to no service.

                    When meter reading was near to 300 KM (05/11/2008), I had requested them to issue at least service book, so that I can give my bike for the first free service. Mr. Chandreshbahi replied that I should not worry about the warranty / guaranty or even first service. According to him, I can go for the first service even after 1000 KM, or even after completion of one month of purchase, and it will not affect warranty / guaranty. He will manage that. I also know that he is totally wrong. Today, mileage of my bike is near to 46 KM. per liter.


                    Even after that day, I had requested him number of times to issue the service book or make it convenient for me to give my bike for the first service. Each time he replied me for waiting for more two to three days, and that days never came. So, today, after 1383 KM, first free service of my bike is not complete, which should be completed between 500- 700 KM, or within one month of purchase. I think, I am near to the second service.

                    2) RTO Passing is still not done: After 55 days of purchasing the bike, they have not send any document or done any process for RTO passing. Till date, I do not have any RTO number on number plate. Normally, in my city, dealers are sending the bike for RTO passing, within maximum 3-4days.

                    In my case, even after asking him to do so, I don’t get what is their interest behind not sending it for RTO Passing?

                    3) Fraud in the product : Till date, as they have not provided any legal documents(RC Book, Service Book, Warranty Card/ Guaranty Card, User Manual, Insurance policy) for my bike, there must be some legal issues for not providing it. I think they might have given damaged piece/ old piece or some spare parts may be changed or there can be any other reason for it. It was informed by them that they had taken insurance policy, but still, they had not given any document of the same to me.

                    4) “Not to user bike up to 05/12/2008 ???” Ten days before of 5/12/2008, number of the times, I had personally visited the citywide 2 wheelers office and requested them to issue at least the service book. Each time they replied that, tomorrow they will issue it. But that tomorrow never came. On 25th November, 2008, as my bike meter reading was near to 1100 KM, which is too much serious for me, so again I had personally requested to Mr. Shani to issue the service book or take some immediate action for providing the first free service. He replied that, as the owner of the citywide (Mr. Chandreshbhai) & Mr. Ashishbhai is out of station, and they will back on 5/12/2008, I have to wait up to 5/12/2008. Also, he replied me not to use the bike up to 5/12/2008 or till the date when any one from Chandreshbhai or Ashishbhai come and take some decision. I had stopped to use the bike during that days. But even today, I did not receive any official documents from him.

                    As I had recently change my job, and my work place is so far away, I had specially purchased this bike for the same. Even I highly required the bike, and also after having a brand new bike which is fully paid by me, I am not able to use it. I have to travel near 40 KM per day by auto or bus.

                    5) Misbehaving & Misguiding : After giving the delivery of the bike, they are misbehaving with me and not listing any thing. I feel that, purchasing the bike from this people is my major mistake. They had misguided me number of times regarding service & warranty. But Mr. Murtuza, manger, Yamaha authorized service station naranapura, had helped me. (Mr. Murtuza is not concern with citywide 2 wheeler).

                    6) No Maintenance support provided : On the second day after purchasing the bike, i.e. 18/10/2008, chain of my bike was not functioning properly. It was sounding. I was not able to drive it even at very slow speed. I asked the citywide to support me. But they said that I have to go the local mechanic to repair it. I asked him to provide the list of Yamaha’s authorized service station . They were not ready to give me the list of the service station. I was too much confused at that time. I had called my local mechanic for repairing it, who charged Rs. 50/- .

                    If immediately after purchasing the bike, if customer get this kind of problem and they are not supporting him, then there is the question of the honesty of the both the company ? Yamaha India should also take care regarding this matter.

                    7) Battery was not working at the time of delivery of motorcycle. Even after informing Mr. Ashishbhai & Mr. Chandreshbhai well in advance for the delivery date & time of the bike, at the time of delivery, battery was not working properly. So, they had send that battery to the service station.

                    As even after 35 days of delivering the bike, and after so much request, they had not supported for even the first service, now I am in such a position that, the performance of the bike is not good (mileage 48 KM). So I want Rs. 45, 100/- back as early as possible.

                    Kindly, look in to the matter and take necessary action against this kind of the cheating, fraud & misguiding. I am ready to support for any legal action against this. I will also request you to take such an action so that, i should get my money back, and people faulty in this case should learn the lesson, so that in future they will not harass the other customer like this.

                      I must first congratulate the Yamaha team for introducing such wonderful
                      bikes in India after a long gap. The Yamaha website is very good and
                      extremely informative to all biking enthusiasts. However an easily visible
                      feedback/contact us option needs to be maintained.
                      I would like to formally complain against Jain Motors who are the Yamaha
                      dealers at Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh. I had given my motorcycle RX135 for
                      servicing to them on 29.11.2008. The well equipped service centre has a
                      novice mechanic and the overall management is poor. My complaints are:

                      1. My motorcylce RX135 was topped up with the four-stroke engine oil.
                      On complaining, no redressal was made by the service center manager.
                      2. Duplicate break shoes were put into my motorcycle's rear wheel.
                      3. There were not enough spare parts.
                      4. The sole mechanic was a boy, perhaps not even an adult, who very
                      shabbily managed the servicing.

                      I hope that you can take stern action against such unprofessionalism so
                      that other Yamaha enthusiasts are not troubled here.

                        This is to inform you about the problems that I am encountering after purchasing your company product. I brought Yamaha R15 [engine number - 20PI004052] four months ago on July 28, 2008 and I am completely dissatisfied with its services. Initially, the bike's radiator started leaking just within a week of its purchase. And in these four months I have visited the showroom more than 20 times as the bike comes up with a new problem every now and then. Also, its windshield has become loose and vibrates alarmingly while driving.
                        The salesperson and the showroom manager have not attended to my complaints. The engineer always backs off by saying that he has sent an e-mail to the company and will receive a response in a day or two. And now its almost a month since I have been waiting for a response. On top of it, he has now stopped receiving my phone calls, which is really irritating. The showrooms back here in Agra simply sell the products and provide a pathetic after-sales service. I am truly disappointed with the services and also they are not what I expected from a renowned company like Yamaha.
                        Now its been a month since they are testing my patience and its finally high-time that my complaints are attended to by the company itself, least you want me to take a legal action against the situation.
                        I hope you understand the gravity of the situation and take an appropriate action immediately.

                        Hi,

                        I purchased Yahama bike before 18 months. I had given all the services to YMIS. In past these 18 month 2 times battery will replaced and now they saying about chain sprakit set only yamaha graldiator chain sparkit is capable for only 18000 km. So they want to replace the sprakit with charges . I need the clarification about this. As per you manual book not mentioned about chain sprakit like spark pluk for every 10000 km.

                        I have a yamaha R 15, this is my third yamaha motorcycle. As this bike is more tech advanced than my previous Rx 100s it requires more care and a good after sales service which the dealers somehow fail to provide in the case of this particular bike. First i ordered a few accessories and the dealers said it would take about a week for those to be delivered but these took a month to reach me. The radiator of the bike has developed a leakage on its own, if i order a new one it will cost me 12, 000 rupees and would most probably take a month to reach me.Which means that the bike will not be in use for a month, secondly as the bike is still under guarantee/warranty the company should change it free of cost but that would probably take an year and a lot of bickering. If someone from yamaha reads this forum would u please start taking more notice of the customers rather than pampering or sucking up to your dealers.Legal action would be my next step.
                        I bought my R15 on June 29th 08'. And I feel Yamaha has given us a great bike but the service center guys are doing a pathetic job. I really hope Yamaha conducts a small workshop and teach the owners about basic servicing as I am seriously pissed off with the SS guys. My bike vibrates a lot and am hearing tappet noise for the past 6000 kms and no service center in Hyderabad has been able to fix it. I guess for them the servicing means just changing the oil and cleaning the bike. I also hope Yamaha opens some company owned Workshops around the city with some good mechanics. I am really not satisfied with the current Yamaha Service Centers in Hyderabad.

                        hey my friend too faced a same problem. the red button on ur right handle bar. switch off & on again nd again and thn the bike starts. nd once the bike starts i suggest dont touch the red button. switch off the engine wit the key. cas i gets vry dissapointing whn the bike doesnt start in hurry.

                        i recently buy a yamaha r15 (black).after 1 month i saw a strange problm in my bike....my r15 bike's handle doesn't match with my r15 bike's visar....i m very much upset....

                        This is a complaint against "Yamaha YZF-R15 bike Rear Tyre issues"
                        The purchase date of my Bike "Yamaha YZF-R15" was 06/02/2011.
                        My complaint is that, According to company structure my bike having Tubeless tyres, but within 20days, i was found bubling in rear tyre in just 5th days, but now i found 1inch screw in Rear Tyre in 980 kms run & gave the bike to the service center for 1st servicing on 20/2/2011.

                        According to Service executive, its Yamaha company manufacture fault in tyres, so i unable to help you for the same. IN customer point of view, i don't know how can i facing this issue, my bike is not useful for me in this conditions.


                        That was my first experience with "Yamaha" family. as a proof i got evidences on undone work written back side by the service people with signature and date. I need a strong answer from the "Yamaha India" company for that unsatisfactory work and I demand compensation for wasting my precious time & money. I need one new tyres for my bikes as well as an positive answer.
                        If i do not get proper response from the concern, I will be bound to knock The respectable Indian Constitution. The brief details of my bike & service issues are given below.

                        Yamaha R15 — starter relay assy

                        i bought anew registered r15 within three days i have to face a serious situation the stater relay assy including the whole electrical circuts has damaged burst out and now when the ignition is on the bike is totaly dead i trusted on yamaha services ,but now i fell shame on yamaha (international company)
                        Have u driven ur bike without the battery? Or was it low on charge?
                        Yamaha India should have their own trained mechanic in the Yamaha authorised show room. Most of the mechanic in the Yamaha showroom are not properly trained or they end up screwing the bike and this is not good for Yamaha as well as for the owner who trust this Yamaha show room and hand in their bikes. Please YAMAHA, have a trained mechanic in your authorised show rooms who have to wear YAMAHA authorised Badge to do a service of the bike...how can we trust this SS???????????? do YAMAHA wants one time customer????? Do the showroom really care for selling Yamaha???? Yamaha have given a good bike...but what about good service...hope Yamaha India do justice to all the R15 bikers who trust and give their bikes for services under the warranty period...

                        the service of yamaha sucs. i'v gave my yamaha r15 to the service centre 10days before for repalcing some parts and they said i'll get the bike done after 2 days but till now m not getting the positive responce from service centre (malad). m really disappoint with their behaviour n i'v didn't expected this kind of behaviour with this type of international brand n world's leading bike company.

But I am very unsatisfied with the performance of the Bike in terms of frequent failure and maintenance costing within very short time period from the date of purchase. I have already invested huge amount in the name of repairing of engine block, block piston, crank shaft, sockabsorber and various engine accessories. Now I have become fed with dealers in Tinsukia and Dibrugarh for not attending my complaint for the Bike. The Bike is lying in aforesaid dealers for long time. It is very regretted to say that I am completely dis-satisfied with performance of the Bike from the date of purchase of the same and I have not found any comfort for purchasing of Yamaha Bike except wasting of money in the of repairing of the Bike.

                        Still the Bike is lying in the dealer at Dibrugarh and no any response is found from them.

                        Bike stops suddenly while driving, does not start again..
                        Same problem for me also. Bike stops suddenly. It shows the engine light on. And vehicle stops responding. It's having lots of issues. I purchased vehicle from Nagpur tejsree motors. By a third party agent swastic Yamaha at malkapur. Buldana dist. The bike is giving complaint from the third month of purchase. They are not able to solve the issue. Always they take for repairing after one week other problem. They are not having proper service person they are taking for daily wages. One time relay, 3 chalk, switch. They are telling its all electrical part.then one time orange light will show engine. Next day red light the last one its more that 7 months they are not able to solve the issue. They are telling it will have complaint. One time if you want to start the vehicle you need to hit the back seat side fibre inorder to start the vehicle. When engine switch is off also the vehicle will start. If this goes like this for Yamaha brand. I m sure youll loose the customers. And rating. This is the quality Yamaha is giving for a 128000 rs vehicle. It's better to go for tvs it's not even giving any serious complaint now it's more than 2 years. I am sure the Yamaha will loose its reputation by these agencies those who are spoiling there name. I think it's a defective r15 which I have purchased its my life's first time a vehicle is giving this much complaint. From September 28- oct 26 the Byke was with them they told they are taking to Nagpur and kept vehicle there. Yesterday I got the vehicle back today it's complaint always they are charging fee too. It's more than 7 month.And now they are regreting my call when I am stopped on road. The main problem is there is no one to make the move legally. In my way they should not sell vehicle if they does know to solve the problem properly

                        I have a R15 V2.0, i have been riding it for 2 years (7500 km) lately i have been getting strange annoying noise from the engine, the noise increases when i accelerate. The service guy told that it is just the noise it wont affect anything but if i have to make it fix, they will have to work on the engine part, since i took my bike to service station aftermath of Chennai floods, the service stations were full already, the service people told me to take to another service station and also told me that it is just the noise wont affect the bike in large. After a month or so i am giving to servicing annoyed by the noise and the pickup problem, the bike is not going past 60 Kmph in another service station they have given me the estimate of 17500 Rupees . I am completely shocked by the amount estimated for the service. Please reply if anyone faced such issue and whether the amount charged to me is correct, i am yet to get my bike.

                          I'm one of the next customers of FZ 16 midnight black..such a negative response pre-booking can definitely let us down inspite of the liking for this bike having gud things besides..Dealers ought to take it seriously...
                          Same situation prevails here I even booked the bike paying 5 grand and am yet to get the bike its been more than a month now.
                          Yamaha still has poor infrastructure and network in india... it must improve on those before releasind marvellous bikes like FZ 16 and R15. I booked it today... They told me to wait for 1 month.
                          Mybe its b/c they know your grammar sucks :P

                            I have bought a yamaha FZ-16 from Delhi SCooters, Rajouri Garden, New Delhi in the mid of Oct.After taking delivery of my bike while going to my home I noticed that unfortunately my RH shocker started leaking.I was really shocked to see that this type of quality is given by Yamaha Motor India.Then i went to the showroom again to get my bike checked.They said 'no problem we will replace the whole leg' after two days and you could use the bike.At that time the vechile was also inspected by Yamaha motor Engr. Mr Abhinandan.After using my bike for 4-5 days i again went to Delhi Scooter and again i found that my bike's LH shocker also started leaking.This time i was disappointed & again the workshop person said to come after 5 days.Again while using i found a new problem that a whistle sound is coming from the silencer when the bike engine is at idle condition.After few days I took my vechile for replacement of shockers and discussed the same, but this time i was helplessed.Workshop person said this is not a problem & i checked the same in other bikes but this is the only problem in my bike.Now i am in a fix what to do.Plz help me as soon as possible.I could not think this type of quality is given by YAMAHA even in my dreams as I have all the models of yamaha.It is really a very bad experience for me.

                            Most respectfully we the residents of sohan ganj want to submit the folluing facts for kind consideration and immediate action:-

                            1. That sohan ganj is a small resident’s locality lawfully established in preindependence era. There are only 3 streets which are very narrow and all the houses are one side open. all the house are inhabited by law abiding families with simple living . all in all the locality presented a peaceful picture till a few mouths ago.
                            2. a very old building ( 1800 sohan ganj ) which is a 3 side open building is situated on the entrance of Brahmin gali . it was a double story structure built in 1950 and occupied entirely by families barring a few shops on main road side .
                            3. how ever the building was recently purchased by a man belonging to builder mafia he has forcibly evicted all the resident occupiers of the building.
                            4. the builder has built a 5 story building after demolishing the old building in an unauthorized manner the entire structure is unauthorized without any sanctioned building plan it is totally unsafe and dangerous
                            5. due to the banquet hall operating from a residential area, there is acute problem of parking of vehicles . all the visitors to the banquet hall functions park their vehicles in the narrow street leading to severe problems as we are not able to move freely in our own area and not able to park own vehicles.
                            6. on the morning after the function the banquet hall people through the garbage and filth on the street due to which there is foul smell all around it is not even possible to cross the street stay animals push the filth around making the entire street a big garbage dump.
                            7. The building is being used as a banquet hall in open defiance of Supreme Court orders. Even the basement is being used as a banquet hall. Due to this banquet hall the lives of the residents of sohan ganj have become miserable . When ever there is a function ( marriage ) in the banquets hall there is a pollution of all the sorts . There is heavy noise pollution as load music is played till the night . We are unable to sleep and children are not to study at all. the elderly people also feel very much disturbed.
                            8. the area in front of the banquet hall remains crowded with anti social elements and eve teasers due to which the woman talk are unable to walk freely.
                            9. the owner of the banquet hall cleverly camouflaged his activities by hanging a board named ( M G DHARAMSHALA ) in front of the banquet hall so that he can escape sealing action under the garb of a DHARAMSHALA (inn) while actually the place is a full fledged Banquet Hall .
                            10. the sewers of the street in front of the banquet hall start overflowing due to heavy ;oad of sewerage discharged by the Banquet Hall whenever there is a function inside it the dirty water of the sewer was flow on the streets leading to very bad strench all sround the area.
                            11. the owner of the Banquet hall have installed high pressure water pumps which suck in all the water supply during peak hour leading to shortage of water to the area residents
                            12. the Banquet hall mentioned above should be immediately sealed on the following Grounds:

                            a. it is an unauthorized building
                            b. it is a public nuisance
                            c. it is an illegal commercial activity in a residential area.
                            d. It has created acute problem of parking & sewerage in the locality
                            e. The builder has encroached upon more than 2ft of govt land throughout the length of the Banquet Hall.
                            f. On many occasions high capacity diesel generator sets are installed on govt land and used throughout the days and night in contravention of supreme court guidelines.

                            poor service given by the Delhi scooters (Raja garden) first of all they charged extra for bike service. secondly they dont want to replace any part in warranty they argued very badly that part don't has warranty. i really don"t has seen like this in any other company like (tvs, hero- honda, honda etc.) i already convinced to my two friends not to purchase the yamaha bike cause of my bad experience with yamaha. please look into the matter and tr to resolve.                             Rohit, you like good look as you are yound. This is all good. But, Indian customer don't actually notice the BUILD QUALITY that is the most important part. You see FZ is an international bike. And if Yamaha maintain that standard the price would be 3-4 times more in India. As a result no one will actually but that bike. You have to understand it. So the company put some low quality material to make the price low.
                            Remember, the bikes we are getting here are NOT the quality product. Only LOOK is there to inspire the youth. So bad isn't it ?
                            I would there fore suggest you to buy little old models that are already been used for atleast 2/3 years.

                            Like: HH Splin/Passs, YAM Crux/ybr, HON Shine/ Uni, SUZ zet...etc. Then you never have to regreat for the quality!

                              Vodafone services are as poor as they cannot be described. It should pack its bags from India and go back to the Hell.

                              I have purchased a yamaha Gladiator on[protected] from Pickup Yamaha(Gurgaon).The day on which I purchase first they have given me the improper functioning bike. After my insistence that I would not take as bike engine was producing inconsistent noise. They were continuously suggesting that It is not a problem and will be rectified in the first service. If it was not a problem then why it will be rectified after first service. Then I asked the dealership owner about the problem and then only they changed bike.
                              When I had gone for 1st service there is no lubricant oil(Yamaha 4T) and the air compressor was not working at that time. I have traveled 20 Km again just for filling the oil after bike service.
                              Now it has more than 1 and 1/2 month from the date on which I have purchased the bike but I have not got the number of my bike. Whenever I am calling on their(Pick up Yamaha personal) cell numbers they would not pick up the phone. When I call them on landline number they accept the call. They said that you will get your number with in 2 to 3 days but the day has not yet come. Even I have gone to authority but due to typing mistake(incorrect engine number on the paper) of dealership personal authority refused to give me the number.

                              They are telling that I have gone the Authority where I have said (authority official) that I will give any permanent address which is completely baseless. I have gone to authority with their (dealership agent) and authority personal refused due to give number due to incorrect engine number. On 19/11/2008 they ask for permanent address proof and I faxed it promptly. But I do not have any clue why me number has not come yet.

                              The reason they are embarrassing me that I have refused to take the improper functioning bike on the day of purchase.
                              Even on 21/11/2008 they promised to give the number on 22/11/2008 in presence of a Yamaha official and still on 23/11/2008 I have not got that.
                              Please let me know what should I do and where I have to go from now. I suffered a lot of metal strain due to their irresponsible and amateur behavior. I am waiting for your response.

                              Yes. I totally agree. Yamaha service sucks. I have the same chain noise problem and rpm issue. I thought it would get sorted(as i told them specifically) after 1st service. but it wasnt.
                              Apart from service, i have another issue. The chain got rusted so easily and heavily after 3 - 4 days of rain. though it is partly my fault exposing the bike in rain; still i never though it would get this much rusted. May be i have to change it in my sec service.

                              2.Govt. has slashed (bring down) the excise duty (reduced by 4%) of motor vehicles due to global slowdown, for increasing the sale of the motor vehicles manufacturer.

                              3.In the showrooms they are not aware of the same. And they are giving quotations in the previous pricing, which includes the full excise duty.

                              4.Honda motors had also implemented the same in their pricing model.

                              5.If Govt. has slashed the excise duty, you have to bring down the price because you are ultimately returning the duties collected back to the Government. It will not make any loss to your company.


                              So, please look upon the above issue and do the needful.

                              Please let me inform about this issue as soon as possible.

                              Im facing Rear tyre wobbling issue. As it is not felt while riding, but one can see it when the rear wheel is rotated on centre stand and for those who are coming behind the bike while you are riding.

                              Service people say its common wth most FZ's. But i dnt think its a good answer. The've to find the root cause and do the necessary service to repair it.

                              I bought FZ16 on October 2008, from ORPI motors, Coimbatore, and I was out of station for 2 months, the first free service was scheduled on November 2008, till January 1st my vehicle ran only 100 km. I started using the vehicle from January and done 1000 km in February, when i took the vehicle for the first free service, the dealer said he cant take it for the first free service, he can only take the vehicle for the second free service, and my vehicle will not be under warranty.( Reason: I missed the first free service scheduled Nov 2008 )

                              The problem is, What is the use of servicing a vehicle which ran only 100 km. on the first free service scheduled date (i.e.) 30 days or 1000 km. ?

                              I had used Honda, Suzuki, Hero Honda, Bajaj vehicles which I used to service in the authorized service centers only after the scheduled service meter readings not on the count of days, and no one till now except Yamaha complained it.

                              Note: I had also used RX - 135 for 2 years and serviced all the free services in the authorized service centers (ANNAI motors, Coimbatore), only after the service scheduled meter reading not on counting the days

                              This telling about carelessness and noncomplience of a yamaha sales/service centre, named PSN YAMAHA MAMANGALAM, ERNAKULAM DIST.
                              I purchased one yamaha gladiator from 10 months back. The fifth service i have completed from there. All service times i have faced problems. Service is very poor, they simply polish the things out side not even check the battery watre/break fluid/air too... and many many complaints i had with them. this comment i am writing afer finding the no water in in my yamaha battery after i had given for service 5 days back. JUST NOW I HANDED OVER MY BATTERY IN A LOCAL BATTERY SERVICE CENTRE... IT MIGHT HAVE SPOILED...It is true they did not check the same while service. Really i am fed up with this PSN yamaha. they are looking only for sales not for after sale service.
                              I am looking for another center for service. I feel the yamaha must check them properly, other wise they may loose customer for buying the same. Let me open, i too prevent my friends to buy yamaha due to this issue. I had been using my own hero honda bike for more than 10 yrs... i FEEL NOW I MADE MISTAKE BOUGHT A YAMAHA THIS TIME.

                              Pick-up Yamaha (Gurgaon) peoples are fraud, they dont know anything about bikes. I had met with an accident few months earlier and after that i had taken my bike to them for servicing and overall checkup. First they said you have to leave your bike in serivce station and then leave the place and get the bike after 6-7 hours. When after 7 hours i went to take my bike they said everything is fine with the bike, and they dont engine oil and oil filter so they cant replace them and asked me to continue with the same old oil and they will replace them in next service. they were not having even a single spare part of the bike and i was completely unsatisfied with the service they (pickup yamaha) had provided. On the next i took my bike to delhi (Delhi Scooters) for the complete check up and again for the servicing this time i paid for servicing. Delhi scooters guys told me that front fork is not aligned, handle has to be replaced and few other things are to be done in bike.

                              I dont know why yamaha motors india ltd gave dealership to pickup yamaha, they should cancel there dealership as soon as possible if they want some satisfied costumers. Yamaha has hade many milestones in Indian motosbiking and these peoples like (pickup yamaha) are ruining yamaha brand.

                              dear friends . all the yamaha service center are not doing there job good. i have tried in all the yamaha service center in our town. (coimbatore tamil nadu) . i only thing i have done is i contineously service my bike in one service station . this think helped me to keep my bike . if they say not spares try to get the yamaha spares from other shops and ask the people to do the service. i have also supplied spanners of my own.                               I had purhased YAMAHA FZ-16 from Ganesh Enterprises, Vikhroli, Mumbai in November 2008 end. When I gave the bike for 3rd Service this morning at Kamla Yamaha, Lower Parel, Mumbai I was asked by them to get the Unique ID No. from Ganesh Ent. to get the benefit of Free Service. In spite of continuous follow up, Ganesh Ent. have not given me the Unique ID No. You will appreciate that I may have to pay for the free service for no fault of mine. Is this the service expected from Yamaha Dealers like Ganesh Enterprises ?

                              I PURCHASE YAMAHA FZ-16, PROBLEM is that the bike is not having that much power as per my aspectation, now i want to increase the power of my bike, so please suggest some tips for that.mileage is not a issue.its ok if i replace the fz piston with with pulsar 200cc, and little changes with cam-shaft(high lifting cam) and valve bigger one.

                              I bought an Fz 6 months back. I love the bike and sure Yamaha has done a wonderful job in this bike. But the after sale service is horrible. It feels as if the bike is washed, polished and given back. My bike doesn't give me a feel of a serviced bike. Whom should I be meeting in regards to this.

                              sir, am a fz 16 owner last 8 months, my vehicle date of purchase[protected].my complaint is my bikes chain sounds like a jerking, it also the chain will running half portion tightly and half loosely, the problem will came after 10000 km.becoz of that problem i see my bike two service centers in kottayam and cochin(S.G motors kottyam), then the( PSN motors cochin), the two service centers the wash the chain and lubed with yamaha lube spray, after this procedure, the bike was okey up to 150 km, after the 150 km the sound is back.with the same jerking and looseness and half portion tight, my bike is now over15500 km, and i done 6th service.this the main problem with the fz16, in this problem i bad riding comfort and bad performance from my bike, what i do, i done the services correctly, and the chain lube and wash every 500 km, .pls give a good result from your part.

                              Hi,

                              I am utterly infuriated and disgusted about the miserable service & management from Yamaha Factory Shop at Kolkata. I wish to bring to your notice the blunder I faced at your Service Center.

                              I met with an accident on 19th July. On 29th July of 2009 I took my bike FZ16 (Reg. No. WB 26L 7912) to Yamaha Factory Shop Kolkata from where I bought this vehicle 5 months back.

                              Some Mr. Sudip Debnath (who claimed himself to be a Service manager) inspected my bike referring an estimation which included changing of right side fork (front), handle bar, headlight & many other parts & told me it will take at least 10 – 15 days for the entire activity to complete. After 22days when I called Mr. Sudip Debnath, he informed me fork is not available so he will change the barrel of the right side front fork. 28th August, 2009 when I called him he told me to come to the showroom on 29th August around 2 pm. When I reached the service center, I realized what a blunder I had made by leaving my bike at the hand of this so called service Manager. They had kept the bike unattended for 30 days outside the garage and it created an addition to the already damaged bike. When I approached them I found that they were repairing another bike (Reg. No. WB 26L 5357) instead of mine and confidently told me that it was my bike. To my utter dismay and agony I found that the condition of the bike was as it was submitted 1 month earlier. When I confronted them they started to work on my bike. Surprisingly this time Mr. Debnath told me that the right fork of my bike has no problem! Though one month earlier he was the one who told me right fork was bent. Moreover for repairing the fork I waited for 1 month. They kept the bike for 31 days. Hence I want to ask Yamaha authority how this time the right fork got repaired on its own.

                              Though they changed both the side tanks, digital metes, exhaust muffler etc in front of me gave me the bike. Though handle bar was clearly bent, chain was badly rusted they don’t have chain lube also to lubricate the chain.

                              However in the next morning I saw front rim was severely bent and front alignment was totally spoiled. Bike was vibrating like HELL, control was gone way, engine was roaring badly. Again I went to Service Center, asked Mr Debnath. After a road test he admitted front alignment & rim was bent. But surprisingly he has no resolution this time also. He told me to call him on 4th September.

                              Now please clarify the following points.
                              1. Why another bike (WB 26L 5357 owner Mr Avishek) was treated in stead of mine (WB 26L 7912)?
                              2. Why my bike was kept 31 days in the open without any proper assessment of the problems of my bike.
                              3. Why Mr. Sudip Debnath told me right fork was bent & kept me awaited for 31 days and denied that problem on 29th August?
                              4. Why Mr. Sudip Debnath did not take any step when I pointed the problems (front rim bent, front alignment bent) on 30 th August?

                              Do you feel that I am some kind of a fool that I don’t understand how my bike was running? Your customers pay for the bike and also for these stupid repairs which has no sense in the end. It seems that we need to pay Yamaha for the sufferings too. Will somebody reimburse me the amount which I pay to travel to your service centre and also for the number of calls which I make? Or do you people take this as matter of fact?

                              I feel that either you should investigate the problem of the bike or else replace the bike for the treatment given to me. Although my suffering cannot be calculated in money I wish I can at least hope that some high authority will take a note of the grievance. Now I have reached a point where I wish to sell of my bike instead of speaking to your callous service manager. I shall also make sure that none of my friends get a Yamaha bike. Being a world famous brand for automobile this sort of treatment is unacceptable. I feel that if you have to live up to your brand name you should remove this type of Service Manager so that genuine customers do not suffer that way I did.

                              If you care for your brand name and your reputation kindly respond with a positive feedback by taking strong action against your Service Manager and getting my bike repaired to its past glory.

                              i own a RX135 byke.i had newly bought cone sets.within two weeks its working get finished.then all the mud guard parts(all the nuts and bolts) get removed without my permission.the nut and bolt they gave where old one.they just take away the good and give me old one. so, the summary is that the parts installing at our bikes are duplicate.
                              yamaha really not providing good services ppl..i was having some handle problem since the 2nd day i purchased ma byk..its fz16 the lord of streets so called bike..i had done ma 3 services till date, nd shown the showrum ma byk for 3 4 times regardinthe handle problm..they do some temporary jobs..on the first day it goes cool..agin from the second day the handle starts showing probs as before..hav told them a lot of tym they just say will do sumtyn ..but its really not workin..i want them to provide me fully satisfied option for corrrecting ma handle problm..its aserious issue since i loose ma balance always while taking turns and bendin on curves..i reallly love ma bike nd want it to b hundred percent well..

                              Hi, I bought Yamaha fazer from you dealer, Ambal Motors in chennai. it's been close to 10 days since i purchased but still they did not give me the registration number. They got extra money for registration but at the end they said i have to take the bike for registration which is against the procedure. Tolerating this, i drove more than 50 kms to RTO for registration. However they rejected mine because your dealer did not submit the proper documents i gave to them. This is ridiculous. They bother only selling of the vehicle and nothing more than that. DON'T YAMAHA HAVE A PROFESSIONAL STANDARD FOR THEIR DEALERS? remember, i refused to go for honda unicorn because of the bad service by its dealers. and you cann't imagine how many customers honda would have lost by this time.                               using fz16 for last 8months. i was using Yamaha bikes for last 10years. no doubt that fz16 was a good choice for my city ride. But from first service itself i was complaining to service personnels that its tyre pressure not maintaining correctly for more than 4-5 days. one said to try nitrogen gas, but that also failed... during last service given bike 2days for finding that problem. but no use.. just on 2nd day after inflating rear tyre with 38ps bike skid on road side, just then i checked again and it was 20ps only.. no punctures, then i removed alloy and tyre and dipped in water... found that air leaking from alloy edge from both tyres.

                              reported it to dealers they took bike 2days for inspecting it in local MRF showroom... and promised to replace rear alloys.. but even after 2weeks they are not able to did that, saying no stock..
                              they inflated my front tyre with 40ps and said that front alloys are ok... how to ride in that tyre pressure.. still i believe there is good punch in fz16...but... they are too bad to rectify problems through sales network...
                              in fact i was trapped... cant go for long ride, night ride.., dont know when it get solved..

                              I would like to draw your attention regarding a problem with the after sale service at one of your dealer "Excellent Yamaha" 1, Shanti Sadan, 45, Telli Park Road, Andheri (east) Mumbai where I have purchased FZ 16 Registration No: MH-02- BK- 1512.

                              Please find below my experience with my last paid service.

                              1) Servicing is not carried out in a professional manner. It’s better if I wash it at home with a hose and clean it myself.

                              2) They Charge us for filter and oil replacement, but when I checked the engine oil at home the same day, the oil was black and watery. I have been cheated by Excellent Yamaha and this matter is serious and could tarnish Yamaha India’s name. I have been using bikes since 23 years and never seen an unprofessional service center like Excellent Yamaha

                              3) The rear excel nut was lose and could easily maneuver it with your bare hands.

                              Suggestion: Yamaha should have a training program before appointing a dealer as how to respect their customer weather he is buying a 70000/- Vehicle or a R-1 for 13 Lakhs. I have never experience this type of attitude from any of the car dealers when ever we have purchased a vehicle.

                              I have had a similar experience with this service dealer. I gave my bike for the first service and it was a painful affair. they were not attentive and at last I got the service done with lots of requests. However they claimed they have changed the engine oil. but when i checked engine oil after few days it was not being changed and got it changed from outside. It is a pathetic customer service. Yamaha should ban this dealer.

                              i have just purchased a fz16 2 months back.what seemed to me as a dream bike has turned into a nightmare.the reason for buying this lovely bike was for its riding experience.not anymore.since i started riding this bike the engine stalls on the 3rd or 4th gear n when i leave the clutch the bike jump starts putting a lot of load on the clutch.i even explained this to the service advisor at the malad showroom but has'nt been able to do anything yet.on asking him, what will i have to do if the cluth wears out he says i will have to pay for a new clutch plate.if there is a problem with the engine stalling why shoud i pay for the clutch kit.please do look into this matter as i also have some other fz owners complaining about the same.and also the management at your malad workshop truly and disappointingly sucks.im sorry but please do see into the matter..
                              I have puchased FZ one month ago but it has noice in front disc as well as in rear break, i have checked two times in Yamaha service station and Yamaha showroom but i m not satisfied from it.

                              am Saranya R varma from cochin.I have a complaint against PSN yamaha, Mamangalam, Cochin.i brought a Yamaha ray z on 2/12/13.the customer service of this service centre was very poor.i didnt get any accessories free even a helmet.thats ok.but the behaviour of a lady i think the sales coordinator is very irritatable.she doesnt know how to behave with the customers.i suggest each & everyone not to go with PSN yamaha.it is the most worst customer service i have ever come across.

                                i have booked yamaha fz-16 on 20/9/08...and dealer promised me to deliver the bike in third week of october...i have already given him the full amount but still i have not got my bike so far...they are delaying it purposefully...
                                many people who booked bike after me have already got their bikes because they have paid 5000/- extra or they must be some big shots...
                                now what should i do?
                                or can somebody give me yamaha's customer care no. so that i can complain there also??

                                As my bike got repaired while riding there is a huge sound accured suddenly, i stopped my bike at the corner of the road and called Sri motors service people at the time of 9:30 AM, and they came at 11:30 AM for more than one and a half an hour i stood on the road for them at maduravoyal their office is at near Ashok pillar.
                                They took my bike on 19.08.09. There is no reply i gave my mobile no also then later next day 20.08.09 i called them the reply was still not open the engine. ok next day 21.05.09 i called the reply was valve got bend need to change i said ok the valve is covered in warrenty, then next day 22.08.09 i again called they said mostly by today u will get your bike, before going to their service centre i called them the reply was no not yet ready. The next day was sunday 23.08.09, then today is Monday 24.08.09 i keep on calling them from morning to evening 5:30 PM the phone not picked up, i went straightly the centre was closed, still not yet got my bike these are the list happened this is my problem which i faced from 19.08.09 to till date, i was very much depressed and tensed. my brand new bike FZ16 Just not even 3months bike is still is service centre.

                                Kindly take steps this is a big issue keep on depressed for a single man makes his heart too weak.

                                Dear Sir,

                                I have purchased a Yamaha motorbike on 2nd July 2009 (Class MCY, make YAMAHA FZ 16 ST) from M/s Standard Yamaha, Bhopal. The bike could be registered on my name after more than a months timei.e on 17th Aug. 2009. Upon approaching to the Standard Yamaha several times they informed that they have sent the chasis no. (ME121C[protected]) and engine no. (21C1051372) to the RTO on a different name and therefore the vehicle could not be registered. Where as as per the Motor Vehicle Act the vehicle should be registered within 10 days after its sale. The delay in the registration has caused humiliation to me as I was driving a vehicle without registration number because of the shear negligence of the dealer.
                                This mistake could be resolved after a long discussion with the dealer and finally the vehicle was registered on my name with registration no. MP 04 MR 7842.
                                Yamaha has provided some free services to me.when I went for 4th service to another authorized service center, thet told me that your free service is laps.according to them this bike is not registerd on my name.it was shocking for me.they then I went to the STANDARD Yamaha.again they tried to hide the truth, ,
                                However the book (service and warrenty book) could not be transferred on my name inspite of my several request to the dealer. They informed that this particular vehicle has no history in the database being maitained by the company. So whenever I go for free servicing the dealer refuses and informed that vehicle has already been serviced. As there is no record in the central database and no due services are being provided to me I have doubt that whether other benefits like warranty and guarentee etc shall be extended to me. I came to know about this fact when I approached another dealer for free service as I was dissatified with the services provided by M/s Standard Yamaha.


                                Should I go to the CONSUMER FORUM for my complaint???

                                    I am Mr Soheb Lakdawala and an unfortunate Yamaha customer.
                                    This complaint is addressed to all the higher authority of Yamaha Motors and to all people in Mumbai.
                                    This complaint is against Mr Ajay Bari Manager of Yamaha showroom in Malad Mumbai - India
                                    I am complaining because Mr Ajay Bari does not know how to speak to his customers "I am Sorry, Yamaha customers, he is very rude and back answers the customer right on their face as thinks he owns the company, he is doing a favor by selling the bike to the customer as if he is gifting them.
                                    I am affraid that he is spoiling Yamaha's reputation as he is not capable of being a manager with this attitude.
                                    I am complaining as i have faced this rude person at Yamaha and there is no complaint book or public relation person to take my complaint at the showroom
                                    I hope that the higher authority takes action against him
                                    I am and will be available if the authority needs me for a talk.

                                        I dont know by writing this matter here what benefit will be there.
                                        I have Yamaha Fazer bike.
                                        Manifold for the same is failed and I am not able to get the same anywhere. Even Harshil Motors, Baroda is not having the spares for the product what they sell. They also not co-operating for the issue. So what to do now. Why the customers of Yamaha is so helpless?
