Yamaha Motor India — fraud by service engineer

I had given my bike to the Yamaha service center for repair. After three days, I received a call from the service engineer informing me that there was an issue with the ECU. However, he mentioned that the required part was not available at the service center. Instead, he offered me a second-hand ECU at a discount of ₹500 compared to a brand-new one.

When I visited the service center, he advised me not to disclose this arrangement, as he had only mentioned a battery issue in the job card. This raises serious concerns, as it appears that he is trying to charge me for an ECU replacement that may not actually be necessary. His actions suggest an attempt to mislead me and extract money dishonestly.

I would appreciate a thorough review of this situation to ensure transparency and fair service.
