Dear Yamaha Customer Support,
I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding a serious issue with my recently purchased Yamaha MT-15 motorcycle.
I purchased the bike on 25th October 2025 from Krishna Motors, Rajapalayam and used it until 27th October. On 28th October, I was contacted by the showroom and informed that there was an RTO-related issue pending. They requested the bike back, and a representative from the showroom collected it that afternoon.
Later that day, I contacted the showroom to request the bike’s return. They assured me it would be returned the next morning, and on 29th October, the bike was indeed returned. However, they mentioned that they had changed the bike’s lock due to an unspecified issue and also requested my spare key.
Upon inspecting the returned bike, I discovered that it was not the same motorcycle I had originally purchased. Although the color matched, the frame number and other details were different. I immediately contacted Yamaha Customer Care, and was told that the bike currently in my possession is the one registered under my name.
Here are the details for your reference:
Original Bike Frame Number: ME1RGA859S0011589
Returned Bike Frame Number: ME1RGA859S0010389
I am extremely concerned about this discrepancy and request Yamaha to investigate this matter urgently. I would like my original bike with frame number ME1RGA859S0011589 returned to me.
Please treat this issue with priority and provide a resolution at the earliest.
