I wish to raise a formal complaint regarding my Yamaha Aerox and the unsatisfactory service/warranty experience.

Issue Faced:
My scooter suddenly failed to start and was handed over to the authorized service center on 6th February 2026.
After inspection, I was informed of:
• Wiring harness problem
• Ignition coil failure
For a scooter that has not completed 2 years, such major electrical failures are highly concerning.

Warranty Concern:
Despite the short ownership period, I have now been informed that:
The repair is “not covered under warranty.”
No clear technical explanation or proper justification was provided for rejecting warranty coverage.

• ₹20, 000 for parts
• ₹4, 000 labour
Total: ₹24, 000
This is an excessive repair cost for a relatively new premium scooter.

• Vehicle held at service center for more than 20 days

• Lack of proactive updates
• Significant inconvenience due to extended downtime

My Expectations from Yamaha Motor India:
I request Yamaha Motor India to:
1. Provide written technical justification for warranty rejection
2. Reconsider warranty / goodwill coverage
3. Offer relief on the ₹24, 000 repair cost
4. Ensure immediate repair and delivery
5. Improve communication and customer support standards
