[Resolved] Yatra.com — airlines cancelled the flight, but yatra is not refunding the amount | |
I have booked my flight tickets (Indigo) from bangalore to dehradun (Travel date:29th march 2020, pnr hlt2ua) and dehradun to bangalore (Travel date:5th april 2020, pnr nlsm3n) through yatra app for a family of 5. On 9th march i realiesd from te indigo website that boht the flights were cancelled. I reached out to yatra support and ticket 24479342 was raised. Initially yatra team said, i will have to pay hefty fine even if airlines cancel the flight. Later yatra team suggested to either opt for an alternate flight or opt for refund. I replied on 9th march evening mentioning that i am opting for refund. After that reply, there is no communication/response from yatra team on refund. Now it is more than 3.5 days. I raised another case 24469952 to understand the refund process. I got a response saying they will get back, but no reply for 3.5 days now. My rs:50, 000 is stuck here. I am looking for fast refund of the amount. As per indigo airlines policy, if airlines cancel the flight, full refund will be given Was this information helpful? | |

Based on the price shown on the yatra app, I booked my ticket for 16th March. I made a payment but received unconfirmed message. The amount has been deducted but there's no way I've been able to get my refund. The reference number is[protected].

this is in regards to booking reference number[protected]. flight was cancelled from airlines end. still you are deducting convinience fee of rs. 1000. i do understand its a non refundable component. but think from my end as a consumer, i am not being serviced and already incurring losses like my plans, meetings, bookings, other dependencies etc as flight is cancelled by airlines. in such case, is it ethical to deduct another amount adding up my losses further. requesting you to waive off convinience fee which will allow me to further use this app and share to others. thank you
