[Resolved] Yatra.com — flight ticket refund issue with yatra.com

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have had an extremely bad experience with Yatra.com online flight ticket booking service. I had booked a ticket on the Tue, May 21 2019, 11:07 AM of an amt. of Rs.5058 for Thu, 23 May, 2019 from Delhi to Mumbai but after the payment the ticket status was shown this is unconfirmed ticket (PFA) to confirm your ticket kindly pay Rs.1268 more or you can cancel it your Rs. 5058 booking amount will be refunded to your EMIOption within 5-7 working days but after this the refund amount could not be processed than I moved to Customer care but they are try to avoid me and force to leave this amount. I am explaining following step by step..
1- Login in the Yatra web page to book flight ticket from Delhi to Mumbai.
2- Choose Air India flight which was showing 4900 something & with all Taxes its was Rs. 5059 then I choose the EMI option & book the ticket through HDFC credit card.
3- After payment its showing payment has been completed successfully but you seat is not confirm. please pay Rs. 1268 more for confirm your ticket.
or you can choose following option to cancel this booking the amount Rs. 5059 will be refunded on your EMI option .
4- So I choose cancel after this Yatra send me a mail after cancellation PFA where they mention (Oops! We are facing some difficulty processing your refund request. The amount of Rs. 5, 059.00 will be refunded to your EMIOption within 5-7 working days. ).
5 - But they never refund my amount after many argue with customer care they offer me to refund Rs. 1600 but I deny for this I request him for RS.5059.
6- Now they deny for any refund and lying about every thing.

This is with reference to you concern regarding the booking under reference number[protected]. We would like to share with you, your booking was failed online, we have shown you a message that the team will be connecting with you within 3hrs. Meanwhile, you have claimed a refund on your unconfirmed reservation, which was not processed and we advised you that refund will be processed within 5-7 working days. The team as per the advised time contacted on the registered number and have asked if the booking is required the person on call said ok for the ticket and the ticket was issued after taking the confirmation. We would request you to kindly check the details at your end and let us know if there is any disconnect we will be pleased to assist you.

The INR 1600 refund which you are mentioning, if the booking was canceled as per the policy you would have got the same refund. The ticket has been no-show hence this refund will not be applicable now.

Updated by imrankhaniit I did not get any call regarding confirmation as I quickly decide to go given option to cancel and get 5059 INR. you can check the call timing & refund mail timing.
I instantly take decision to not paid additional more money 1268 so as per option provided by your web application I choose to cancel unconfirmed booking & got email about Rs. 5059 refund.
so the whole scenario was performed in row thats why not possible any verbal communication.
I already submit all evidence with you.

If you have claimed the refund online then why did person over the call, shared the consent to confirm the booking.

At that time, the person who picked up the call must deny for the booking. So that our executive could proceed with the refund.

Post taking the confirmation over the call, the booking was confirmed.

The agent called on the registered number and mentioned that you were trying to confirm a booking. Which was not confirmed. I am calling regarding the same and asked if the booking needs to be confirmed for AirIndia flight, upon receiving a yes (from Mr Zubair)booking was confirmed.

All the details have been shared with you earlier as well & this is the best resolution from our end in this regard.

you are lying please provide confirmed ticket mail I know you don't have & no one confirm ticket over phone
this was your application issue you are taking Rs. 5059 unnecessary
