We have booked Malaysian Airlines flights to Bali through Yatra.com online.PNR.U4FC8Q
Before a week of flight the flights were cancelled by the airlines.Afters 10s of emails to yatra and later realising that they do not have a office in Hyderabad, I tried to put mails once in a while.Even they are not reachble tgrough customer care.They replied aftwr 6mnths stating I can book again by Dec 2020...When the flights are not being operated, how can I rebook them.I mentioned the same and put up tens of mails again.After 6months they asked me for my bank details stating NEFT would be done and I provided them immediately in March.But till now not even a single response from their side. How pathetic they can be even without any response at all.This has been a kind of mental harassment for the past 15months.

I have sent the bank details n scanned copy of passbook front page to your email 5 times from March to June...Its such a pathetic condition that even the mails are not being checked by the support team in such a leading company.I am done with this mental pressure.

I received a call today from a person saying he is from consumer complaints yatra backend team and gave a code for refund.Though I insisted on Neft through bank but they made me use the code and money was transeferred to their account from my account.
I understand this is the work of somebody from consumer complaints or yatra, otherwise how would they know I would receive a refund from yatra.Moreover they spoke so convincingly and said please mark as resolved after receiving the amount.
I shall not leave this here and surely will lodge a complaint on the two companies to the cyber crime regarding this open fraud.

        Hi,

        I had booked an Air India International flight via Yatra for travel in May. I was denied boarding at the airport due to new COVID related travel restrictions at the transit country. Air India said they would be able to issue a refund once Yatra submits an RA (Refund Application). I have been trying to get a confirmation from Yatra that they had submitted the RA and get the RA number so that I can follow up with Air India for 45 days now, but the support staff has kept bouncing me around. I keep getting a reply saying they will get back to me in 2-3 days, which they have said over 10 times now. Yatra does not even have a phone number I can reach them on, and they are taking advantage of the fact that I do not have a recourse through which I can contact them directly. All I need is the RA reference number (for the RA they submitted). Would greatly appreciate any help! This is honestly the worst customer experience I have ever had.

          I have booked a ticket for my aunty to travel from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad on 20 April, 2021 for Air India(AI - 9537). But it got cancelled by Air India later before two to three days of Travel. I have been following up for refund till then but amount did not refunded till now.

          Initially Yatra refund status reads as refund in progress it will take some time to reflect, please come back and check in next 24 hours like that. But now it reads (We cannot find any refund initiation request for the reference number[protected]. If you have cancelled the ticket directly via the airline or the airline has cancelled the flight, please go to 'My bookings', select your booking, and click on 'Claim Refund' to initiate a refund request.
          Once the refund is initiated, you will get an SMS and email about the refund details.) as if I did not file any refund. I have got an email as well on 07 August, 2020 with refund number as well. But yet they say now that they are no refunds filed for this booking.

          At the same time now I can't see my booking in claim refund as well. Not sure why it did not show my booking if I did not file refund yet. Strangely my earlier communications with Yatra also not listed anymore on Yatra site, they are wiped off.

          Couple of weeks back I again tried reaching Yatra and they asked me to share either Passenger Bank Details or Yatra Acct Holder Bank Details to process refund. I replied with my Yatra Acct Holder Bank Details but the response I got is Yatra Acct Holder is not you (the details I shared) but the Passenger. I replied with details of Yatra Acct with screenshot and there after no response at all even after multiple followups almost every day.

          Yes Passenger name is Vani Sulochana Rachumallu who is my Aunty but I booked from my Yatra account and paid from my bank account.

          Anyways, should I share my bank details here ? I suggest you share your official email id to share the bank statement.

But After Payment The Extra Baggage Was Not Included Due To Yatra's Technical Issues Due To Which I Had To Pay Extra At The Airport Counter .Extra Baggage Cost Is Lesser At The Time Of Flight Booking Than Paying At Airport Counter . (Loss Of Rs.4000)
            2.) Also Yatra Was Running A Promo Discount Offer Of Rs.700/Pax But I Was Given A Discount Of Only Rs.600/Pax (Loss Of Rs.200)

As we investigated and found that as per booking records, we had received the amount of INR 9162 only instead of INR 13162 as mentioned on the shared screenshot under Yatra reference number[protected]. Please note we have not received the baggage amount from your end. Hence, it was not added at the time of booking. As per the update, the correct discount of INR 1200 was provided at the time of booking. Please be informed that as per the offer terms and conditions, the discount was INR 700 per person (Maximum INR 1200). We hope that the above information will suffice the purpose.

              Hi,

              Due to the pandemic, our flights to Amritsar, Leh and Jammu.

              Yatra had initiated a refund but hasn't made the payment in over a year. They have over 1, 00, 000 of our money which they need to refund.

              First;y, they do not have a customer care number for flight refunds. They only provide e-mail address to which they have not replied to in over a month after multiple follow-ups.

                My flight BLR-GAU(PNR- WA26AZ) of Vistara airlines which was booked via Yatra was cancelled for by Vistara on 27th April 2021. On the same day itself I raised refund request in Yatra(Reference Number[protected] but still no refund credited till now. I have mailed Yatra 4 times and still their reply is same that it is under process and it will be credited within 7-10 working days. Meanwhile I even got reply from Vistara that they have processed the amount to yatra and the same mail I have forwarded to Yatra but sadly I got the same lame mail from Yatra that it under process and money will be credited in 7-10 working days. I have never faced this type of fraudulent service from Yatra. Even in Yatra app the status is same which was on 27th April 2021 I.e it is under process. For crediting 7k Yatra needs more that one month. Either their process is slow or they are bankrupt. For your reference I have uploaded all the mail's between yatra and me.

                  I have booked a connecting flight from Bangalore to Kashmir on 6th April for 28th May 2021. Due to covid, we decide to cancel, and after follow-up with AirAsia airline, they said they would do a full refund even if we cancel from our end. On 22nd May 2021, and said that refund would be on the original payment. If it's done through a travel agency, then it would transfer to a travel agency. Now the twist is from 22nd, and we have been trying to reach yatra on their mail id. Invariably, we get an automated email id. We don't see any refund request options—pathetic experience. My flight cost was 37278. now I am struggling to collect my payment.

                      I had made a booking for a flight scheduled on 30th April 2021 via yatra app, the airlines was go-air. The flight was cancelled by the airline and subsequently yatra cancelled my booking.

                      I have paid an amount of Rupees 4626. When I reached the airlines, they say that they have already initiated the full refund. However yatra says that I am not elegible for a refund because of cancellation charges. Since the flight was cancelled by the airlines, there shouldn't be any cancellation charges and I am entitled for a full refund of 4626 rupees. It has already been a month now.

                      I am attaching the ticket details for your kind reference.

                        I have booked a ticket on Yatra on 19th February, 2020 for the flight Air India for 21st May, 2020 amounting to Rs 9910/-

                        Flight Canelled due to Covid-19 Nationwide Lockdown by airline

                        Ticket was cancelled by the operator due to Covid-19 Nationwide Lockdown. But the refund has not yet been processed even after 1 year.

                        Even making repeated requests every month for refund, they didn't refund the amount for more than 1 year now.

                        Whenever I have made the complaint, customer support personnel promise to refund the same in 7-10 days and after one month they marked the complaint as resolved without refunding the money.

                        I didn't expected such a pathetic service by them. Not refunding customer's money, is also a kind of fraud with the customer. I request the consumer complaints authority to please look into this matter

                            I, Biswajiban Sharma, booked an air ticket, via yatra.com, and subsequently canceled due to medical reason on March 7, 2021. The airline, Indigo, reversed the fare after thorough deduction to yatra.
                            But yatra people are sitting on my money and not refunding to my account. After numerous mails, tweets, phone calls, yatra people are unmoved, except one false promise via mail that we have processed your refund. But my bank, SBI, has categorically said, that yatra hasn't sent any refund, if at all, it will reflect automatically.
                            Later, I sent a lot of mails and tweets to yatra.com, but all of them have fallen on deaf ears.
                            I am senior journalist working in Delhi, and yatra.com is harassing just like anything. Kindly resolve this as soon as possible.

                              I (Niketan Zode) booked a GOAIR flight from Yatra,
                              Date of Booking - 17th May'21
                              Booking ref - LD9N7X
                              Booking was cancelled by service provider itself(GoAIR) due to some operational issue.
                              So i claimed for refund of full amount and so was accepted by GoAir agency as well. After speaking to GOAIR customer care, they informed that they have initiated 100% refund process.
                              Since my booking is done from YATRA so i should be expecting refund via Yatra only. That's the process as informed by GOAIR
                              I have tried calling Customer care Yatra but not able to contact. hence writing complain to get into notice and get refund of my cancelled booking.

                                I had booked a ticket for a connecting flight of British Airways from Bombay to Montgomery via London with British Airways' agent yatra.com (https://www.yatra.com/) vide Booking reference[protected]. British Airways had cancelled the flight on[protected]. So, yatra.com rescheduled my travel on[protected] on Flight No.BA0138 vide Booking reference 6UMO5Z. Accordingly, I reached Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport on time. I had valid travel documents including a US VISA. However, the British Airlines staff did not allow me to board the flight. So, I requested Yatra.com for a refund of my unused ticket. Yatra.com vide email dated 30 March 2021had intimated to me that the total cancellation charges would be Rs.11063/- including the Airlines Cancellation Penalty of Rs.7000/-. However, Yatra.com vide the email dated 15th May 2021, Yatra.com intimated to me that the Airlines Cancellation Penalty would be Rs.10234.14/- and the total cancellation charges would be Rs.13, 647.14Ps. I, therefore, vide email dated 15th May 2021 sought clarification from Yatra.com about the variance in the cancellation fees stated in the email dated 30 March 2021 and 15th May 2021. Yatra.com vide the email dated 17th May 2021 intimated to me that the Airline Penalty would be Rs.7000/- and the total cancellation charges would be Rs.13027/- Yatra.com is thus, taking a contrary stand to defraud me of my money. Yatra.com wants to earn money both at the time of booking and cancellation of the ticket in the name of Service Fee and Convenience Fee.

                                Yatra.com vide email dated 9th April 2021 had intimated to me that I have an option to utilize the value of the ticket towards the purchase of a new ticket on American for travel to begin within one year of the original ticket issuance date. So, I vide email dated 28th April 2021 requested Yatra.com to help me book a return ticket from the value of the unused ticket. However, Yatra.com vide email dated 8th May 2021 asked me to contact the Airlines. Whereas, British Airways Customer Relation vide the email dated[protected] had intimated to me that Yatra.com is the owner of my reservation and is responsible for helping me before or during my journey, as part of my contract with Yatra.com. This should include making any changes I need, correcting a ticket if there's a spelling mistake in a name, or cancelling my tickets if I am unable to travel, as well as providing other travel advice and adding service requests, and called upon me to contact Yatra.com regarding the refund of your unused ticket. Thus, both Yatra.com and British Airways have been passing the buck to one another. So, I request that strict action may please be taken against Yatra.com for committing a breach of the contract.

On April 8, 2021, a refund is given by the airline. And how much time do you need. Payed with credit cardin feb 2019. Lokdown took place in March 2020. Till date, I am paying interest.

                                    I have booked my flight from Hyderabad to Chennai to London on January 26th on yatra.com for the date of travel Feb 2nd, 2021. But the flight got cancelled by the airlines (Air India) and I have contacted yatra and they have rescheduled the flight to Feb 16th and then again the flight got cancelled by the airlines. I have contacted Yatra on Feb 11th when I got an email about the flight cancellation and requested for refund...

                                      I booked my tickets online on 22nd January 2021 through Yatra since I had heard that they provided good deals. Unfortunately, due to COVID, I had to cancel my tickets around Mid February 2021. I immediately contacted Yatra for a refund. After writing repeated emails, I finally got a reply from their end after I brought this issue up on Twitter. I tried coordinating with the airline but Yatra refused to cooperate and provide me the basic information that I needed to properly contact the airline.

                                      Finally, I did get my refund on March 17th, 2021, But I had been overcharged for the cancellation. According to the airline policy, the airline was not charging any cancellation charges due to COVID. Further, I even called the arline's customer service helpline to confirm this and I was assured that I had not been charged any cancellation charges from their end.

                                      Yatra provided me an invoice that included not only their cancellation charges but also 'airline Cancellation Charges'. So I again had to start with the process of writing them emails and following up. I provided the Airline's policy to Yatra multiple times in addition to informing them about my communication to the airlines.

                                      I have spent so much of my time and energy on getting back the money I am entitled for. It is just disheartening to see companies cheating their customers and mistreating them.

                                      I am now looking to get back the wrongly and excessively deducted refund from Yatra. I hope this issue gets resolved soon.
