Dear customer care
On 17.12.2019 i had booked flight tickets for 8 passengers for a trip from kolkata to bangalore (09.04.2020) and back (13.04.2020), the pnr numbers being k6b1qk and dmke6x.
However due to the nationwide corona pandemic we received 2 emails from yatra booking on 27.03.2020, vis -
1. Urgent update from indigo airlines for your travel on 13-apr-20, which stated that “as per the recent directives by directorate general of civil aviation (Dgca), all indigo domestic flights are suspended from 25th march until 14th april. There is no need to call yatra or indigo to cancel your booking. Indigo will automatically cancel all booking between 25th march till 14th april.”
2. Urgent update from air asia airlines for your travel on 9-apr-20, which stated that “as per the recent directives by directorate general of civil aviation (Dgca), all air asia domestic flights are suspended from 25th march until 14th april. There is no need to call yatra or air asia to cancel your booking. Air asia will automatically cancel all booking between 25th march till 14th april.”
I also received another email on 08.04.2020 from yatra booking with the subject - “ya:24718559' cancellation of booking pnr: k6b1qk and pnr: dmke6x” which stated that “if your travel is between 25th march 2020 till 14th april 2020-please note that you do not have to call indigo/air asia or yatra.com to cancel your flight. Indigo will automatically cancel your booking. Entire amount will be secured for future booking under a credit shell against your pnr”
Thereafter i tried contacting customer care many times, the reason being that i am not a frequent flier and getting the money in a credit shell will not benefit me in any way whatsoever! But i was not able to reach the customer care in any way.
Again on 07.07.2020 i received an email with the subject - “refund details yatra ref[protected]”, which stated that “we would like to confirm that the refund of 29212.00 as yatra ecash due against yatra reference number[protected] was processed on 7, july, 2020 to your e-wallet”.
Firstly, for my trip the total amount paid via bank was rs. 66, 928, transaction id: [protected], date-17.12.2019 but i received rs. 29, 212 as refund! (Screenshot attached-1. Jpg). Like i had mentioned earlier i am not a frequent flier and this is absolutely inconsiderate and sadistic if you refund less than half the amount to my credit shell when it was cancelled by the airline and not by me!
Secondly, when due to the corona pandemic all the flights were suspended and we were not able to board the flight how can the status for pnr k6b1qk show as “completed” (Screenshot attached-2. Jpg).
Lastly, i demand that you refund the entire amount to my bank account and not “arm twist” me and coerce me to forcefully accept the credit shell half refund amount! I would like my money back instead, and i would like to appeal to you to honour that request. I am entitled to a full cash refund if the airline cancels, and i refuse to accept the credit shell refund. The option of holding the refund amount in credit shell by the airlines shall be the prerogative of the passenger and not a default practice of the airline.
Please contact me urgently and refund me my entire amount of rs. 66, 928 to my sbi account immediately.

    I had initsially revcedv a ecash amount of 10, 937 yata has deducted 900 rs wihtout any intimation it has my hard earned amount that is stuck in this ecash wallet and i cannot even transfer it to my bank account which i require the amount very badlly they have just taken the ampunt in their custody even when the airlines have refunded to them

      Hi
      I cancelled my flight from ranchi to pune which was on 27th of June, 2020.
      Air Asia conveyed that refund has been done from their side...then why is it not yet processed to my bank account from your side.

          I m using yatra since a long time and I’m came up with a problem. I was booking the flight for the friend and at the time of the payment I have used the upi transfer. I have processed the fund from my bank account it’s been Send and the application redirected me to the payment page again since the amount is been completed from my bank it’s not a small amount it’s 31000/- since we trust the yatra I got this kind of the service..

              Money got deducted but ticket not booked neither any transaction details

              I have booked two flight tickets from pune to jharsuguda for the date of 26th of september 2020 and the booking done on 7th of september 2020.

              My money rupees 12200 got deducted in yatra.com and ticket is not delivered neither any failed transaction, pending trasaction or any tranasaction no reflected. Even i did not received any mail or message on my registered mail/mobile no.

              Not resolved. I have not got my money back. Indigo booking reference qgn8ps upb9hh. Total amount refunded by indigo is rs. 2501 plus rs 4112 according to the confirmation mail sent by them. I have contacted indigo and they said it will be sent to the agent i booked the flight with i. E yatra. Please process it immediately.
              Already more than a month. Yatra website says issue resolved, but i have not received any refund.

                We have booked flight from HDFC regalia where travel partner was Yatra on march 2020, due to covid flight got cancelled and airline refunded full amount to Yatra, but it's 5 month and Yatra haven't refunded back to us, they are not responding over mails, not reachable via phone, please help to get it resolved asap

                      My flight was cancelled by indigo airline on 21st march and they processed a full refund from their end (I have proof of that). But yatra.com (Travel agency) is holding this refund for more than 3 months.

                      Booking ref no[protected] for pnr redppl.

                      I have registered my complaints with yatra.com many times to get a resolution. But, yatra.com is holding the money and not giving the refund.

                      Whenever i am raising a complaint on their website, they are changing the status to resolved without giving any solution. It is mental harassment for me to follow up every day to get the refund.

                      Based on my experience, i will advise others also to avoid yatra.com for travel booking.

                        Dear Sir, I was booking the bus ticket through said website and was paying through Amazon UPI on 15th August 2020. My money was deducted two times but the ticket was not booked. While raised query through mail support got an id YA:26033894 but after that till date no any response got from them. This is the last complain I am raising against my refund if not provide soon I will be forced to file an official complain in consumer court in jamshedpur.

You can do the re-booking through self-service on GoAir App/website goair.in under the “Manage Booking” option by using the booking reference (PNR) of your original booking. You can reschedule the travel for the same passenger for any sector without paying any rescheduling fee. However, fare difference if any will be applicable.

                                    Initially we cancelled ticket to CHINA on May 19th.
                                    Till 20th July they informed they filed with airlines but didn't received.

                                    5th Aug i informed them, they got money from airlines on July 13 in full.

                                    7th Aug yatra informed they will refund within 15 days.
                                    booking reference number [protected]

                                    Still no refund received.

                                    Yatra is doing the trick to kill time, also they reply separately always breaking the mail chain.

                                    Reference number already there. But yatra trying to cheat.

                                    Again recived another. Email to delay payment.

                                      Hello there
                                      I was booking a ticket from Yatra.com travel agency yesterday at 9:57pm from Vadodara to Pune through its yatra.com android application. and when it came time to make the payment I made the payment through phonepe app having transaction I'd P2008202157398490988714 of ruppes ₹1050.the given payment has been transferred to respective travel company but my ticket was not booked.and the given amount has been deducted from my bank account.
                                      So please consider my request.and please refund my amount.
