Booked flight through Yatra flying from Delhi to shirdi and back. Airlines canceled the flight due to operational reasons and issued full refund on ticket price. however Yatra did not pay me back for the price of my ticket.
Yatra only allows processing of cancellation through its website and there was no way reach a customer care person any way on the website. After much effort they refunded me Rs 10. Through their “ standard” online process.
There is no way that this process allows the consumer to mention that the airline cancelled the flight ( thus no mistake of the traveler) and issued full refund for the ticket price- which Yatra refuses to pay back.

What a mess ! How is such cheating allowed on the part of yatra?

    Hi team,

    While booking a ticket today (16th feb, 2020) from bangalore to varanasi, amount got debited from my scb bank account but tickets did not get generated. Could you please help me out, immediately.

    I want to book another ticket immediately, i am waiting for the refund or the update status.

    Is there any any timeline with in which it will be resolved, really pissed by the services provided by yatra, no response from the them. Please try to resolve this complaint on priority as i have to book another ticket, could you please fasten the process.

      I have booked bus from mumbai to shirdi on 09.02.2020 at 22.15hrs. I have provided bookings as per screenshot attached below. I was trying to contact operator from afternoon but contact details provided is incorrect and operator also not contacted me till i raise complaint through mail.

      The operator has contacted us at 22:36hrs on 9/02/2020 and sent massage at 22.55hrs. I was waited till 23.35hrs along with my pregnant wife and 3yrs old daughter. I have contacted the driver he said he is coming from shirdi it may take half an hour to reach the pick up point. This was very bad experience which i had using yatra.com
      Kindly make refund and please don't let other to experience the same.

      Regret the inconvenience caused. Full refund of INR 500.00 has been processed from our end on 12 FEB 2020 . Yatra takes 24 hours to process the refund, if payment has been made from a private bank, it will reflect in the same account within 2 to 3 working days and if payment has been made from public sector bank, it will take up to 7 working days for the credit to reflect in your account.

        I booked an airline ticket through yatra.com, and later changed the date of travel.

        1st booking,
        Indigo airlines,
        Pnr no iwp24e for travel on 16th jan.

        Date change request made on 12th jan for travel on same airline, same route, on 20th jan. New ticket issued with pnr no tkctkg

        Yatra partially refunded rs. 8, 025 whereas indigo made a refund of 10, 600, yatra should refund me the balance approx 2600 rupees.

          I had booked flight from Kolkata to Bangkok for 31/12/19 and canceled on 25/01/20.
          My PNR no.is MCS5HL.
          The booked flight company has already initiated the refund.I have already talked with the Airline representative.The initiation was done on 25/01/20..
          How many days does it take to get the refund.It is already more than 10 working days.
          I have regularly booked my flights through Yatra.This is the first time I have faced such problem..I had never expected too.
          I would be grateful if you kindly look in to the matter at the earliest.
          Kindly initiate my refund.

          We would like to inform you that anytime when a cancellation is directly processed with the Airline, the customer need to claim refund through My bookings section or by email us in order to initiate the refund from our side. Further, we have forwarded the request to our concerned team to initiate your refund of INR 2290.00 from our end. Yatra takes 24 hours to process the refund, if payment has been made from a private bank, it will reflect in the same account within 2 to 3 working days and if payment has been made from public sector bank, it will take up to 7 working days for the credit to reflect in your account.

              Hi,

              I am rupali phatak verified customer from yatra.com
              I booked two flights from yatra portal and had an extremely terrible experience with that.

              Now i am going to state both the problems and need to the refund asap.

              1. Reference number:[protected]

              There is no booking id given to me as when i was doing the payment the money got deducted from my account but no booking was made in return when earlier i contacted yatra for the same they claimed that the status was auto reversed you can check with your bank.
              When contacted the bank they claimed that the money had been deducted. So you need to ask the company to provide you the refund.

              The amount for the ticket was inr 5790/-

              The booking was made on 30th september 2019 and till date i haven’t received any refund for it or call from the company.
              I have attached the email received from the company.

              2. Booking reference : xbqrgb
              Booking id:[protected]

              This ticket was booked on 30september 2019.
              From jaipur to mangalore for 27th october 2019 (23:55 -6:35) indigo
              A week prior to the date of flying from they send us a msg that due to unavailability of required number of passengers to fly from jaipur so therefore we are cancelling the flight and we are providing 3 options to choose the flight from without paying extra or you can cancel the complete ticket and book another ticket and within 5-7 working days you will get the refund.
              Relying on this i canceled the ticket on 26th october 2019. I received a mail too that there will be no deductions and complete amount will be given back ie inr 5614/-
              Again till date i haven’t received any refund.

              What am i supposed to do?
              A total of rs 11, 404 got wasted? Is it a small amount?
              I don’t want any emails or anything i want my compensation it’s been 3 months now.

              I want yatra to take action asap. Else i will have to take legal actions.

                flight booking using google pay

                I have booked a flight through yatra from patna to bangalore. The money was deducted but i did not receive the tickets.
                Flight details:
                Flight: indigo 6e-178
                Travel date: feb 1, 2020
                Travel time: 6:15 pm
                Travel place: from patna to bangalore

                The booking was done using google pay but i did not receive the ticket. I have already sent the email to yatra but i did not get a response from them....

                I had booked a bus ticket for 16-jan-2020 from ballia to lucknow, booking reference is[protected]. Bus pnr: xalm[protected]. Operator pnr: xalm[protected]. Seat number: 22, 21. Bus departure time was 8pm. I cancled the ticket at 7.25pm when i canceled the ticket it had shown that your ticket cancled sussesfully and after that i emailed to company at 7.58 pm also. After 1 hour at 9pm yatra.com mailed me that you cancled your ticket after 8pm i. E. Departure time so company unable to refund your bus fare. I followed cancelation policy, cancled the bus ticket before 1hr5min according to rule it is responsibility of the company to return back my 85%fair.

                  First of all i make the flight booking from raipur to delhi n it wasn’t confirmed and the money has been deducted from my account and even i got a message from yatra as you can see in the pic above. Yatra said if your flight fare deducted will be reversed. I would really like to share the message yatra has been sent it to me but some how it failed. Please do contact as soon as possible. Let me know about my refund.

                    I have booked a trip with yatra in last week of december 2019 for bhutan. The agent told us that they will provide 4 star hotels and try send the email with all details mentioning 4 star hotel. As i believe in yatra i haven’t crossed check the hotel and booked the trip. Now they are saying that those hotels are actually 3 star as per yatra but 4 star as per google or other travel site. Now i feel cheated and i am looking for resolution from last 1 week but they are not replying or calling us.

                        We would like to inform you that we have checked the flight status with Airlines and as per them the flight is canceled.

                        Hence full refund of INR 23639.00 has been processed from our end. The refund will be credit back into your same account through which you have made the payment.

                        Please be informed that flight operations are beyond our control and totally under airline surveillance. Therefore there is no compensation would be possible in this from our end.

                            I raised this ticket to refund the fare difference as per the fare drop policy which you provide while booking flights details.

                            Your customer care executives are simply asking for screenshots instead reading the complete mail, i have already provided all the required screenshots.

                            I also have a suggestion, if you have my last booking reference number and you have your own system to check new fare why you need to have screenshot from customer to show that price is lower. Please improve your customer service instead of just frustrating customers. If you can't fulfill your policies then please dont provide such offers/discount.

                            its hardly usable, even after booking flight of 5000 you can use 100 ecash, so to use your 9000 ecash i need to spend 450000.
                            So this is your great fare assurance policy to fool customers .

                              THEY DON'T CARE About CUSTOMER GREVIANCE. The customer support especially for bus booking is the worst - PATHTIC.

                              I have made a bus booking on YATRA for Nov 30TH, 00:09. on the day travel the bus driver denied me saying that on his side tge booking was on Dec 01st. I then don't have any number to contact or any other way to contact the Yarra people. I had a visa appointment the next day and it was affected because of YATRA.

                              I have written a mail stating my issue, and I got a generic reply that they will look into the issue after 2 days and nothing happened after that. I again have to follow up with them - they have replied back saying that the merchant has denied the refund since he had logs showing that my booking was on Dec 1st. And they closed the issue by saying to me to talk to the merchant

                              Here the whole mistake is from YATRA - I have filtered for buses on Nov 30th. THen

                              I have booked a bus on Nov 30th at 00:09. I got the ticket and checked into the YATRA APP. The date is same as what I have booked that is Nov 30th 00:09 (attached the ticket).

                              And Now they say that merchant has send a right ticket with date as Dec 1st. Is that my mistake to not check the merchant issued ticket when I have booked ticket from YATRA. And secondly I have booked on YATRA app for bus on Nov 30th and how I am responsible for that and why I need to get in touch with merchant.

                              Isn't it obvious that YATRA should take responsibility for the mistakes.

                              Till date I don't have a proper reply from them.

                              Thank you for your patience & apologize for the delay. We have checked the details with the operator due to some issues the ticket got booked for 01st instead of 30th. The operator apologizes for this and releases a refund.

                              We have initiated your refund of INR 580.00 from our end into your same bank account through which you have made the payment.

                              Please note, Yatra takes only 24hrs to process the refund, Further, if the payment was made through Private sector bank then it will take 2-3 working days & if the payment was made through Public sector bank then it will take up to 7 working days to reflect the credit into your account.

                                No proper trip lots of messed in hotel booking and local agent create chaos below goo[censored]p
                                - waited 2.5 hours on airport to pick after lots of follow ups and chaos created by local agent. It was threat to my family to wait outside of hotel.
                                - no sim card provided on arrival which was part of my package paid my own money.
                                - went to photo studio to click and get passport size photo at the time of visa issuance as same was not mentioned in documents list provided for yatra.
                                - need xerox copies of documents that also not informed in list of documents.
                                -keep changing hotel which agreed while booking package and provided on voucher below than category what i have paid for.
                                - sales executive not explained and helped well to resolve my problem a d very arrogant behavior while talking to me name is kapil.
                                - your online executive had not given enough option we got to know after we explore other people.
                                - i have asked for hotels provide veg restaurants but failed to provide so i dinner outside.
                                - in paro missed one place in iterniery due to not guided by your executive and end moment they told we need to issue permit but in my itinerary it was not mentioned any where.
                                - whenever i complained your executive mr kapil answers me arrogant and trying to stretch issue even though provided all mails.
                                - during my whole trip of 7 days i exchanged email around more than 60 with yatra to streamline my trip and make sure all will go as per plan and also called them more than 40 times than my trip went little bit good.
                                - i have asked refund of 20 k due to this all inconvenience still not reply by yatra team and provide.
                                - i have all audio clip and mails as supporting will submit the same as and when ask.

                                  H team,

                                  I have not received any support regarding the jet airways cancelled ticket bearing reference no.[protected] booked on february from hyderabad to london round trip for 2 (Myself aged 78years and my wife aged 69years). Jet airways has given necessary comments to yatra regarding full refund but yatra.com company is not even responding to my follow up email for refund even after 4months and my booking is not shown ng on their website either. No one picks up call and not a single customer care number is working. I am contemplating legal actions against this gross misconduct against 2 very senior citizens and i have to approach the consumer forum.

                                  Please help me receive my hard earned money.

                                    I have done one hotel booking of agra through yatra.com vide booking ref id[protected] on 22.03.19 through google pay. The amount was rs.1775.
                                    On the month of october i have cancelled the booking. They have confirmed me that they have initiated refund on 30.10.19. But after 18 days has passed the amount is still not credited in my account. When ever i am asking yatra for utr number or rrn number they are providing the number generated on 22.03.19 which i transferred to them for booking. Every time they are answerig the same but it is still not credited in my account. Kindly help me out to get the money.

                                      I booked a flight ticket from delhi to bombay the ticket did not get booked but 10079 amount is debited from my account.

                                      I tried contacting the support team but unable to do..
