I had booked my flight on 21st March around 10pm, from yatra.com. But after making the payment I recieved a mail that the booking status is pending, and I will be updated withing 3 hours. Even after 3 hours got no update so I tried connecting with customer care, I realised they dont take complaints after 6pm. So next day around 9 am I called them and I found that the booking is canceled and now they dont want to book another flight for me within the same price. They did not even compensate for the 12 hours delay in confirming, because since they did not confirm I could not book another flight bu the the time I contacted the customer service the prices were high in all the airlines. Afterall how can I book another flight without know the status of the current one, they would have taken cancellation charge for either of the ticket had it been confirmed. They did not budge on getting a newer ticker even if it was a 2k extra. They only refunded the amount that I paid. And now I am left with no flight booked with 12 hours loss and the prices have reached the sky. Had they told me the booking was cancelled withing 3 hours, I would rebooked the flight. I think the right resolution of the issue is to get me a flight on the same day Was this information helpful? |
