I recently booked one hotel named "Hotel Camelot" with my gift voucher from Yatra.
Now due to some medical constraints I'll not be able to reach there and hence I had to cancel the trip today and the refund mode I chose was eCash.
At the time of cancelling it showed that I would get 100% refund i.e 3870 Rs and the same information I have received in mail too which I'll add here as attachment.
Now as refund I only got 870 Rs that which I made payment via bank.
They are not returning the remaining 3000 Rs which I have paid via gift card by saying that the Gift Card is not refundable!
Now the hell of a question is at the time of cancellation why they didn't show it up!
And the second and most important thing is that the refund mode I selected was eCash. If for sometime I consider that the gift card was for only one time use then also they should not face any problem at the time of refunding as because I have selected the payment mode as eCash.
Thirdly regarding this I contacted to my gift voucher issuing authority and they have clearly mentioned that the decision is of Yatra and in no way they are involved in these. If Yatra want to return the money they can definitely do that.
And last but not the least the customer service team of Yatra is absolutely ridiculous. I have tried multiple times to reach to them via phone at the time of cancelling. But they are not at all responding.
Kindly help me to get my 3000 Rs back.
