[Resolved] Yatra Online / Yatratrip.in — rescheduling

I booked a ticket for bangalore to pune for 26th may, 2019 today at around 12.20pm. I needed to change it to 1st june. I then called their customer care in next 4 hrs, and they mention that the reschedule fare is more than the fresh flight tickets. Per government rules, 24 hours cancellation is free. I think there is a need of change in cancellation system for the 1st day of booking. I haven't heard back yet. But I hope to hear back from them soon. The Yatra team contacted me at 11PM yesterday. They mentioned that it is upto the Airlines whether to refund or not. I then contacted SpiceJet for the refund immediately. But, they flatly refused saying that once ticket is booked the cancellation charges are same.

As per SpiceJet, there is no clause of 24 hrs for them.

While I understand Yatra's perspective, I feel the Airlines (in this case, SpiceJet) is not honoring the 24 hours rule at all.
