YatraGenie — YatraGenie Ticket no:YGT[protected] Status:RESERVED. No information to customer regarding bus cancellation | |||
Yesterday, I experienced one of the terrible bus services, courtesy: YatraGenie. I could not digest that one service provider's people could be so un-apathetic, careless & ignorant. I had to board your bus at 4.15 PM from NAD junction in Vizag, I called your guys at 3.00 PM to change the boarding point. And all unfortunate news were waiting for me. 1. Call center lady told me that your ticket is not reserved. 2. She told me that nobody has booked ticket. And bus is now cancelled, you make other arrangements. Holy !!! 3. She told me call the Yatragenie Vizag operator. That person picked up phone after several attempts. And told me I don't know anything. Call the conductor. 4. Mr Conductor only understands Telugu, and told my friend (who can speak/understand Telugu) that No bus today. My question to you Mr YatraGenie... 1. Why you don't inform customers to make alternate arrangements beforehand? 2. If you think, SMS/calls are still expensive in India, Ask the customers to pay some extra money. 3. I don't understand, why you cannot keep a single point of contact to address customer's problems, who is familiar in Hindi/English. End Result: I had to book last minute flight to Bangalore paying more than 12k and 3k with other travel cost for me and my wife. And nobody can take the mental agony. Today, "YatraGenie" lady called me again to inform that it's indeed their problem(some system issue, which they cannot avoid) and money will be refunded to my account.
