Yes Bank — average monthly balance charges taken for promised zero balance account | |||||
I was approached by the yes bank personnels for opening a account, even though i didnt wanted a account an offer was told which i zero balance account for a year and asked to open an account with bank. I opened the account on 23/11/2017 and slowly started doing few transactions in the account. And kept some cash balance in the account too. But on 28/3/2018 the bank charged me rs 590.00 (Rs 500 for amb charges and rs 90 gst) as amb charges for month of jan. I had approached the personal banker as this was not the promised conditions when i opened the account, i was fooled around for more than a month saying they are investigating on this matter and was asked to withdraw any amount in the account by the personal banker. On 1/05/2018 again the same amount was withdrawn or debited from my account as amb charges and as there was no balance the account had gone to rs. -590.00. On further enquiry i was asked to go to the bank and sign amb charges reversal form, on it there was a clause to keep minimum balance in account. As i was not interested in continuing with a bank which faked offers for just account opening and charging customers, i asked to reverse the amount debited twice from my account and once the reversal is done i will close this account. After which and amount of rs 500 was reversed which i just 1 reversal and the bank balance from rs -590.00 became rs -90. The bank site shows my account balance as rs 500 but when i try to withdraw and close it shows rs -89.90, thus i can't withdraw anything as the full reversal is not done. I am still in contact with the personal banker to solve this issue and still getting vague responses in this matter, its been 2 months now and i had so much trouble with this account as i had to change my other auto debits of this account to other bank because i had lost trust with this bank. Please assist as i couldn't find any option to contact any higher officials of the bank and get my money back. Was this information helpful? | |||||

Yes bank sales people are polite and deal nicely but once they have your account they are most rude staff in banking sector from what i have expirenced do not open account in this bank.
