Yes Bank — close the account

I had a salary account in yes bank with my previous job. I m not using that account and i had call to customer care to close my account but they say go to near'st branch but hamirpur himachal pradesh there is no branch of yes bank. So i can't go for close the account. And please cancel the charges of this account and then close the account.
