Yes Bank — nri account opening | |||
Have been a yes bank customer (Id 1641316) for three years. Moved out of india, and asked yes bank to change my account to nro. They asked me to close resident savings account, and open new nro and nre accounts. I filled up all the forms and they got it picked from my location. The person who i was dealing with asked me to prematurely withdraw all fixed deposits and stop my sips from the resident account. I did the same and emptied my account. Now, the customer service started to not reply to my emails. One and half months later i received an email that my signatures on the account closing form do not match. I did fill the form again and sent it to them. Now, it has again been more than one month and they are not responding to my emails. Although the initial promise was one week, they have taken more than three months and they have done nothing. Moreover, they don't even tell what the problem is. I have incurred financial losses (On fixed deposits, on mutual fund investments, etc.) and i have wasted so much time with them. If complaining here does not work, i will surely waste some more time and go to rbi banking ombudsman. Was this information helpful? | |||
